What if any of these 20 buck 1 stars worth it if any

It's more about the fact that Shang, Jane and Okoye have been in every vault, special store and all the things since last Anniversary.
Having those 3 at 550 has been very achievable this last year.
I "only" have about 9 550s myself, I'm not looking up, though - that roster is better than most what I see on the top of the brackets.

Getting them to 550 just by playing this past year or spending a lot ?

Wonder who we will see this weekend. Hopefully spider or iron

I doubt I would buy widow or storm since storm was in a hp vault what I got and I just work that one up

Sucks screwed up my back at work last year and found out a had to see a psychiatrist for some reason well they are not paying so stuck with a 200 buck bill. I could of got all 8. 1 star at that price

Not really. The majority of "550 players" in MPQ have exactly 3 550s, from breaking one big hoard. The number of players with more than that is a tiny minority of an already-tiny minority. Those players don't really have more options than someone with 3 550 1*s.

Those are not 550 players though.
Everyone with 6+ 550s has ascended 4s, that's what I meant with options.
Like, Juggs absolutely laughs at the 1* 5s this week.

It's true that I've got more options than you do, or than another player who has 550 Thor + whatever.

Those options are great for me, because I enjoy using different characters. They're totally irrelevant for gameplay though, because anybody with 550 Thor + whatever can trivially shred any team I can run, at any level, 100% of the time, generally without even using a pack.

So there's a distinction there, I guess, but it doesn't matter one bit. They're 550 players.

No once I open up my 3000. 1 star tokens it will push them to 550. Right now think juggie is 480 and vemon 463

Since mostly only do pve. I used to get 25 wins but haven't play pvp that much in long time. Maybe 1 or 2 fights per event It sounds like won't have a major effect on me. Was just thinking of buying the 1 stars every week they show up .. really haventbplayed much pve thst much as well just trying to comw hack to game now and put more time into it . Though doubt I every play like used to

Well at least. Iron man and spiderman (what would give me 4 1s. Pushed to 550.. what would push me back to around 130k. Hp). What should be enoght for at least 2 years.

Not sure if black widow . Hawkeye and other 2 be worth it

If you aren't playing much PvP then pushing those copies higher won't "hurt" you at all.

The playerbase as a collective needs to get over the idea that building a stronger roster "hurts" anyone. If you want to play a smaller game forever, ok then ...! Otherwise, reach for the sky.

Yup. I'm trying not to overlevel them too far as I want to keep all characters at (very) roughly the same level - Okoye was the first to break 500 - now 511 - SC & MThor are in second and fourth place in what feels like no time, and I'm hoping to get Odin instead of them as I somehow still don't have him champed. Kind of weird wanting rubbish characters instead of the best, I realise.

I'm going to pause the 1*5s at about 480 for now and level up some lower tier versions.

I just remembered -- the benefit nobody ever talks about in these discussions. Yes, when you get 550 characters on your rosters, your enemies in PvP may become higher level.

Nobody thinks about the inverse of that though. When you run 2x 550 in PvP, you are almost completely invisible to players who don't have a 550 roster.

Do you frequently lose 500 points when you try to climb? Do you lose to random 3* guys with Kang? Running 550 characters means you're invisible most of the time, to 99.9% of players. That's one of the reasons I was so happy about getting to that tier: I could finally queue the highest point teams, who frequently were not any more difficult than the other teams I was facing.

Thanks they been offered weekly for past few weeks if not longer ( know last two weeks. Since did juggie then vemon ..think there was a 2 star ares in there as well..). Maybe in few days.

Hopefully one of these days I get this game on my phone right now old old phone only 16gb. And it's all taken up by work apps ..mostly only play it on steam when home ..what isn't much working tue to say 12 to 14 hour days ( though I can play on these messages boards at work hehehe ) 😜

I'm fine with indulging in the 1* > 5*s, because ....
.... there's only 8 of them, the spending is limited. Very indulgent (for me), but limited. 8x $20 = $160 / cycle. 13 (or 14?) x $25 = $325.
... the 1s are going directly to the tallgrass, and they move fast, get to the deep money quickly.

I have the makings of a 4* CStorm on my roster. Great. Buy this one and I'm 2x as far along toward 5* ... but stil lhave to max one or both of the 4*s ... that will take quite sometime.

Put another star on the offer and I'd be tempted!

What rank was storm in that hp package after putting her in an hp package. Paying any price for storm seems overpriced .. then again have to look and see how close I got another one close to 4 star to make into am 5

Think we may see one come weds. Think might be mistaken but offered 1 star juggie then 2 star ares then 1 star venom now 2 star storm. So maybe mon to weds might see the next 1

I don't think they've ever sold 5* versions of the 2*. They did sell him as a 4*, but everybody has terrible numbers as a 4*.

I’m not sure what you looked at, but the preview numbers for a lot of the ascension offers have consistently been low for some reason. Maybe you’re thinking of that.

I can definitely see how ascended Ares could be worth using as a 5, especially boosted. Depends on the week and all that. Still not the fastest option but at least he has a green that can be as low as 5 AP.
