I tried to make her work against the SW Colossus teams but she's just way too slow and unreliable. I have literally never seen her once on an enemy team in PvP, even when boosted, and I can't think of a reason you'd choose her in PvE if you had other options.

I suppose I should be careful saying that someone "sees zero usage" though. Isn't there one guy on here who does every fight with 5* Wasp? Probably there are a few people who have Gamora as their first/only 5*, or like, Zoe Saldana stans or something, and those folks use her for everything.

That doesn't mean she's good.

That doesn't mean she's good.

I've seen her plenty when boosted. And Simulator is just meta fights anyway, so that's a rough comp.

So sorry to have offended all of the huge Gamora and Hela fans. I apologize, they are two of the very best characters in the game and I was wrong to doubt them!

Is it still ok to say bad stuff about Wasp? I remember last year, one guy here strenuously argued that she was just as good as Apocalypse and I was being small-minded when I put her down.

No, I think you're being pedantic. I said gamora saw "basically zero usage" to counter the damage reduction metagame of the time, and that Hela is not relevant to the metagame today or in the past. Both statements are objectively true.

If I said Wasp was irrelevant and saw basically zero usage, and someone pointed out that one guy who uses Wasp for every fight, I guess they'd be technically correct too.

Disagree. She was never meta, but boosted she was good and I used her in PvP. She also had some utility with Kitty as a special tile creator and booster.

I've always enjoyed boosting special tiles (I used to play Falcon/Daken or Blade in Deadpool Daily all the time, back when the 3* tier was more or less everything.) Hela is stupid fun with Polaris (and Kitty, if Hela isn't boosted,) in the long wave nodes. I've gotten my strike tile total up to adding 80-100K, it's ridiculous.

I'll agree she's not actively good, she's still just too darn slow to be good, but she can be silly fun.

Hela's green is one of the cheapest aoe. And with the right supports can be a no match making victory on easy nodes in PvE.

If im less likely to take hits with unboosted chasm/ihulk than i am with 2 boosted champed 5 stars,i would say there is a problem with the latest meta.

Yes and no. The issue could be because speed matters more than the meta. It does for me, I skip double boosted too. People just don't put up with slow play, they can beat that awful meta but it comes at a cost.

It honestly wasn't too bad for the last few weeks, since there was generally a good boosted character to use against Chasm. iHulk boost week was surprisingly good -- a boosted iHulk tanked everything so it made Chasm harder to use.

This week is pretty bad, though, and bringing your own Chasm only makes it worse. Seriously, in SIM I tend to run Chasm/iHulk/MThor or SW, and either way it just plain sucks - the Web tiles really fill up the board so damn quick MThor literally can't put out her charged tiles.

The AP drain is definitely what makes Chasm horrible to face, but I think he spams out the void and web tiles way too fast too.

Gambit's AP drain was ultimately why they had to kill him too. Passive AP drain is just an awful idea in a game like this.
