The slices we enter are all still as full as they always were . My placement scores haven’t changed in the past 3 weeks so the insignificant number who allegedly left apparently either haven’t or are irrelevant to the game as a whole . I hope the devs take into account the cost and time effectiveness over the past few weeks and realize there are always going to be Chicken Littles here no matter what they do . No one can please everybody, even our country works on the concept of only pleasing 51%. I either accept the results or emigrate.

Captain_Carlman said: Now that the alliance event is over, I'm probably out until at least the 4th. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't end up coming back, though.I did what some people recommended and played with direct sunlight near by and while it helped a bit, I found myself asking "Why am I doing this?" Why am I trying to adjust the way I play to make things less strenuous when it was a screwup on their end that "can't be fixed" for three weeks? If you are unaffected by the issues currently plaguing the game board, consider yourselves lucky. I only have mild discomfort playing, I can't imagine what it's like for the colorblind, the people that suffer from epilepsy, and the migraine-sufferers. The fact that the developers pretty much responded with "that sucks lol" felt like a real slap in the face without any real kind of solution other than "check it out in three weeks!" I hope this whole fiasco is a wakeup call. It's just a shame that a game I enjoyed so much for years went down this path.I'll probably keep checking this forum from time to time, just to see if the changes made were worth it or if they just open up a whole new set of problems. In the meantime, I'll uninstall the game but leave my roster alone in case things work out for the better. Happy gaming, everyone.

Cannibalqueen said: You know this last week or so was just playing a few matches to get my daily milestone,And not getting much headaches, today I pushed it tho, did about half the PVE plus got into top 100 PVP and shielded.and a few matches, no headaches, but for real, if I play for 20 minutes or so,I have a headache for the rest of the night.not like I am gonna die or anything, but it’s annoying and next week couldn’t come sooner for me. I really hope they fix this. I want to love this game so much, but it’s like they are trying to make this harder than it needs to be. If you guys like it, great, but in the meantime, zero option for those of us who it’s actually causing problems for.such an easily avoidable situation too.

St_Bernadus said: So updated gameboard fixes to go up this week? Any news on that?
DyingLegend said: 13 members of my alliance outright quit.I dont understand why they couldn't revert back until they fixed the new board. Maybe it's way harder than that, but other games can roll back updates if they are detrimental .
HoundofShadow said: I just realised it says by the week of April 4, so update would take place anytime between April 4 to April 10?
BriMan2222 said:It's not just a matter of personal prefence or liking the old board better it's "I'm color blind and can't tell what's going on any more" or "it gives me migraines to play"I don't mind it personally but I have several alliance mates that have cut back or quit because the board physically hurts their eyes. Just because you and your handful of anecdotal evidence don't mind it doesn't mean there aren't many who have problems, and it's in the games own best interest that everyone who wants to play can. If you like this game it benefits everyone to have more players for the games longevity.
The rockett said: @LakeStone thank you for the update. Why is this a 3 week wait? Why can’t this new board go down and the old one come back until you are ready to roll this out again? I am not a programmer so no idea how this process would work. Just curious if that could happen so the people that cannot play or having issues playing can at least keep playing the game they love.
DyingLegend said: Why not just revert to the old board while you fix the new board.April 4th is way too long for this terrible board. Looks like I'm taking a break until then.
Thanos said: In the future, maybe try running any major changes by a player based focus group before releasing them, you'd save everyone a lot of headaches
justsing said: I’m hoping this longer timeline means the devs are consulting accessibility/UX experts and getting more feedback on the upcoming changes.
Koolkatcody said: I downloaded a few new games today. Faithfully played this one almost exclusively since launch. Looking for a replacement. Tired of the headaches. I'll come check back in April maybe. .
merb713 said: Thanks for letting us know. I hope that some of those 3 weeks involve conversations with accessibility experts - and maybe starting the process of spec'ing out a colorblind settings option? Here's hoping for an accessible release on April 4 or sooner - I miss playing.

Polares said: What a MESS, you guys are showing everyone how to NOT do things. You should have reverted the initial changes immediately and then work in the fixes for the amount of time needed. When changes like this go live you should ALWAYS be able to revert those changes...I hope you will learn from this, but it might already be too late for this game...

It seems pretty clear that they either support what Michael’s saying or don’t see anything wrong with it. All of this and the slow rollout of fixes is really convincing me to quit.

The dude is a troll and/or a narcissist but what, the mods should just erase every unpopular opinion? I disagree with everything about his bad take but also don't think he said anything that should be flagged and/or hidden. Even bad takes are feedback.
