{Update} Upcoming Gameboard Fixes (3/19/21)

Update 4/15/21: Thank you everyone for your feedback and patience as we worked on the fixes to the Gameboard. These fixes are now live in the game via an in-game patch (no need to install a new update). If you don’t see the change during play, you may need to do a hard reset of the game to see the updated board.
We made the following adjustments to the Blue, Purple, and Green Tiles on the Gameboard based on tests and user feedback.
- Blue Tile shifts bluer/cooler
- Purple Tile shifts redder/warmer
- Green Tile shifts yellower/warmer
Two refinements have been made to the enemy turn performance.
- Enemy turn darkens slightly less overall so that players can follow enemy actions more clearly.
- The animation intensity going out from the curve of the tiles and background is softened.
Power ready fill-bars are now easier to identify.
- Animation have been adjusted to subtly increase the brightness and visibility of the ready-state fill-bar visuals.
We hope these improvements improve gameplay for all. We have seen some feedback in regards to some Tiles may appear a bit less saturated and vibrant compared to the original Tiles and that is something we will continue to look at and review in future updates.
Thank you for playing MARVEL Puzzle Quest!
Update: 4/7/21: We want to provide an update to everyone and that is the team is still busy at work on these fixes we shared earlier. While it is still feasible to have them completed this week, it's looking like these fixes will be in place next week. We apologize for the delay but we need just a little bit more time to have everything ready to go. Thank you for your patience!
Hi Everyone –
- Various color tweaks to the tiles to help make gameboard more visible to everyone.
- Make Powers easier to identify when activated.
- Alleviate some of the eye strain on enemy turns for a smoother transition in play.
Comments
I hope this actually means "Getting rid completely of the board dimming during the enemy turn" because that's one of the mayor complains that you have been getting across all channels of communication.
BUT, weren't u able at least to insert a warning when opening the game to warn people that the dimming can cause seizures and epileptic episodes? Or for u is ok to leave the game how is for now? U not afraid in the meantime of being denounced from someone physically damaged from what u did?
And also, why u don't want to give us the possibility to choose what board we want? U afraid to admit u failed? Don't worry, u failed in any case, no need to try cover it. And with this u demonstrate u want to force us to play the game u want, not the game we want. Explain us why, why u don't care about what ur players ask?
"Releasing a new update with any sort of changes to UI/UX is a long and meticulous process that can take many months or more of careful planning to evaluate and to reach launch"
Now tell me
WHAT? In months u hadn't been able to think that a board like this could hurt people's health? We're u playing cards while projecting? Many things u did in these years weren't very serious, but last update won over everything and I'm not able to find an explanation for what happened, why u did it? Why u don't test? Why u don't ask for consultancies? In so many months of "hard work" no one of u had a little doubt? I really cannot find a rational answer. A little bit of sincerity would have been appreciated, but i doubt will ever happen. Very disappointed, didn't think was possibile u could fall so low
April 4th is way too long for this terrible board.
Looks like I'm taking a break until then.
Good you‘re seeing it being addressed. Looking forward to it, being a bit sad of not playing the game for a month. But saves me a bit of money I would‘ve spent on offers.
Need we be concerned you take care of „some“ of the changes instead of all the problematic issues? Please really consult a UX/UI and Accessibility expert on it. It might cost a few thousand dollars but thats a good investment. Thank you! :-)
