    Had one of those at the end of Heavy Metal (was only like -37), shielded up, then the same guy hit my shield again, but this time lost! so it was only a net -23 I think. I got a good laugh out of it.

    lol... yeah, I always cheer a little when I actually get a defensive win... maybe happens once every 20 attacks.

    I really f'ing hate his game some times. I've never seen so many matches where I've lost a full 141 patch to a 85 Thor. 3 out of five games I was just decimated. Match ups that should have no chance of winning just kills me. 5000 hp gone in one turn.
    No matter what I used. Patch with 100 hulk. Patch with 96 mags. Patch with 100 hood. 85 Thor and obw just wiped the floor wih me. Stupid luck/cheat cascades. It's like the game knows your trying to push for a shield and just slaps you around.

    I have to say, this is one of the reasons I love Fat Thor (LT, whatever you want to call him). Played one of those matches earlier today (you know, tons of cascades into OBW stealing all your AP and generally feeling helpless) in the SHIELD Sim and just shrugged it off cause LT has a million HP. Took an 85 Thor Thunderstrike into Call the Storm and just gathered another green match or two and totally demolished the opponent.

    I run into that same thing at times... sometimes multiple matches in a row. In just 1-2 turns, all of a sudden the opposing OBW magically has enough ap to use Recon, twice - then 85 Thor comes out and does a Might/Strike and/or Call to Storm, etc - completely killing at least one character before I can really do anything.

    I just think there are times that the AI goes crazy with it. What I call "Instamatches" all over the place.

    That is exactly why I'm really hoping to get top 10 in this... even though, looks like it's going to be tough. I really need a red cover for my lThor... he's 0/4/4. Would love to just get one red cover... pretty puhlease

    I'm going through one of these nights. And it's even worse because this is the second night in a row it's happening. I'm seriously getting sick of it. It's already hard enough since I don't have a roster full of all maxed out characters, now I have to deal with the computer getting perfect set ups and knowing EXACTLY where things are going to fall. Makes it hard to actually get to enjoy the game.

    Yesterday I left Kakko in my node, to get nice 44pts today.

    I didn't. Daken 212. I suggest staying away without Spidey or Cmags - this guy heals himself for 650hp each turn...

    At least I only lost 6pts.

    He's the top of my bracket... Slobofix right below him. And yes, they both have fully maxed Daken's. He's got over 1,300 over though, so probably a juicy target... but I don't know that I would advise it, lol

    frackynight did u manage to get to 1100 with multiple yesterday if u did how much hp did u use? Bowgentle did u manage to get to 1100 also? Seems that e pts for every1 is so low on average 800+ n below..

    Climbed yesterday up to 900 pts.. Have not left a defensive team.. Cause i falled asleep.. I let my 80 daken/ 141 Mag-patch on the clock.. Wake up this morning..-500 pts.. Whooooh.. Generally its between 150-200 pts.. The good thing is i got so many 50 pts nodes.. You know big daddy is coming pimpin.. icon_e_biggrin.gif .. Hope you re all shielded guys. icon_mrgreen.gif

    The time that I started feeling comfortable taking on 141 teams was slightly after the MMR change, so I don't know whether it's ALWAYS been like this or if I was just skipping so many 141's I didn't notice it before, but I am so sick of seeing only 141 teams, none worth more than 20 points. I don't care anymore, bring on the lazythor, just give me SOMETHING that won't make me lose -40 on retal, for tinykittys sake

    I did it with two shields - one at mid 800s, and another around 1050. Got hit once going up from there to 1100.

    Just made a quick push and am sitting at about 950. I've shielded for now, only a 3 hour, and I'll make another push hopefully to 1100 when that runs out.

    I can see WYP in my top 10, most other names are unfamiliar. I could use the green Xforce, but I'm not gunning for #1 - I do need all colours for LT though, so I'll be aiming for any top 10.

    Looking forward to when everyone has 141 LT in their lineups and D3 is forced to finally nerf the beast. Well, or they might just release an even more OP lazy character instead. Good times.

    I managed to get into the low 800s, I think 830 something, and that had gotten me into the top 10. I said screw it and just shielded for the day. I'm sure I'll end up getting knocked out of the Top 10 by the end of the event, but I figure this is more than enough to keep me in the Top 25 and get at least 1 Lazy Thor cover.

    How long do you usually wait between shieldhops for retaliations to taper off? I gambled way too much, was almost at 1k, but got hit all the way down to 875 in a couple matches
