    That was a brutal climb to 1100 even with a semi-leveled Daken.

    Well then rejoicing for 'good' changes (back to old, that is) before the Spidey nerf.

    I saw tons of 2 x 85 teams on my way up to 1103. I was confused at first, but figured I may as well take advantage of it. I hit a few of the teams multiple times...the points weren't great, but the matches took a minute or two.

    I was hit this morning by a team with no one over a level 55...I guess with heavy boosting they beat 141 punisher and spidey with a 150ish buffed Daken...regardless of how they did it...I am impressed.

    Sorry Morgh. I went on a blind rush last night trying to get to 1100, but that didn't go too well when I got hit for -200 at 1050 lol. Call it karma if you want. icon_e_smile.gif

    Yup..happened to me several times. Shield goes down... clicking on a match, bang....attacked. they seem to it turned on immediately now.

    How did all these people climb to 1100? I climbed to 900 twice and am barely finding any good matches worth any points. Even if I find such a match, it's -100 points after the match. I can live with not getting a second purple LD cover, not like it would make my Daken useful, just surprised at the lack of worthy matches.

    I'm lucky to find a 20,21,24 point match. Every so often there might be 27. Normally in the 18-19 range, have to skip constantly for a 20

    Got a bit over 800 and decided to shield before I start getting hit by those retals.

    I don't know if it's because I did poorly in the last event but I'm getting some easier matches instead of 2x85 right off the bat.
    Bracket's Top 10 is "just" at 850 so far. Considering the prizes I thought it would be worse, but it's still too early to tell.

    I get too 800 and i keep getting dragged back down to 600 within minutes. Its truly bizarre.

    Hit 1105 & Daken Purple mere minutes before the sharks/zombie hordes found me...

    My Daken is now a scary looking LvL 30 instead of 23 with one of every color!

    Tried to give pts away to forumites, and any other people I ruthlessly farmed on the way up...

    ( I think I hit coolbond like 3 times on the way up! icon_redface.gif You are asking for it running OBW! )

    but I gave u pts back on the way down like 4 times,...

    It's nuts out there. Ravenlord in my bracket has cracked 1k only to be smacked down to 800s twice now. Can't believe the guy is still going at it. He was as high as 1060 at one point.

    Must have Moar LT covers.... this is probably the earliest I have seen 9 of top 10 already shielded (lone unshielded is stubborn ole Ravenlord).

    My top 10 were shielded about 18 hours ago. If the future of the game is really this, it's not gonna last long. I'm not gonna spend dozen something euros per week just to be able to progress in a game. That's a higly untenable system

    Yea the shielding is insane for this tourney but I'm contributing to the problem too. I want the Laken obviously and I need exactly 1 each of LT to finish him off as well so I'm okay with burning HP on shields for this one. Usually I buy maybe one 3 hour shield and that's it.

    This pvp is a bit different bc of the daken cover at 1100 and then Lazy thor rewards. Its making this pvp super active. Most people view shield hopping to 1100 worthwhile bc its still cheaper than buying the daken cover. That has not been the case for most of the last pvps (I.e. loki, rags, doom). So don't feel you have to go shield crazy all the time. Not sure what your roster is like but I chalk this pvp up as more an aberration.

    I just unshielded to play two matches, which I won. I had both players in my queue for a couple hours, hoping they would shield by the time I attacked them. Both had dropped points according to their alliance contributions, then stabilized.

    Post match report showed 30 points won in each (which was the number shown in the queue), yet only 10 each were added to my total. I am guessing points were added to my total based on the players' current points instead if the points shown in my queue.

    Anybody else getting this? Server troubles again?

    This is ****. This tourney is competitive enough without getting awarded erroneous points during a precious unshielded push.
