He had a strong team in the Mags round, but he was downing my max Doom and 101 Rags 2-3 times for every retaliation I got in on him, and I was boosting. Not quite as crazy as thereck, but still a bit suspect.

I've been seeing often on the boards that people purposely tank the lightning rounds in order to drop MMR for the weeklies. I wonder if this is actually accurate or working like people think. I've just started playing lightning rounds today, having never spent any time in them before. I'm noticing though that the opponents I'm facing during the lightning rounds are major scrubs compared to the guys I see regularly during the weeklies. I've easily, and I mean easily won a diabolical token, a heroic token, and a purple mag cover, and have been attacked maybe twice? I wonder if this is because my MMR is really low in lightning rounds due to never playing them before? But it's high in the weekly tourney because I've played in a bunch of them? Just a theory...

Ah tinykitty. thereck hit my twice in literally under 5 skips from him. Even with boosts, I seriously doubt he could eat through a rag in what, 30 seconds?

Rezin123 is my screen name bumped me from 3 to 10th and far from 8th so I had to yield 6 times to get a diabolical since I only need a black cover to wrap up the Hood. All good though I pulled a purple Mags which I really needed anyways.

Top 2 the Rag round with a super modest team (85Wilf 85Obw) somehow but failed on the Hood...Dropped from 14th to heroic token in the last minute hit for -24 to 25th and then -41 to unknown... Stupid Cap covers.

I remember used to having to grind to 400 for a diabolical. Didn't even have to go past 300 this time. I spent most of this tourney just refreshing and staring at the leaderboards.

I got really lucky and always got Yellow hoods from the random standard tokens and was able to win the blue covers with top 25 finishes. Getting top 2 for a yellow cover is a nightmare. I was firing on all cylinders and really going fast and I noticed when I was second with 450 points and third was at 360 that Jacobpc was at 590 so getting top 2 requires a miracle. Top 8 is hard enough.
