Got top 2 on Mag, now @ 3/3/5. It's kinda bitter sweet that he's going to get nerf before I can witness his greatness.

Blamo!! Decided not to throw up a shield for the last two minutes of the match. I was at about 350 and in 29 place. Two minutes later I drop 150+ points to place in in the top 500. Lesson learned good sirs, lesson learned. So far i have spent 125 HP on shields and collected two 3*. Totally worth it.

Thanks, I got lucky. I think Mag LR is a lot easier due to the future nerf he's going to get, so less competition for him I guess.

Aaaaagggggghhhh. I just fought a weakish team that had Modern Storm (and Modern BW) in the forest environment- can you see where this is going?
Yeah, fourth turn she got off Lightning Strike-Mistress of the Elements-Thorned Rose-Hailstorm-Widow's Sting-Agressive Recon-repeat. Never got another turn. I really should have quit to minimize the damage after I first saw what was happening, but I was so amused/infuriated that I just kept watching. Downed my Thor, OBW, Ragnarok sooooooo fast
NEVER making that mistake again.
And I have to say, even when not in the Forest environment, Modern Storm is BY FAR my least favorite character to fight... ugh.

Thats why I never let her live longer than 3 turns.

I know! That is always my plan (if Storm is present, I have NEVER failed to go for her first), but I didn't realize how much HP she had. I had gotten her down to about 200 out of 1800 when the chain started.

I am so burnt out by lightning rounds, so I play til I get about 150 points then switch to bagman and friends and let everyone get free points...Figure it's good to help others occasionally...

This is me exactly, except why go to 150? The last progression reward is at 100...

interestingly, I was trying to tank, so entered a fight, went in with bagman, and retreated. Total points? 0. Rank? 2156. I assume at 0 points I must be at the lowest rank, so that means there's only 2000 people in the lightning rounds? Interesting.

Yeah, because they're so short, fewer people than you'd think have a chance to join in.

He had a strong team in the Mags round, but he was downing my max Doom and 101 Rags 2-3 times for every retaliation I got in on him, and I was boosting. Not quite as crazy as thereck, but still a bit suspect.
