Sorta, but it didn't happen like that? Basically I'd empty it a few times, then apply all the stuff, open all the rewards from the stuff and apply those, then realize "oh look, I have more HP than I did when I started." So I'd pull a few more times, and then I'd stop for a bit.
Applying tons of rewards is just really fun.
Stop giving me reasons to keep buying out that vault!
This comment made me buy out the vault a few more times. This is your fault!

FYI, unless I am doing something wrong, buying out the vault does not pay for itself in HP. And, yes, I have an Ascended 5Venom1*.
It pays for itself in rewards but after emptying it 10 times, I still have way less HP than when I started. It's not horrible, but it's definitely not a "winfinite vault".

This is going to depend very, very heavily on how many of the 3* you have ascended (and their levels), how many of the elite tokens give you characters you've ascended, and what all of those champion rewards end up producing for you.
Bow and I are likely in a position where all of those things are producing big waves of reward cascades into other stuff.
If you're not there yet, I still think this a good vault, because you're making a down payment towards getting to that situation, and the cost is extremely low.

Totally agree it's a good vault. Just wanted to throw out there that it is definitely not HP neutral for everyone so YMMV.

Interesting! I wonder what the rest of the 5* 3* will look like. The scaling here is pretty crazy.
I'm not sure he's strictly better than 5* Thanos. The damage is nice, but sometimes you want the stun, and often 60k will be more than you actually need out of it.

Also remember that power boosters like Okoye work with 3* Court Death, because it doesn't stun.
Also, at the 3* level, his purple has a larger match damage multiplier, rather than locking the board. If that is still the case after ascension, it could be good with his 5* match damage numbers.
@IrisRyu can you share a screenshot of the purple ability? Or let us know if the match damage multiplier has changed with ascension?

Thanos’ damage multiplier is the same; 175% for 4 turns at Lvl 3 and 260% for 5 turns at Lvl 5. I’d take a picture, but I’m embarrassed of how little CP I have left.

Good call on the cropping! Quick clarification on 3* Arcade, the damage amount listed for Murderworld is only applied when firing his purple power. Murderworld traps do 8,659 damage per trap tile on their own. Paired with Deathlok and Emm5 and the trap tile damage was increased, but very inconsistently scaled. One trap tile did over 20k damage when Emm5 had 11 Red AP and another did 12k with 27 Red AP.
All of Arcade’s other damage numbers are as advertised and are silly.

Yeah 550ing a character from either tier feels like such a commitment because it takes so long. I’m trying to figure out who the best candidate would be. I settled on Omega and Polaris because they’re so good already. But wondering if there are better options? Thanos is definitely intriguing and someone I thought about and am further along on because I had 3 maxed when ascension started. Omega I only had one max. Maybe I switch back to the Titan just to have another 550 option to use sooner.

I think bullseye could be a sleeper in those new character events where most people run loaners. If he's dropping insanely huge strike tiles for killing someone that could be fun/deadly. But not worth chasing for that alone at the expense of investing in other characters.

Emm5 boosts Ascended 4* Juggs’ AOE match damage, but he doesn’t get a similar boost from Apoc or Okoye. I’m not complaining, but that’s a bug, right?

Seems likely; juggernaut was given a special exclusion from those boosts by tying his bonus damage to tile destruction even though it is worded and visually applied as the type of discrete additional damage that should receive the bonus for whatever reason.
I imagine it must then also receive a boost from SWitch.

My sleeper pick is still Doop for being the 1:1. He’s just got the potential for a clutch kit with 5* numbers. (Chavez, Hood, 5Profx rolled into one is quite clutch.
