I am instantly curious who this is because the 5 star version is a Villain while the 3 star is a Hero. They have to be the same person though.
The most obvious guess was Madame Web was the original easy guess but I don't think there is an evil version right?

Ability 3 - 7 Blue AP
Stuns the target for 2 turns, then the target and any enemies whose current health percentage is within 10% of the target's current health percentage deal 10% less damage and receive 10% more damage for 1 turn(s).- Level 2: Enemies within 12% of the target deal 15% less damage and take 15% more damage for 2 turns.
- Level 3: Enemies within 15% of the target deal 20% less damage and take 20% more damage.
- Level 4: Stuns for 3 turns. Enemies within 20% of the target deal 25% less damage and take 25% more damage.
- Level 5: Enemies within 25% of the target deal 30% less damage and take 30% more damage for 3 turns.
Is this ability fixed on usage or does it move as the targets health changes?

Is green % ability a stun, a double damage, or both ?
0 -
5* stuns always play. The other stuff on blue doesn't make much sense to me right now.
Red is just a copy of Hit Monkey, right?
Does green stun 33% of the time or deal double damage 33% of the time, or both?
Seems fine, I guess. A new character getting Hit Monkey's red ability is not inspiring confidence in the Chasm nerf (if it's even happening now?).

Blue's too complicated. I'm going to ask in the q&a but it would be very helpful if there was a way to see in-game what your powers' final result would be. Like kang's purple could just show the damage it'll do. Or this one would show which enemies would be affected if any.
1 -
maybe unpopular opinion but, for blue, remove all the complexity of %health comparison, put a CD tile on board, increase damage increase % by 10 to 20, ditch damage reduction and you get a nice nuker with straightforward abilities and clear gameplan (give him a mana battery and a damage soaker, stun 1 guy, nuke the two others and finish)
It would be striclty superior to this version that requires to do complex math and that will most probably have inconsistent behavior and most likely have no visual indicator to understand what is happening. (and probably be significantly easier to code)

Almost 100k HP. This is the second highest in the game right?
This is another character designed to go after chasm and ihulk. But theres no damage reduction or retaliation. Character is a group debuffer under certain circumstances.
Stick this character with Wanda and target red. It didn't work for hit monkey so I don't think it's going to work here either. Since red is this characters strongest color he/she will never be able to get enough AP to fire the power.
So meh I guess?2 -
This is far superior to hit monkey. Hit monkey non revival attack is only for villains. This is one ap more and can down both heroes and villains. With Kang and this new character you would down ihulk first who is already low health. This assumes everything is coded correctly and working as described.
Hit monkey serves no purpose.

Is the blue health% debacle based of numbers, or amount of health?
So is it x% of total health, or the 50k?
As the targets life changes would it bring people into that bracket?
Also, how is a stunned character going to damage you? Does this target only work while they're stunned, or for the rest of the battle?

Based off amount of health. Example:
Enemy 1 - 50K
Enemy 2 - 40K
Enemy 3 - 30KWith a level 5 ability, you'll hit anyone within 25% of the target's health. IE
Aim at Enemy 1 - Stuns Enemy 1 and affects Enemy 1/2 (50K +- 12.5K = 37.5K cutoff)
Aim at Enemy 2 - Stuns Enemy 2 and affects Enemy 1/3 (40K +- 10K = 50K and 30K cutoff)
Aim at Enemy 3 - Stuns Enemy 3, misses anyone else (30K +- 75 = 37.5K cutoff)The damage reduction from the target is in case any mechanic allows them to get out of the stun early (or they're immune), they'd still be affected by the other portions of the ability.

Hah! I wish my bank account worked the way your math does 😜
40k -10k=50k. Love it 😁0 -
So Chasm "counter" no. 469 is incoming. Great! Just what we were asking for. Also I thought the next bunch of 5* were supposed to be straight forward? Seems like a maths class to work out what is going on here.

Plus or minus, giving a range.

Another boring character IMO. The LL store is going through a seriously long meh fest. Doesn't look like that's necessarily going to end any time soon either apparently.

The thorn in this character's side will continue to be chasm's passive ap drain.
Hit Monkey's red costs 1 ap less, he passively creates a red or pink to aid faster collection of ap, and red isn't his strongest colour so provides some drain protection.
On the other hand this character has over 50% more health than hit monkey and a 3 turn stun to stop the drain for those turns.
Interested to see the red damage numbers.
450 Hit Monkey deals 23,526 + 35% to villains = 31,760 then downs if less than 15%.
So a 450 hit Hit monkey downs a 450 chasm with less than 43,400 health.
For this character at 450 to also down 450 chasm at 43,400 requires red damage to be 20,111.450 hit monkey downs a 550 chasm with less than 56,920 health.
For this character at 450 to also down 550 chasm at 56,920 requires red damage to be 6,581.
So should be slightly more effective than hit monkey when punching above his weight, depending on red damage figures.Note that the above calculations assume that this character's red works like hit monkey's red and deals the red damage before checking for the % health threshold. The wording of the power is different from hit monkey's and therefore this may not be the case, which would make this red significantly worse than hit monkey's.
IceX are you able to confirm that red powers damages then checks % health threshold to down target?

They don't necessarily have to be the same character, in one of the Q&A some one asked if that was possible to release two different characters and they answered yes, and I believe the example they gave was they were toying with the idea of releasing a 5 star psylocke with 3 star prof x.
So, this could be 5 star superior spider man as the villain and idk, let's say scarlet spider as the 3. It may be madame web 3 star and madame web but she has a symbiote 5 star, they're pushing symbiote right now right?

Guys, it is time to stop playing and nerf Chasm already.
7 -
Yeah. We're back to trying to counter Chasm with his passive AP drain with active counter abilities again. In their strongest color which Chasm will drain first and costing 8 AP, no less.
1 -
That is what I was in about in my post. Hit Monkeys strongest color is purple so at least he has a chance to fit his power.
Kang isn’t helping either one though since there is no damage reduction. We need a character like Wanda with kangs anti drain
2 -
Something like that, yeah. Either way, you need a way to get around the AP drain, a way to get around the immortality and a way to reduce the insane passive damage they dish out. If you want a hardcounter, you need at least 2 of those things in 1 character so you can combine them with a character that has the third and make a reliable pick-2 hardcounter team that mops the floor with Chasm/iHulk. Or ideally just have all three in 1 character for 1 solid hardcounter.
These half measures and soft counter checks aren't getting us anywhere.
