I haven't tested the bugged away interaction between Kang and Chasm/iHulk yet. The dev said the fix will be out in the next release, which is supposed to be this release(?).

Technically a rework to make him function predictably. It was noted in the bugs thread Chasm needed to be rebuilt, not a nerf or a buff but to make sure his ordering fit his description.
I will probably move this to the Chasm nerf thread when I have more time.

I wonder if it fixes Crystal too - although I sort of like that she can keep healing the team even when she is missing.

We don’t really know how away is supposed to work or what the “fix” is other than killing iHulk when Chasm is away. That was the only word we got.
Kang in PvP will not be a problem from what I can see, unless he is partnered with 5witch. She will keep him alive long enough to throw out 1 or 2 blacks and maybe a blue.

@DAZ0273 Now that you mentioned Crystal, she doesn't heal the team while she's away. I suppose Kang can be used to send Chasm away and then down IHulk to win the match.

I got a mixture of losses in the current Kang PvP and it is sort of impossible to work out - some are from god boosted teams and some are from Shang Cheese teams and so I don't know if they cheesed me, Kang'ed me or God'ed me.
So it seems sort'a normal.
I am waiting until next PvP. Then if there is a steady queue of reds featuring under covered Kang or 3* Kang then he becomes potentially tedious already (although obviously not a huge retal problem)

Even after they tried to rework him he was still broken. His kit was not happening at the end of his turn but at the beginning or your opponents turn. So SheThor would destruct tiles then damage from Chasm would resolve. When the additional damage should have resolved before SheThor had the chance to destruct tiles.

There was a dare guy picking chasm, so I practiced a bit.
Chasm only manages to stun at the start of the turn. He can't drain anything, so he took his fair share of nerfed time. At last.
By the way, did I already mention that I'm gonna pull for kang as if there wasn't a tomorrow?0 -

When does Wasp re-work go live? Thursday? Think I might wait on seeing that before I get too carried away with Kang and his, let's be fair, somewhat average to meh store offering. Not like his blue doesn't work already.

My mThor/Iceman team no longer work against Chasm/iHulk. Before this fix and if I had only 3 blue aps, Iceman will turn this three blue aps into cds before Chasm reduces my blue ap. Now, Chasm reduces my blue ap pool which resulted in Iceman being unable to process his blue stun cds.
Also, Deathlok will add ap gains after Chasm reduces them. In the past, Deathlok adds ap before Chasm reduces them.

Did the devs confirm the changes they will make to immortal characters? I am trying to understand how good Kang will be against iHulk/chasm. Will it work to send chasm away and ihulk won't revive and Kang wins?
I am just curious, as it won't really matter, since I am all in on Kang. The next question is...how good is Hit Monkey? Is it worth to oull for Kang now, or wait for something better?

Two questions, that I don’t know have been answered yet.
1) is away working like it’s supposed to with the revive bros yet? (stay down when the other is away)
2) Any plans to change the 5* so he’s NOT getting AP when tiles expire? Could someone ask this in Discord since the devs don’t seem to answer questions here?
I’m itching to pull a lot for Kangers so I have a higher health blue man group, but would like to know if they are going to change the power to match the wording or the wording to match the power.

Right. The 3* says when tiles expire he gets 2 blue. That is working as intended.
The 5* says when countdowns are destroyed he gets 2 blue AP. However, he is getting AP for countdowns expiring. So it is working the way the 3* version is written, not the way the 5* is written.
