I was actually someone's first attack about an hour ago. Went to see who beat me and they had 47 points

It was a -49 I did two matches really fast using patch cmags for +29 and +26 so I am up but not by much. The guy who beat me was running hulk obw, and had no other usable three stars so that battle had to take literally the entire time I was unshielded. Very sour right now. Especially because I still don't think I can stay in top 10 with this.

Wow, that is quite absurd. I've seen around 46 pt matches, but that's got to be 49 or 50 right? That's crazy and they really need to fix it so that doesn't happen. 50 pt matches just shouldn't be happening unless it's like 1100 vs 1900 or something crazy like that.

That has happen alot me lately.. It's quite annoying and stupid cuz the retal is so insignificant.

What, only ONE guy hitting you for over 30 points in the 5 minutes it took you to do 2 quick battles? Count yourself lucky

There is no faster kill than Patch Cmags + boosts so I expect to be untouched for 2 matches. The fact I got hit by someone that low in the bracket by probably one of the slowest kill teams I have seen in a while...

Did I hit you? I could have sworn I skipped u, if not, sorry about that. And I didn't have you queued, but I was doing boosted patch/mags at the end so matches we're only takin me 1-2 minutes.

Yeah, me too. Although my Punisher/cMags team isn't quite as fast as your Patch/cMags team, earlier today I won two 20 point battles against 2* teams in under 5 minutes and coming out of the second one had three losses for -80. It's enraging.

Grabbed the 50 hp and some alliance points, sorry if I hit any forum dwellers as I played the last matches as fast as I could. Now shielded so if you see me, get some retaliation free points.

Something definitely changed for me in matchmaking, the point difference was back in the normal range, with increased number of lower point nodes, compared to last few pvps. I was also attacked waay less. So this one felt more like a tourney from the good old days aside from an insane bracket once again. But I did join as soon as I could just to see what would happen, since don't personally need the covers.

So mmr and matchmaking were a lot better for me this time. Still no 85s though as some people had. Btw was that a temporary glitch or has the mmr been tweaked that much again? Which I wouldn't mind one bit.

wow... been seeing lots like that myself. Even if unshielded less than 5 minutes, lots of hits across the shield, many far below 400 and 500 points. Worst I saw in last event was someone actually clocked me mid match for -47, they had less than 200 points and I was almost to 1k. Royally screws you as the retal is less than 10 points, but they just eat all your dinner, and drink all your booze too.

EDIT: And just heard from one of our transitioning 1*-2 members. They are 1st in their bracket with 602 points.

EDIT2:... just said he was 42nd in the last PvP with 742.

How do these new bracket/MMR changes make any sense at all?

So, is the general consensus that you can't really get 2 wins between shields?

I'm sitting in 3rd atm. 2 wins might get me 1st if WYP is done for the day. 7 pts up on 5th... losing 100pts might put me out of the top 10.

I just got hit 12 times in 2 minutes. I wish that was an exaggeration. Went from 1050 to 787 (topped off with a cascade loss to Fat Thor).

This event is a **** joke. Either 1/1/1 Daken dogpile, or near-maxed Daken creamers. We might as well just have a 2 on 2 tourney.

...can I somehow get switched to that leaderboard?

I've got 851 points right now, which has me at 38th place. Is it weird that I honestly care that much about getting Lazy Thor? I mean I'd love to have him on my roster, but he'd pretty much be useless for me even if I managed to get up to the Top 10 since it would only be 1 Red and 1 Green. As it stands, it'll pretty much just be buying a Roster Spot for him to hang out in until I eventually manage to get 13 covers for him and level him up. He'll join the big group of 3* characters I have that just have a few covers and aren't really good for anything. Main thing I want now is Iso-8 to level up my Wolvie and Ares.

And really looking forward to Season 1 being over. Should make it so the leaderboards aren't this ridiculous. This is actually the highest amount of points I've gotten in a PVP Tournament.

Also, I wish in Team-Up PvP Events, the required character would default on the loaner, and not yours. I kept forgetting to switch them, so I would have a Daken in there that wasn't generating Strike Tiles.

My advice, get as much Lt as you can whenever you can.

One thing this tourney (or is it event?) did, is confirm that daken vs daken matches are still ultra-annoying

I saw bowgentle pop up on the top ten maybe yesterday for the first time... not sure "tiny kitty" appropriately captures my dismay at seeing that surprise so late in the season...
