If the retals are names you recognize try and save them for your shield hop. If they are in one of the top 10 alliances you can look at their score and see if they are worth retaliating against in a couple hours. I have done this many a time with the guys from the top alliances.

Got to 846 and I'm 19 so far, so I'm guessing it'll be good for Top 50 in this bracket. No way I'm pushing to Top 10, that red cover will have to wait.

Also got my 10k progression reward (66% of a 3-hour shield) so I'm pretty much done with season 1.

congrats on getting that 50 HP!! Don't spend it all in the same place now!

And yeah, over 12k. Little incentive to really push, other than hoping to get that red lThor cover finally. But so far as Seasons, all progs long past. That 10k reward won't even pay for one 3 hour shield.

well after falling for a glitch that said i was no longer in an alliance now I am currently working on getting the 95 points I lost from not being on in hours.

I'll most likely shield at the end and rank to where I want to be and get my next purple moonstone cover

Have you (MikeyDollar7) sitting on a node for 43 points. You will be my final push. Unshielding is only safe for a single fight.

Regarding fights against slobofix: I beat him heavily boosted (1+ all AP X3, Blue/Purple damage, All match damage) with Punisher 141 and OBW. A good board is crucial.

This new match making is horrific. I've been shield-hopping ONE fight at a time since I crossed the 950 mark. This PvP has cost me nearly 500HP. A defensive win pushed me over 1100, almost feels like someone did it on purpose as a favour.

Also, decided to join a bracket with my phone and got gently pushed into a bracket where first place has 907 points, second place has 716 and you can make Top 10 with 453 points so yeah, fun times. If I pace myself I think I can make the transition to 3* with my new account first.

Got my 2 boosted matches without any attacks this time (Pun/OBW a little faster than LT/OBW, and enemies were a little weaker too). Re-shielded for the time being at 1052. Finally inching my way to that 1100. Would probably settle for just the red thor so I can finally max him, but I'd hate to come so close and use so much HP shielding for just that 1 cover.

p.s. (again, sorry) - still got your retal pimptastic, so if you're around and can let me know if you're shielded (and 1100+) that'd be great!

p.p.s. - I know it's beating a dead horse, but right after shielding I see my shield was hit for 35+ twice by guys in the 7-800s - I feel like the range for available targets is a little off when this happens way more than regularly. And it's especially bad cause now that I'm 1000+ I have to spend 100s of iso skipping the same guys over and over before finding anyone worth more than 25 pts.

Damn these miracle cascades - two games in a row!

The first time OBW gets herself 12 purple AP in one turn and completely screws me over feeding Thor just enough to get the pain train rolling (OBW died, Daken had 50ish HP and Ares had about 1500 - almost pulled out the win but couldn't get the red/green I needed). Second one, LazyThor gets 23(!) green in one turn and it's all over.

No more healthpacks (and I'll be damned if I'm going to buy any) so 700 looks like about as high as I'm going to get.

a 3 hour shield is usually superior (as in - WAY superior) to 5 healthpacks... and costs only 75 HP in comparison to 200 ;-O

that's good...we certainly wouldn't want you to get the big head or anything. Lol

And nice. Wish my bracket was a little easier. Basically, everyone in top 20 appears to be shield hopping. Anytime anyone is unshielded more than a couple if minutes, their dropping like flies. I've actually watch countless people come into the top ten, obviously trying to climb all the way up, only to see them yo yo completely out of top 10 in an instant.

Gotta frakin' love this new bracket system that is "working as intended".

Hope you feel better. I caught something similar Friday night and felt like the walking dead for first 24hrs and couldn't keep anything down. Felt progressively better after 36hrs and I am done for this event too.

Just made my final push. Got up to 1117. Buffed to max with 3 to red and 2 to all and a red damage boost. 3 games without getting hit. Shielded up for rest of tourney. Interesting to see if 1117 keeps me In 8th or I get pushed out of 10.

I really do feel for all of you that have been hit hard in this pvp. I lucked out and was only hit a few times on my way up to 1100. The feeling of completing a match for a progression reward only to see you've been hit for -80 or more, it's dejecting. I thought about making a push back to first, but reading the horror stories on here has changed my mind.

Hell, I was so paranoid that I thought I'd get attacked in the 5 seconds that I applied a new shield after my 24hr expired.
