OSCORP HEROIC - MAY 8-14

I've sort of given up on trying to get a Daken cover for myself - grinding all the nodes out just to get inside the top 150 seems counter-productive when community scaling is already pushing up some of the nodes well past L100.

On the upside it's been nice having all the featured characters in a usable state for once

Well, all of the nodes are currently Easy and Normal, so they probably wouldn't be too bad. My available units right now, with boosts, are

148 Patch - 1/2/5
125 MN Thor - 3/5/5
110 MN Mags - 4/4/5
90 Cap - 4/5/4
90 MStorm - 5/5/3
45 Psylocke - 0/1/0

The two highest level nodes right now are mid to high 90s. I imagine if I played through all of them now and grinded them down to 1 or 0 points, they'd probably be getting up into the 100s.

Right now, thinking I might just stick to going through every node in the subevent once every 12 hours like I've been doing.

To those who can, why don't we give a nice present to those people with lower rosters - grind up all the points and let community scaling hit those who kept on grinding for points face level 200-400 enemies?

I basically gave up on this one after the cluster which occurred when they had unintended consequences of increasing the points limit on the first sub (hint to Demiurge: next time, just accept the first sub will be finished quick- although part of that is the initial "new event" rush which probably wouldn't have been sustained- and just turn up the limit on the second sub). The uninspiring missions, lack of ISO and lack of ability to catch up have not inspired me to grind it out over further refreshes although I've been doing my bit to keep my Alliance in the top 100.

Props to Demiurge for trying something new with the Heroic by revamping it with these subs and interesting little story descriptions for the nodes, and boosting all the available characters rather than just literally repeating the Prologue version with a restricted unboosted roster, it's just that you seem to be cursed when it comes to the scoring and scaling mechanics of Heroics, they ALWAYS suck.

I started my main bracket about 12-15 hours after the event started (well after the point-recalibration pile-of-small-cats). My main bracket leader is a bit under 21k; my Tower sub leader is right at 6k.

Mm..well, smells like I got F***ed ? My sub leader is @3.5k lol....I am not gonna stress. If I get the covers I get em. Dakan doesn't seem as dominant as he could have been (good) so I am not feeling obligated to lvl him or anything anyway.
Would be nicebut I have a feeling the bracket was taking forever to fill and I got some ppl I'm it who have a whole sub on maybe.

He'd be pretty dominant along with Falcon, though that does use up 2 of your characters. Maybe it's intended to be this way since you'd only have 2 activated abilities between these two guys, which is likely to leave a rather significant hole in your color coverage.

My main leader is at 23k (hello, Dayv of Pax Romana) No amount of sub playing can get anyone else close to him, unless sub points are inflated. Maybe the unlucky ones should indeed just ignore the sub and wait for repeatable main nodes.

1000 behind my main bracket leader, 1600 ahead of #10, so I guess I'll be able to get my 3 Dakens out of this, barring a complete mis-time of the end of Tower (which is possible).
The downside? My Overwatch node is at 150.

I do hope scaling gets reset after this event, else there'll be a riot.

The covers I can understand, but spending that amout of ISO on all of those is... something else.

Just setting aside how much ISO must have been dropped on that lot, how much HP do you have to spend to get that many roster slots? I've only got 34 and they're costing me 450 each....

On the main oscorp page to unlock the sub events there is 8 spots left..........eight!!! With 2 days and 20 hours left....we are on the 2nd sub event and that took 4 main nodes and then 3 more main nodes to unlock the two.

This is a bad joke....we are currently at 163 million out of 400........and the weekend is over aka free time to play which will only make things grind along more slowly.

So when we do hit 400 with 2 days left.....hope we can get to 400 in 20 hours.......are the last eight spots all going to be for the 3rd sub event????!!! When it took 7 for just two??

The game is fun but so many times I feel like I'm playing in a suuuuuper sleazy casino where it's so obvious the house has it rigged in their favor

Ending rant...just I'm picturing the 8 leftover being for two more subs......which we will not get to the 4th not even close

There won't be new subs after Tower, it'll just be repeatable nodes on the main mission screen.

I think the last "sub" is just going to be repeatable nodes in the main for the last ~24 hours of the event. Not sure why you think there have to be 3 or 4 subs since the popups specifically mentioned just city and tower sub-events.

Well and if we don't, so what? That's not really going to change anything, except fewer progression rewards. This seems like a very strange thing to be upset about.

And main is supposed to have repeatable nodes, isn't it? I could imagine the last 8 being just that. Or maybe 3 one-off to unlock the remaining five.

Just got **** by jugg and venom.

I calmed down and ya I see the event talks about only two sub events......so when we get 400 for second time the next 8 main unlock. .....will the 7 red check marked main ones unlock? ? Also I take it that means after second sub rewards only rewards left to get are the main rewards?


I apologize just it was looking like two more subs were coming but playing pattern for getting 400 million and poor game making was going to have us looking and not even getting to the final what I thought would be 4 sub events and I thought that was lame
