    I cant be more agreed.. Veteran players has put time and money into this game to have advanced chars.. But as a reward instead of dominating the game by being at the top of the food chain we are forced to battle each other for **** rewards.. This game has become really tedious.. Each game is 10 mn long and we re forced to use cheesy line up if we want to climb up the charts.. Why is that???

    ****, ****, and more ****. I joined a bracket mid afternoon thinking there would be no hard people in it and I'd be able to get top 10 np. Thought wrong! At first it was just fruzby. Then I saw twysta and I'm thinking "ok scores will go high but there's only two of them." Just checked and I see polkio in the top ten and nemek ranked five above me while I sit at 45th just chillin. (I like to make my runs near the end so as not to spend a ton on shields) If I get top 10 in this bracket I will brag about this forever. But the chances of that happening are almost zilch now. Sigh patch you'll have to stay at one yellow good buddy icon_cry.gif

    Edit: add toxicadam to the list. This is the first time I've seen this many forumites in my bracket.

    This event has been particularly frustrating for me. I haven't been able to progress as well as the past few events. I have enjoyed using Falcon more than expected, but it has been some tough sledding.

    But then you would end up with all the noobs like myself realize we are just cannon fodder for the veterans and decide that incessantly being dominated is not any fun. Then you vets end up just having each other to fight, which is where you are.

    The devs just need to find the happy medium.

    I'm also in that bracket, fortunately I only need about 1000 points for season and no Patch.

    I'm curious, does S.H.I.E.L.D also see 141s from 0 Points onward, and what's your strategy in dealing with that?

    I don't particularly mind a bunch of maxed characters, since it's often 40 points a pop, it's not THAT long before you get to the 900+ point range, where 141s are going to be super common, anyway. I found it to be more of an issue when you would only get opponents directly in your point range, so getting 'stuck' was rather easy. But, now that you can often find opponents with 400+ more points than you, it's not too hard to propel yourself up very quickly while the others in your MMR bubble try to do the same.

    For this tournament for me, it was probably maxed OBW/Punishers until around 850ish, and then OBW replaced after that.

    They did, back before kyipgate!

    Once vets got above like 700, they had the 141s we see now, and were pretty much out of the hair of the 2* people

    I actually only lost net 28 points overnight (three attacks, a win for 22 and two losses for a combined 50) while sitting just below 600, so that's ok.
    I'm curious how the climb will be this afternoon.

    My MMR must be in a really weird place...

    I'm only ever seeing MNThor/OBW teams (with the odd Wolverine/Thor for variety) in my nodes but I'm constantly getting pounded by maxed 3* teams. I wouldn't mind but when my highest character is a L102 Punisher it makes it hard to fight back so I've got this constant uphill struggle from about 200 points on.

    I just couldn't find any targets over 22 points, so... shield and wait.

    I just joined and I finish my first match to see that I must have gotten the tail end of beezer's bracket as there are ppl in the 900 range already. Baah. Care more about the 1300 reward than the 1st reward...I care so little about patch #30 that I could get 11th with 1.3k and I wouldn't bat an eyelash. Surprised, but I would hardly care. That said, if ppl want to surrender first to me, then feel free lol. Time for the arduous climb.

    Lost my driver's license so I am already grumpy. If you could teabag in this game I probably would be doing so as often as possible right now. Closest equivalent is using Bagman..teabagman. of course its 141 from the start so..YAY...no teabagman.

    Seriously though, either they secretly change show they match ppl to tournements, I am just getting unlucky recently, or there are just so many high lvl players now that its impossible to get a clean bracket. The last one is certainly part of it...its just a matter of if #1 or #2 is too.

    God, got a death bracket for the first time in a long time. I came in with 42 points for my first match and was in 430th place. I see (so far) beezer from shield, a 5DV with max level falcon, soenottelling (my rival from my season bracket) and a ton of other names from top alliances. This is going to suck! Why did you guys slack off so much and join late! icon_e_sad.gif I even looked on the leader boards to make sure shield had all members entered but it seems these brackets are super slow filling... So much for my extra 1st place iso. icon_mad.gif

    EDIT: DAMMIT SOE! lol

    i'm looking for 1300 and 1st (hopefully)... trying to get my 4 stars finished, and that'd leave me 3 away from 20/20 (only day 102, so long wait for the free ones, but that's fine). I need the patches too.

    Great, top 9 in my bracket are already shielded, cutoff for top 10 is 766. With almost 24 hours to go.

    Ok add nomistake and 000noob000 in my bracket too.. are we sure brackets are still time based? because I find this very hard to believe. Maybe this is why it doesn't list total players on the PVP brackets anymore... ::conspiracy hat:: Anyone tried to enter with a main account and some secondary noob account? or maybe two alliance members join at the same time?

    Literally went over a half an hour in a Daken (AI) vs Falcon (me) battle before finally giving up.....never had him down past 1100, and finally the greens started showing up and was around 2600 - 350.

    Suddenly facing OBW/Thor isn't so unappealing anymore.....

    I know right? Lol. If beezer is here, what time did you join your bracket? Of course, ALL my matches are worth 40+... So we are talking 25 matches or so to reach 1k. That's what...maybe an hour or two tops of playing?

    Side note: did you COUNT the number of members with scores? Because I noteiced that now it only gives you the -- to indicate they haven't joined if its your own alliance now. Instead, it just doesn't have them show up. So, for example, earlier today there were only 11-12 members of shield according go the bracket info.
