    Possibly why it wasn't designed until after the invention of high-speed, eh? Good thing no one tried it with morse code, either. Or smoke signals, for that matter.

    I don't know about that. I'll never turn them back on to find out lol

    I tested it using Carnage and Medusa. The match felt super fast like the boss battle with Kaelious from Strangers PvE. I turned the animations back on.. seemed the same always.. but idk if the match is actually faster or it just seems faster. Need to do my testing but def a solid change to end the year

    Wow.  This should shorten the time it takes to complete Gambit nodes by half!  So awesome!

    Hmmm... need to re-assess my grind start-time for Simulator now.

    PvP by smoke signals could be fun or maybe use the clacks!

    I wish the snow fell during matches...

    I also wish they hadn't totally messed up the UI proportions on iPhone X in this release.  It's so tiny now.  So much negative space.

    I've personally always liked the animations, and with the new advent of tapping, turning them off doesn't necessarily make my t10 spot any safer. PVP on shield hops definitely, but otherwise I rather enjoy Red Hulk looking like someone just made him drop his ice cream. 

    And if you tell me you're not gonna miss Cyke's butt, you're a filthy liar!!!

    I played matches with animations still on and off after updating and I didn't feel like the actual matchmaking was faster, but the lack of animations makes a BIG difference. (iOS)

    The end of turn transition seems faster regardless. Too fast, even. It's almost jarring.

    There were some people who were worried that the pause would still be there, even when the animations were disabled.

    Is the game suppose to be in like windows mode on Iphone x? Its really annoying...hopefully there's an option to turn this off.
