The other character I hate you didn’t mention is Sentry. To me Rags, Sentry and Gambit are bottom 3 with Colossus in the same bottom tier. Ock a tier above and Shulk two tiers above.
So you inherently hate any character with self-harm foregoing any kind of logic, ok then.

Ragnarok is awesome. He goes with Riri like peanut butter and jelly. Being part of a winfinite combo is bottom tier now?

How is it foregoing logic to not want to play with characters who do harm to their own team?  When there are as many playable characters as there are in this game, who would ever prefer to use a character that hurts their own team?  That's just silly.  Unless you're running Cardusa or something, there's probably a comparable option that DOESN'T do team damage.

Thanos is probably another exception, but there are specific reasons for that.

I am guessing that Thanos is the most popular PVE toon in the game. #teamdamage

Beat me to my edit, but yes, Thanos is the other exception. But there are very specific reasons for that exception.

Team damage can be used in a variety of way, several characters now either benefit from it or get special triggers.

    True healers dont care either.

Just champed my 5* Gambit today.

So please proceed with your nerf, D3. I realize I was the holdup.

I don't want Gambit nerfed. My only 5* champions are StarLord and Gambit. I've got Archangel at 12 covers and Thor at 10. Thanos at 10 too, but that will take longer.

I want to play with my dual 5* champions and have fun!

I'm afraid a nerf will be over done and it will take away my fun.

I am not competitive in this game, like many of you speaking out against Gambit. I realize my opinion is not popular in this thread.

I still want my voice to be heard.
I agree with you, Beer40.  I didn't want him "nerfed" in the first place.  I really enjoyed having my single-cover 5* Gambit with just the one power feeding either 2* Magneto or 3* Falcon.  That was a terrific and really fun combo and I enjoyed sending them through PVE.  I've only faced this "nerfed" Gambit once, in Simulator rather than in PVP, and about the only nice thing about dealing with the headache was that the Prof X on the computer team couldn't purple-port himself away.

There aren't a ton of true healers, and the ones that are fall into the category of generally preferable to bringing team damagers.

I'm not saying they are useless, but I do object to the idea that there's no logic in avoiding damaging your own team as a general rule. It's not good to help the enemy, and it absolutely is a drawback, especially when there are 150 other options.

I don’t understand why every buff/nerf has to be extreme. Why not do it mmo style and make small changes over time until it is where you want it?

start by removing the ap destruction on gambit for a season.

not good enough? Lower health next season.

not good enough? Make black a repeater tile passive

    etc.

Stop being reasonable!  We don't do that here.

    i agree!

the 1st 2 nerfs will make gambit pretty managable i think.  especially if the 2nd nerf puts his health same as dr strange

Agree 100%. I’ve been saying this since the start.
give him the exact same health as Dr. strange, remove the AP drain and make black a 2-turn repeater tile passive and BAM! best fix yet and he’s still top tier with the best red and purple in the entire game . Great rebalance

I sold my gambit.  Not quitting the game just yet.  But I refuse to be a part of its demise while I am still playing.  He’s s a broke joke and I honestly don’t understand how so many don’t see the issues with him and how it effects the life of the game.  But I’m done arguing about it and just gonna do my gambitless thang!!! Limited and hitting walls is better than conforming to this “new meta”. And honestly I don’t see where they are looking at this thread.  I honestly wonder do they even read anything on the forum at all anymore?
I see a 451 Gambit on your roster. CS restore? Or rechamped? If you rechamped him it must have taken considerable resources to do so

Heck, let Dr Strange and Gambit trade health.

That would be the best and quickest fix I’ve said since day one. Let those 2 trade health if not even give gambit lower Health then strange. Gambits power set is light years ahead of anyone and so ridiculously overpowered for a average guy who just throws cards.

His health is higher then silver surfers which makes zero sense. Surfer should have thanos level health (on par with cosmic space gods ) and gambit should have dr strange or less hp.

He doesn't need a nerf! Why would they redo again, and give the players that have 2 level 550 Gambits like 50 more 5* Tokens. His biggest weakness is being stunned, which can easily be done by Iceman, Strange, Peggy. He even counters himself. So he doesn't need another nerf.
