    If I'm not mistaken, it also forces the MMR algorithm to check with the server which helps break endless loops of only being able to load up the same opponents.  I'm not positive, but it appears to work like that.  Sure, you can also force-close and reopen the game, but retreating with a team of scrubs is quicker.

    Honestly I wish I could put up a weaker team for defense so I could get hit MORE.  Once you win a few rounds the view never changes and PvP gets very boring.  Game is a lot more interesting when you face different opponents each round.

    Also lower shield levels shouldn't give the same wins for season as high levels as they become choked with 5*s doing their 133 wins at shield level 1 which defeats the purpose of having shield levels.  Not sure how you solve that but "bullying" new players isn't good for anyone.

    I was under the impression that if I beat you with a 4* team, then win another match with a 2/3* team, that the 4* team will still be left on defense as it is stronger.

    It all depends.  There are a lot of factors that do into this. Total health, star level, etc.

    Look, I learned how to IV breed and EV train Pokémon back in the day, and THAT IS IT. That is all the dorky room I have in my brain for video game intricacies. When it comes to this match-3 cell phone game, I have “see team; beat team” and that is all I have the time and patience for. All this MMR and shield hopping and what-have-yous is above my pay grade. This is a game, not my career. :smile: 40 wins? Boom, got that. Let’s go. 
    This is 100% spot on. I've said previously that I do feel bad for the people that don't get the 15cp anymore for 1200 cause i can see why its harder for those 5* rosters. But I have no love for the people that feel like they are entitled. I mean come on, the name of this thread kind of sounds like that somebody is mad and that we lesser rosters should feel bad. But actually, club away. More blood in the ocean, my loss by you "sharks/whales" is my gain, and your gain too (pride) cause now I can queue up easier fights. Love me 10 4* per season and the full season progression.
