Our feedback seems less like “factored in” and more like completely ignored.
@Brigby Please post required win progression values ASAP. If it’s anything like what was tested before... I’m done with PVP. With the horrendous 5* pve cl9 node, to the required 5 clear for progression, to the lack of any Level above 125, to the new paywall event system, this is the worst the game has been since I started playing so long ago. It’s like watching Rome crumble.5 -

This system is bad because it's 40 wins for everyone, but 40 wins is not the same for everyone.
Its not the same for 3* rosters, or 4* rosters or 5* rosters. Health goes up exponentionally and matches are much much longer in upper tiers, this is just incredibly stupid to not factor this in.

I don't understand the logic behind this PvP decision. You're taking away 15 CP from veterans who get to 1200 consistently but don't reach top 10, and giving it to whom? CL6 and CL7 players that frankly don't deserve the 15 CP. In the slice I play, I can get to 1500+ and barely make top 25. Now I'm supposed to try to get top 10 for the only reward that I care about? I don't give a **** about some dumb 4* cover! I need CP! So now we have to sandbag down in CL6 and CL7 to try to get a top 10 spot, since we can't compete with the whales in CL8? Why?
All of the goodwill from Anniversary wiped away in one incredibly shortsighted decision. For the love of God, give a developer a 5* roster so you guys can finally do some testing at the highest level! Then you'll see that this will piss off a lot of your vets that spend quite a bit of money on this game. I can't believe how stupid of a move this is.22 -
Well thanks to this change I'll probably retire from playing PvP so I guess it's a good thing. Hours saved from my playtime to pursue other interests.4

I wasn't thrilled with where the progression rewards were placed in the win system on previous tests, but as someone that only plays for the progression rewards and has neither the time or energy for placement, I do greatly prefer the wins-based system over the points-based system. Really, I just don't want to move further away from my goal due to being attacked — if I'm trying to get to 900 points from 800, for instance, I don't want it to take 10+ matches due to back and forth, nor do I want to get to 870, need to put the game down for 30 minutes, and then find I'm back down to 475. That's a horrible way to achieve progression.6

I really hope you lowered the required wins. It may be a good thing if I quit playing after almost 4 years, but the ironic part is after asking for gambit the whole time when we finally get him you completely crush what was left of pvp! Haha what a sick joke! Well played devs! well played!7

For ragin Cajun PvP I jumped into s1 with 8 hours to go. Climbed to 1276 in about 1.5 hours (early morning watching TV when I had nothing to do) used a single 8 hour shield and I did buy 5 health packs.
It was easy, fun, on my own schedule, and a little nail biting as I neared 1200(extra fun).
I'm sure you won't revert back. So I just want you to know that I'm extremely happy I never once bought VIP and only threw you guys two $20s years ago. You don't deserve my cash.
Now I'll have to play more and just make it a completely mindless grindfest.

People who like this don't realise they are actually taking rewards away from everyone and it's just stupid to put the cp in t10 only placement. The scores will be pushed up even higher now.
Plus alot of the big roosters are going to spend more time beating up on lower rosters so enjoy
I think the people who like this are the people who struggle with the climb from 700 to 900. I'd rather play extra battles than worry about shield hopping to get the 4*.
I think they should have released SL9 for PVP at the same time, and give the CP to the t50 there. It's not that much of a stretch, considering PVE CL9 gives 4* to t50.
i will concede that it is removing 15 cp from my future self that could hit 1200 (for openness i hit my first 1200 in this past off season) in those future events is pretty sucky. but i still think that this is best for the long term health of the game.
don't believe me? you have your roster in your signature. 46 champed 3*, 41 champed 4*, and four champed 5*.
now go create an all new account. Knowing what you know, with your alliance connections, knowledge of good versus bad characters, how and when to hoard which tokens and any other little tidbit that would give you a leg up on another new player. under the current system, how long until you have a comparable roster? how long would it take for someone without your insight?
now try to tell me with a straight face that a new person can't get there a little bit quicker just by grinding out 40 wins an event and getting all those 4* that much quicker.
again, i am in the same boat, so it sucks. but looking at the big picture? i just shrug my shoulders and play my matches, and get 4* cover and stop.0 -

If a 4* cover that used to be at 900 translates to 40 wins, just how many are they going to expect us to grind through in a Shield Simulator that used to go up to 2000?

This is a great update for most of the player base however for those with champed pvp 5's it's not good.
I don't mind it but I can understand why those that could join with less than a day left and get to 1200 are upset now.
I think the mmr should be turned off now however in slices 6 and above. No reason to protect people that can play at there own pace.9 -

unfortunately, knowing them as we do, i doubt that will happen.1 -
Fury - seems to be stronger, but far from being comparable to new 4*s
Psylocke - stronger but still, wont use her (as 90% of 3*s)
Win based progression... well, now in PvP i was always aiming at 15CP.. that took me over an hour to achieve with 10-20 wins. Win based progression makes getting 4* possible (before it was impossible to get above 800pts and dont drop down) but the amount of wins... i dunno. I will do some math, but i think this feature is much more time consuming... especialy SHIELD may be...0 -
I play in champed 5* land, and yes this new system is worse for some in this tier, but I think it's an okay change overall. It takes more matches, but I can spread them out more now and the change helps lower rosters, so I'm happy about those two effects.
People are forgetting the meta. Top players all piled into the same slices in order to bounce off each other to get higher alliance scores and let others have an easier time getting to 1200. That's why the CP at top 10 sounds bad. But people will adjust and spread out to more natural time slices, thereby spreading out the top rosters again.
They said that giving CP to the top 10 gives out more CP than at 1200. I don't have a reason to doubt this.
During the two tests, instead of playing in slice 4 to climb easier, I played in slice 5, which is more natural for me. I played a bit more relaxed and stopped at 40 wins. Got passed 1200 in one, and just below 1200 in the other. But it was easily top 10 in both because people are more spread out.
People will eventually adjust. Some are just slower than others.6 -
Wish they would've gone for a hybrid approach where progression rewards were awarded the first time you reach a given threshold, like:
16 wins OR 575 pts : 10cp
28 wins OR 800 pts : 3* cover
40 wins OR 900 pts : 4* cover
1200pts : 15cp
Would've been best of both worlds ...
