There is no doubt it costs a pretty penny to max a 4* but I think we are getting to the point of if you see a maxed 4* it isn't completely unreasonable and automatically a cheater anymore. A maxed 4* is roughly 2.5 maxed 3*s and plenty of people have that.

That being said, more power to you WYP, my IW isn't getting anywhere close anytime soon.

My guess is at least the next release, since it was mentioned as a separate thread but not in R51 patch notes.

This thread is an effective case-study towards the hypothesis that envy is an effective motivator. Perhaps less-so than bacon, but still highly effective at promoting risk-engagement.

I am staring at a level 212 x-force in the Punisher pvp. This person has him, a maxed punisher, and a maxed Spidey...after that they have a bunch of characters in the 50's. Oddest roster I've ever seen and I'm going to beat them just because.

If X-Force ever gets his buff, that guy is going to be sitting pretty. Until then, that's just painful to think about.

As an update to this, we're looking to insert our newest 4* character as a special Alliance Only prize for Season 1. The current design is that we'll release only one cover for this character across all the Alliance ranks, so that this release is more of a teaser for that character and not a full on release, especially since the hugely vast majority of users couldn't use a 4* to a large advantage anyway. This isn't finalized, but I wouldn't be surprised if you see this new character premiering soon.

The character totally doesn't suck, is a lot of fun to use, and is definitely Legendary when it comes to their preparations and effects on and off the field of battle.

Nope, sorry. Not Rocket Raccoon. The current storyline still runs terrestrial with not much cosmic influences. And the reference to preparations is for the actual Marvel character who tends to strategize before (and after) the battle itself. Abilities are still in-battle only.
