    2000 ISO and 25 HP for 3 videos (thus far) today. Meh. I won't do it every day, but when I'm in no hurry, why not I guess.

    I am currently okay with wanting to see the optional ads for rewards. Unfortunately, my muscle memory has me pressing near the middle of the buttons right now and that is registering as the "skip ad" choice. Should right itself after a few days, but still an issue for now.

    Total of one Heroic token, 2K ISO, and 110 HP over 4 views. Considering I'm not a grinder and losing that playing time to a video (that I let play while I go take a leak, feed the cats, swap the laundry, whatever) which gives me some little rewards here-and-there, I'm fine with it.

    If they can not implement this for Steam, I understand but in that event they should allow Steam users the option of cross-platform play. Especially if the Steam crowd is as small as everyone says it is. Cheap and easy fix.

    I'm a VIP and am still being required to watch the ads. Anyone else having this issue?

    I'm not getting intercepts at all now. Played all of DDQ and few PvE nodes and not one intercept. Maybe they've turned them off until they can fix whatever is throwing up the error some are seeing?

    eta: played another node and got one so that's not it.

    Of the 12 or so Shield Intercepts I've received yesterday and today, only two actually played the video. Both were 30-second ads for Mobile Strike game, if it makes a difference. The rest all went to an error screen.

    FWIW, one time I received the error message was when I won the LT in DDQ. After closing out the error message, I did have an additional LT in my tokens, so it looks like you do still get the base reward, even if the extra Intercept award bugs out.

    They are not bugged. There just no video for you to show. So you watch nothing gain nothing and receive error. Before I bought VIP only first two ads give me reward (all others were errors). After VIP...well i got 170 HP(1 - 100 HP reward, 1 - 20 HP and 5 - 10 HP) , 1 Hero Token, 2000 ISO(1000+1000)...and all that without watching any ad and doing everyday stuff in game stuff...

    Got one interrupt, got an error and failed to play,no reward. I was actually looking forward to this feature for some bonus stuff. Once again, no QA and a failed feature.

    Ah, ok. That makes some sense. That probably means they're just still tweaking the amount of ads sold vs amount of viewing opportunities that will pop up/be claimed during normal play.

    More errors, after it worked with no issues yesterday afternoon. Today been offered 3 intercepts playing through DDQ, only 1 worked, others are errors.

    So that change once you went VIP could be explained if the ad buyers are allowed to specify that they want their ads targeted at "players who have recently spent money on mobile games." There might just not be any (or as many) ads sold that could target FTP players, so we'd just keep getting the errors.

    If cross-platform was so cheap and easy, it would be a lot more common. Cross-platform from what I understand is actually rather difficult.

    for crying out loud... you already screw us over with facebook stuff.
    now you screw us over with this.

    allow me to change my damn account to a mobile device freely so I can collect this stuff too, or at least give me part of it.

    I rather don't enjoy being screwed over just because my account is on steam and I don't want to start over on day 1 after 1k days of playing on steam -_-


    really annoyed I just renewed VIP right now to support you, because I really don't feel like supporting you right now -_-

    This will have to be an "agree to disagree" scenario for me, which is fine -- I know that players like me are the minority, so I didn't expect many to empathize. I just wanted to represent my viewpoint.

    That said, I find a buffet analogy ironic; I don't think any vet believes that ISO is in such ample supply that passing up "free" ISO can be done regularly. How many threads have there been about ISO shortages, players wanting double-ISO events, ISO being overpriced in the store, etc.?

    After experiencing the ads in DDQ a few times this morning, I have some observations:

    1. The videos pause if your screen turns off and resume when the screen re-activates. If I'm presented with a 2 minute Wonder Woman ad, this means that I have to keep my screen active for its entirety; there's no "walking away and coming back with free ISO" like others have believed they could do.

    2. I would have preferred that the videos are played when the app is launched, rather than disrupting the gaming experience. As annoying as it might be, I'd rather sit through 5 minutes of ads up front, rather than having my gaming experience be interrupted. As it is, the gaming experience feels cheapened.

    3. I am all for incentivizing players to pay for a more positive experience like extra rewards, faster healing, etc. But this new perk of VIP incentivizes you to pay to avoid a negative experience. Do other players really think that's OK?

    This new feature sounds really great. In theory. So far today, I've received the SHIELD Intercept 17 times.

    14 : 10 hp
    1 : 25 hp
    2 : 1k iso

    Don't get me wrong. I really like the Intercept feature. I just hope I can get something other than 10 hp in the future.

    Either way, free stuff icon_e_biggrin.gif , so, yay! An extra 200(ish) hp a day is still good.

    So, Thank You Demiurge. Another great addition to a great game. Keep it up.

    If they can't even drop a word to acknowledge the issue (cough Boss Rush) then I'm going to let my VIP lapse and cease with all the other money I was spending.

    If they want to force steam players out, then that's fine, just be up front about it. Why do we have to get neglected until we quit? If they mean to quit supporting steam, just say so. I'll quit right now. I play on steam because I don't want to stare at my tiny phone for 4 hours a day and I wont do it.
