    So I got a couple thousand ISO and 20 HP after one clear in PVE. This will become interesting on new release PVE so I watch the video or do I continue my grind.

    Now what are the devs going to do to reward PVP players more??

    So far thumbs up for this update.

    I understand the fear of some that introducing ads is a slippery slope. For me, someone who's not going for high placement anymore, this is great. The rewards are pretty good. I might feel differently when VIP runs out, but I always play the ads in other games for little extras. 30 seconds (when you're not in a rush) is no biggie and a few k more ISO, some HP etc is sorely needed.

    I do feel for the Steamers. I would guess that platform controls things more than the usual mobile and that restricts what they can include. It would be nice if they could think of some equivalent way to get them access to ways earn rewards, too.

    I'm pretty happy with the way it has worked out so far for me - in doing a single clear of the Deadpool PvE (including essentials), I managed to earn through the ad-supported signal intercepts:
    1000 ISO-8
    165HP
    1 heroic token

    It sucks this is not available for Steam players.

    As a heads-up, this can also trigger from Prologue nodes, so if you have some unfinished business with the Dark Avengers this is a good incentive to wrassle up all of those 1-star Storm and Ironman covers.

    I was greatly amused that one of my ads was for Vaseline (did anyone else get that one?) I imagine anyone getting that ad after a 80k+HP Sentry node might be thinking "Yeh, I could use some of that!"

    So I'm not seeing the ads. I don't remember the last time I bought anything in the game with real money, but it's definitely been a few weeks.

    I think the ads skulls be permanently disabled if you ever make a purchase. It's really gonna bum me out to see ads in this game.

    Yeah, I'll be curious to see how a handful of infrequent $20's over three plus years will keep me going. I did just spend during Vault of Horrors because, well, the various game features since the last time I spent have really done a lot for the pace of my progress and wanted to support that, but I wonder if it'll be a timed thing or like $20 gets you two months like VIP does.

    I'd be curious to add up the sort of average of 20 pulls a day and add it to VIP and see if that changes the value proposition any. Probably not.

    For everyone complaining about this (aside from Steam complaints), just hit the Claim button and don't push Watch Video. Problem solved.

    For you Steam guys,.. damn. It sucks to be missing out on free stuff, especially if you're a VIP. It's basically like you guys are in a currency zone that is devalued compared to mobile currency (CA$ vs US$, or US$ vs Euro). You pay the same monthly fee for VIP, but the return value is diminished. Potential is there for it to be more like Mexican Peso vs Euro though, pretty nice rewards per day. European Steam VIP users will have it the worst since their monthly 10E gets them the least amount as a cost per currency. Still, I think Demi will make it right, just like they have lately with other bugs (Strange tokens, etc.) This is a pretty big discrepancy between platforms.

    In an hour I got 3 heroic tokens and 25 HP. Not bad for doing nothing, since I am a VIP user. The way I see it, advertising is a necessary evil in mobile gaming. If it's gotta be there, might as well get something out of it.

    Can I make one suggestion to this? It is easy enough to skip the ad, but if you accidentally press it, you're locked in. I have seen other games give you a 'skip' button during the ad that allows you to cancel viewing and skip the bonus reward. Can something like that be implemented?

    Just racked up 45 HP and 1000 ISO doing a couple clears in Deadpools event icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Since I was watching Monday Night Football in the background it was a no-brainer to claim all rewards and simply put down my phone for 20 seconds and pay attention to the football game and then grab my phone and resume playing once the ad was complete.

    I'll probably skip claiming rewards during other times when I don't have something else going on in the background. My ad's were all for other mobile games / software to install.

    The only time I will be able to do this is during DDQ. All pve events I'm grinding for t10 so I can't waste the time watching ads. -.-

    Same here! Except for this one, the rare beginning of day 2 on a 48 hour sub, not likely your timers are close enough apart that watching a 30 sec video will cause you to lose a few points (if so, you must be QuickSilver!!!).

    If they brought back account linking between STEAM and facebook this could all be over.....they used to have it, shut it down due to some error, why not fix that and roll it out.....everyone would be happy.

    Also glad to see the support from non-STEAM players because, quite frankly, I've spent hundreds on the game (in just the past 10 months) and it just makes me sad to see that the reason I found the game is also why I'm bring stiffed...

    And I mean, I'd honestly pay to get my data transferred to my phone since its so convenient....but it'll probably never happen.....

    I am on a bit of a forced break from the game at the moment. I have to say this change probably decreases the chance of me coming back eventually. Ads are annoying even if they are not mandatory.

    I started playing this game and not others because this one was not containing adds.
    Sure, free hp is fine by me. But adds... Hell no.

    Good for VIP. Whatever for non-VIP. And problem is not that ads are not skippable. the problem is that there is limited amount of ads that you can watch. With VIP there is no limit because you don't need to watch the ad. But without VIP there is often no video available and you just see the Error (no free CP/HP/ISO/Tokens for you).
    Have just purchased VIP just for this extras (+50 HP per day - not bad i must say)

    If the get rid og this ad or make them less frequent - sure i will cancel the VIP=) The initial bonuses are not worth it

    An optional short ad for a reward that is sometimes worth half an hour of grinding? Sure, count me in! icon_e_smile.gif Seeing an errer message time and time again is super frustrating though given that could be your 100 HP glitching away frim your grasp.
