I finished about 235,009 or so. Was at 49 when I got to work and didn't get another chance and slipped out of the top 50. About to out a lot of time into fearless defenders. Think I'll avoid many attackers with BP, hulk and 2* Thor.

I actually got all my individual rewards but not the alliance ones for simulator basics to this point.

Argh, work took a bit longer than I expected, and I ended up missing the number 2 spot in my Simulator overall standings by 300 points or so. Good thing I didn't really need the yellow IW. And the upside is that I got a Doc Doom cover from one of my heroic tokens, and used the event to got Punisher maxed out to level 141, so that's good!

Great showing in the event indeed, gang. Looking forward to that blue Lazycap. Wonder if we'll get a pvp featuring him when Fearless Defenders is done. Will probably field a Spidey/Punisher/OBW team for that.

Underestimated my competition in the sub events this morning and broke my streak of top 2 finishes; should have finished top 2 in easy mode as I was 600 points up on #3 with a minute to go, but was 200 points back of #2. I tried a trick strategy* to sneak in there with a quick win but stupid Bag Man wouldn't cooperate. Ah well, I'll have to practice that for next time, and possibly do some leveling up to make the numbers work; at least the award for this one was heroic tokens, which I care less about than the event tokens.

I didn't check at the end but I'm pretty sure I ended up #1 in my main; I cleared 250k with about an hour to spare. I don't know what I ended up at but I'm guessing it was somewhere in the 270-280k range.

Another question: Does anybody stronlgy use Black Panther? I still have quite some ISO/HP and am wondering whether I should level him next (mainly due to black AoE, blue and yellow seem not too strong, but there are not too many offensive alternatives on these colors). If so, which characters are you playing with him?

I have BP at 141 and the only cover I use is Black. At max lv he does 3100 AoE. He also has over 7k HP so all around a great support piece for magneto/Thor who I use as my mains. The other black DD rare I use is Psylocke when BP isn't available.

I landed top 50 in the overall Captain event, good for red, yellow and blue. Overall super happy to be a part of the alliance! Keep up the good work team

I think I ended up at 260-270K in the simulator event. Was at #4 in my bracket before heading off to my morning meetings but it seems like I ended up out of top 10. Those last few hours see a lot of play… Just checked though and I have not gotten the Blue cover yet (just the Red and Yellow individual covers). Hopefully they are just being a bit slow.

Looking forward to trying out the Fearless Defenders event as the simulator event let me get the ISO to level my first 141 character (Patch) so I am interested in taking him out for a spin.

I agree, BP is solid for his black and health alone. Slarti, who else are you considering putting your resources into?

I ended up at 262k for the Simulator.

With all the sub, event, and alliance awards, that pretty much all but pays the 500 HP for Mr. Roger's roster slot.

Early indication from the Character Forum is that Mr. Rogers is likely quite beastly at 141. Rumors of 3-3.5k with red with AP return are already abound in addition to 7k-ish health.

In regard to BP, I just can't find any love for him. I strongly prefer Psylocke's black to BP's, from a personal perspective. He was only used in the Simulator when I was struggling to find **someone** that could use black on the team when Psylocke needed a health break.

Happy though that Hulk black is the alliance's future in the current Fearless Defenders tourney. Hulk black is one my white whales, so any covers there is a boon.

I was in the top 2 a few hours out, but ended up just out of the Top 10. Work got the better of me and it seems like people in my bracket were grinding down to the last minute. Happy with how the alliance did, good work everyone. On another positive note, 2 of my last 3 heroic tokens were BWGS and some how I got a Psyclocke out of standard token. Makes up for the 20 Hawkeyes and Bullseyes I got last week.

I'm not sold on Captain yet. Even if his red is 3500 damage, he's still going to be sloooooww; sure, once you get the AP, doing 3k and stunning every third turn is nice, but it''ll take a while to get there, and you can easily be disrupted by AP steal. An OBW team will probably eat you for lunch (although with his health, it'll be a long meal).

Cap + 5/5/1 IM40 or 5/5/2 might be really good, but I'll need to playtest. And they'll be way worse on defense (AI might go for Cap yellow, might place countdowns in bad places).

The rewards finally popped. Great job everyone. I was very happy to pull a Psylocke's and hulk from the heroics I got to leave me one cover short of finishing hulk, CMags, BP, doom and daredevil. Couldn't care less about DD though as he's too luck reliant. Hoping to get that last black hulk from fearless defenders.

I have a leveling question... I saved up 30K ISO from the Simulator, need to figure out who to spend on. Been running a team of lvl 85 Ares 4/5/4, lvl 85 CStorm 5/5/3 and lvl 77 OBW 3/5/4 (missing 1 black cover). Who should I dump into:

Lvl 65 Patch 4/3/5
Lvl 51 Pun 5/4/2

I'm leaning towards Patch. But once my pun has more red covers, I know I will want him. My other 3 star stud characters (mags, spidey, hood, etc) have around 8 covers each so not considering leveling at the moment.

I'm personally a Patch over Punisher guy. For me the regen, more powerful strike tiles, and red nuke are way better than anything Punisher brings to the table. But then I often pair him with CMags or Hulk, and you really want a 4-5 blue CMags or 4-5 black Hulk to make that work.

Punisher is a safer, but less powerful, option.

Thanks for your comments om BP - I am also not sure whether I will really like him but thought that it could change if he becomes stronger. Therefore I will probably wait some time and see who is buffed in next PVE (:

Regarding patch/punisher I would probably go with punisher as long as you have no strong spidey stuns (his green is very strong and less risky). However now I prefer patch.
But clearly both are very strong and worth leveling!

Concur with Mischiefmaker. Patches healing and strike tiles are soooo good when paired with spidey who stun locks. Although, I also have love for Punisher, but he doesn't get to be amazing until higher levels / covers.

If you don't have C mags or Spidey leveled, I'd say they are the best investment atm

Mischief -- Have you talked to everyone in the alliance?

I'm thinking everyone in the alliance should have a forum presence to some extent. Some of the names in the alliance are still unfamiliar to me.

I think almost everyone should have the same forum handle as their in-game name, with the following exceptions:

UnknownXuid, Gc37, Ailile, SeethingFury: people either Lyrian or I know IRL
Shime: joined way back when we were still a public alliance. Seems to have been pulling his weight so far, but I don't otherwise have any attachment to him.

Everyone else you should feel free to PM and say hello, and maybe see if they want come join in the discussion.

i agree. So i guess it is my turn to say hello

been quite busy the last few days, work, family stuff and really nice weather here..

the simulator did not turn out too well for me.. i only just got over 200k points and ended up in 150th place. thank god for the blue alliance one ^^

I agree. Since one of the main goals of this alliance is to share ideas and strategies it would be great for the team to be engaged on the forums. People don't need to be on here religiously (I realize we all have lives outside of our drug addiction known as MPQ), but having some presence, even if minimal, is good.

On a somewhat related noted, anyone know if you can change your in-game name?
