Just registered an account on this board so that I could try to join your alliance, but I can't PM you yet, Fluffyudders.

Anyways, Been playing since close to the start, and I have not spent any money on the game. In game username is Soam.

Just threw up a shield in fearless defenders at 655 points in 6th place. I'll see how it hold for a red hulk cover. Used a team of obw, 2* Thor and m storm.

Started leveling patch for the best there is. Could've used the iso I burned in the simulator. At least I can play the unstable iso-8 pve thanks to everyone else.

I finished 704 in fearless defenders without shielding in the final match but still only top 25, to bad my hulk green is already full. Oh well got 500 iso from the green cover, and a much needed 100 Hp plus 2500 iso for the top 25 finish.

Tough bracket quadiak. I finished with 630 in Fearless Defenders which was just enough for top ten.

Patch and OBW are killer in Unstable ISO. Against those goons, you don't even have to worry about giving strike tiles to enemies. And OBW is there to raise the countdown timers.

I threw up a shield with just over 2 hrs to go with 674. I was in 5th, and managed to hang on for a Red hulk cover. Would've been nice if the black was the other cover as I already have 5 green (can't believe I had to sell a 3* cover!)

Hopefully with some new guys we can potentially get to the Top100 in PvP alliances down the road. Looking forward to meeting the new F2P Veterans.

Thanks Lazer, ya I know its crazy, basically the top 20 were all shielded, although no one was over 800, and because I finished my last match post the end of the tourny it could have: a) not registered my last score(even though it gave me the 700 point reward or b) I may have been knocked down without it showing the defeat/s. It is what it is, but once again I would love to be able to look back at stats and see what happened.

Looks like its time to start leveling my Patches, I was waiting to get yellow covers, but he looks too strong in these 2 current events to wait any longer.

It sure is nice getting 500 iso from the sale of a 3* cover, though I wish they still chipped in some HP like the old days.

I hear ya on the C.Storm thing. I just hate getting bit by OBW while trying to get rid of C.Storm first. I find once OBW hits her purple steal, if there is Thor/Punisher/Hulk/Ares on the other team along with C.Storm I am pretty much toast. It can be like a cascade of attacks that is almost as bad as a constant spidey stun.

Speaking of Spidey, I find his heeling power works better to get Hulk back up to full health. Sometimes I just can't get Hulks health full with OBW, and my opinion on winning matches is that I don't really consider a win successful unless I finish with all characters in full health. Besides the fact that matches with Spidey seem extremely slow, my other issue is that stunning my opponent until he is dead gives very little feeling of reward in winning the match, almost feels like cheating or maybe P2W.

Firstly I just wanna say sorry, real life has been getting in the way the last couple of days so I haven't been able to play, or handle new recruits, as much as I have wanted to. To give indication of this, it's nearly 3am as I'm posting this... I've managed to do the minimum in the pve event to stay near the top, and points will be higher for me to catch up, so still hoping I'll be able to get a decent score. Tomorrow is another busy day but after that I should be around again as normal.

Secondly, notes have gone up about the R50 patch, and frustratingly though there is mention of several alliance changes, the one fix most requested on these forums hasn't been mentioned, and that's the commander/slot issue that has made me reluctant to recruit. However I said that I would expand as much as possible after the R50 patch so I will stick to my word, and when it hits if the situation is the same as it is now then I will have to take some risks regarding making new members temporary commanders in order to pay for a slot and then ask them to leave and rejoin as regular members. On the plus side there will be in-game chat options, so that may make things easier for the quieter members of the alliance to still communicate with the rest of us, as well as being able to easily spot anyone who has become inactive.

I have gotten a lot of PMs over the last few days regarding potential new members and it's all gotten a little out of control, as I've tried to assess who is eligible and who is not. For clarification and ease of reference (for myself as much as anyone else) the following is a list of forum members who I have invited into the alliance:

It is now a case of first come first serve, and the first person on this list who joins the alliance will get the free slot. Past that, the second slot will be offered to whoever is first willing to pay for the next slot, as other alliances have done, though this will not happen until the (now imminent) R50 patch hits. If anyone in the list has a different name in-game to their forum name, please let me know ASAP.

Also, in reference to the timing, our freelancer rwagz will stay until the end of this PVE (it seems unfair to kick him any sooner now that this PVE is underway) and I will free his slot once the event has ended. This may be slightly after the R50 update, if that is the case then so be it, kicking just before the end of the event would be horribly unfair.

If you had trouble signing up to the forum, like so many people have, and tried to use Soam the first time it could actually be registered to you but may be stuck in a spam filter and thus didn't get activated. Especially if you use hotmail, for some reason hotmail doesn't like the D3 emails and sends them to spam. Personally I had to log into the msn website to view my spam filter as it is not listed in my outlook hotmail folder.

No worries Fluffyudders, I totally understand about real life getting in the way. I've also had a busy week and next week for me it's going to get even busier. Hope to be able to play a bit though. Thanks for taking the time to organise the alliance expansion.

Despite what I said in an earlier post, I may kick our freelancer before the end of the current event, as his forum profile suggests that he hasn't been online for days. Also it appears he's only made one post.... if others could post their current score I may be able to deduce what contribution (if any) he's made to the event, and base my decision on that.....
