F2P Veterans Alliance

As many of you may have noticed, I've been unable to be as active lately, but yeah this pve really kicked my ****. There were a few occasions I was able to spend some time with very nice rubberbanding, only to get destroyed by pathetically weak teams with nasty cascades. In the last 30 mins I had a node worth 4400 points, but only beat it once out of 4 attempts. Let's hope the next pve is somewhat more forgiving....

That was probably the least fun event in recent history. I had to rely on Torch, Wolvy and IM/Storm for every node as the rest of my characters were either not levelled or didn't have covers for. Even tried out Bagman on a couple (who didn't last long).
Managed to resist wasting ISO on Hawkeye, but almost levelled him up after multiple beat downs.

Once again I am hoping one of our members will be able to supply us with another slot for the alliance? I am hoping to keep expanding. I would love to open one myself but so far I have only saved up 805 HP and we will need 1300 for the next slot. PM me if you can help please. thanks

I concur, very tough event with much of the fun drained out due to lack of characters available. good for the newer players though, I checked out some of the top alliances and lots of them had little more than leveled 1* covers but 20 members.

I leveled my Hawkeye up to 51 and just couldn't bare to waste anymore. most of the time his count down tiles, although effective, were cascaded away before they elapsed. I mostly worked at the nodes where torch was mandatory anyway, so I paired torch with BP and wolvy(thankfully I got my wolvy back up to level 85 a couple of events ago) so his slash was hitting at 2800. I also tried lazers theory of torch/bp and m.storm but I found if there was a shortage of green tiles I lost every time, which seemed to happen more often than not.

Thanks for the support my friends, it has certainly been an exciting time here in the F2P Veterans camp.

What a great bunch of guys we have, some hard core and some not so much, but all daily players. We are currently sitting a 92 in the hunt event and are looking forward to earning top 100 alliance rewards without anyone having to quit their day jobs in order for us to stay competitive. There are currently 19 full slots in our alliance and we are looking for a quality long term F2P minded player that can supply 2000 HP to open the last slot. I hate to have to ask this of a new recruit, but none of our guys have any HP left from our recent group expansion and being free to play we don't exactly have the option of just purchasing the HP.

We have 3 requirements to qualify for this last slot; a) must be F2P minded and have never paid into the game nor ever will, b) must be at least on day 150 of the daily rewards, c) must be able to open the 20th slot(2000 HP required) immediately.

If you are interested in joining a winning team that can guarantee top 100 rewards and you qualify for the above prerequisites please PM me.

And with that statement you are correct sir.

In theory and with great luck, we will find one more trustworthy comrade willing to donate the last slot for the cause, both theirs and ours, as we are already a top 100 team. At this point yes we will need a volunteer to leave the alliance and return upon the opening of our last slot. Should I feel that said recruit is worthy of our alliance and as I deem them to be trustworthy, there is a good chance I will volunteer myself to exit the alliance with nothing more than faith as the security that I will be allowed back in.

Other than this method we surely will need a donation from within our group of fine agents to open the remaining slot in fair time.

Of that I have no doubt, but there is always the possibility that the last recruit could end up being a rogue p2w player on assignment from hydra with a mission to infiltrate our ranks and become commander. If we have to let our guards down for this one last member. It could potenially bite us in the ****

I would assume now that we have a 20th spot open, we will have a lot of applicants (since we are a top50-100 alliance).

I would sift through and see who the best fit is. No need to rush into it.

I just want to say that I appreciate you guys choosing me to finish out your alliance. It is so nice to be a part of an alliance that not only consists of all F2P players but actually encourages it. I will admit that there have been times when I'm frustrated with the game that I think about just throwing money at it thinking that will make it better but I never have. It actually irritates me to see all the rosters full of 3* characters that you know were just bought. It's much more fun knowing that you got where you are from working hard at winning.

I also want to say that it is nice to be in an alliance that is focused on competing for covers. The last alliance I was in we got so focused on finding players that could open slots that in the end we sacrificed quality for quantity. They were nice people but they just didn't have any drive to do better.

I'm looking forward to kicking some P2W butt!

Hello all, I thought it time to reincarnate our alliance thread and update some of the goings on.

I am very proud to announce that this group of hardworking f2p members pulled out all the stops and finished 66th in season 1. Awesome job guys. However at the same time I regret we had to make some alliance changes in order to do this. As much I regret having to oust a few less active, yet very valuable members, I am still proud of the job we all did to make it come together at the last minute.
My sincere apologies go out to the members we lost, I truly hope you guys find good homes and continue to enjoy the game.
As so many players have been talking about in these forums, some of our team members are suffering from MPQ burnout, and we are currently looking to fill 2 slots with either permanent f2p veterans, or temp quality players who would like to reap the rewards of joining a casual top 100 alliance. Anyone interested please PM either myself or fluffyudders.

Thanks qiwi. once again as much as I hate having to make changes within the group, I will always try to make sure our core alliance gets the rewards they deserve. finger xd that we will soon settle in and stay competitive as a group, but for now I couldn't be happier with the 40th place finish in prodigal son.

I also wanted to say thanks to a great temp member that came in at just the right moment, sai kaiser. sai you are welcome to temp in our group anytime!!!

I also need to say goodbye to a very important member, fluffyudders. I truly hope you find your way back to the alliance after season 2, but for now "rest up and find some inner peace, so when you do come back, you come back as dragon"(didnt somebody, somewhere say that at one time?)

Hi all,

I'm a F2p player getting close to getting my hood reward on daily reward.
On pvp I run Hulk 110 and wolverine 85

Next best is pun at 89. On a 27 roster.

Currently in mauslik alliance but seem like everybody is bailing out.
