I love running KP and Coulson together; you'd think at a glance that Kingpin is totally redundant there, but I think his CDs hit harder than Coulson's do. I often put C4rol or Hawkeye in the middle, but I'll need to try running them with SWitch. My Drax isn't that great, but he seems like he could be cool on this team as well.

    Hi

Team Database is still a thing.  I just have been dealing with work stuff and family stuff.

Form for entering team is http://tiny.cc/MPQteam  - link was broken...fixed it
For looking at the list of teams is http://tiny.cc/MPQteams

I am adding the following folks: Dazzler Classic - 4, Nebula Infinity War - 4,Emma Frost Astonishing X-Men - 4

    Anyone I missed?

Also, anyone else who wants to help with upkeep or improvements PM me.  I am more busy now, and may not have time.  :(

For the Galactus Hungers event, I've been screwing around with a relatively silly team for the boss fights:
Prepare yourself for the swinging sounds of Smooth-Tone Patch and the Patch-ettes! (yes, the name probably needs work, but at least they are already in their lounge singer costumes...and, yes, I chose 1* Storm over 3* LazyStorm solely because the costume matched OBW's better)
    -3* Patch (boosted 5/3/5)
    -2* Black Widow (boosted 3/5/5)
    -1* Storm (unboosted 5/5/3)

It's probably obvious, but Patch tanks his colors and takes the big hits to true heal from, OBW tanks her's to steal extra through her passive once Galactus has gained some AP.  Due to the passives, there's only one color where you have more than one active ability (green) and more often than not Storm is probably the better call for board-clearing/AP-gain (always go Storm yellow-->Storm green to make the green more effective).  Once OBW's blue delays the countdown enough, Patch's green could be used to let OBW double-dip on strikes...but, personally, I would still save for Storm since your team is so frail.

TinTaiwan's post (just two above yours) has a link to a good community-generated list of great team options.
3*, 4*, and 5*s all are represented well.

So far in the current story event I'm running hood since he is boosted along with AmericaChavez and 5* daredevil. Any 5 would work for the match damage hood just makes it that much easier to ensure ac is doing her thing.

For Women of Marvel I’ve been running Peggy, Medusa, and C4rol. It offers a little bit of everything. A stun, burst healing, several nukes, special tile generation and plenty of CDs to buff them, special tile stealing, and situational AOE and AP generation. Damage can ramp really quickly, particularly with all 3 boosted. A shame there’s no use for green AP but it’s hardly an issue.

Been rolling with Rogue, Carol, and Chavez in WoM. Been pretty useful so far and I’m willing to bet it’s annoying to fight.

Rogue, Carol and Medusa is the team to beat in this PVP I think.

Hulk 3*, Kamala 3* and Storm 3* was suggested in that excel sheet as a wininfinity team. No, just no. Maybe because I tried it on a node with bullseye(protects) and a sergeant that heals all the time. Even though Hulk tanks, we never get anywhere despite three bashes.

Women of Marvel has so many good teams on offer that we have been spoiled for choice. I've used the C4rol, Medusa Peggy teams but hyave enjoyed running Riri/Mockingbird/Chavez - Riri's blue power generates red for either herself early on to whittle down opponents or for Rogue to finish off and both of them have additional AP generation/steal powers all of which helps Chavez get rolling. I especially like running Mock against cascade teams as she can pick up so many Match 4 triggers by the AI - I got 3 in a row yesterday which had Rogue smashing them in the face or Mock throwing bombs around everywhere.

I think you have 4 in that team.. I imagine you’re using Mockingbird or Rogue?
Ooops - yup - alternate them, good spot!

    Or..I've been Beta-testing a brand new mode...

    Hard to argue that.

Chavez/Val/Medusa is pretty damn fun, and fast, too.  You just keep tripping Val's CD and gen a ton of red.

Given the awful boost list for my Roster this week, and the fact that I accidentally joined SCL9, I was mostly just looking for something that could hang together without going through health packs like crazy. I grabbed Rulk and 3* Panther just because they're my best boosted characters, and then realized that they form a rainbow, which is really nice for protecting squishy Essentials (I've been wanting to level Ghost up for a while, but hadn't got around to it, so she was only Lvl111 when I started, and I just flipped Daken, so he's extra-puny), or utility characters like Strange. Rulk is really a star here, with his massive health pool, the fact that he's almost always tanking three colours plus Team-Ups, and how well his purple can shut down most of the Hammer goons, since they're pretty heavy on green powers.

I am using 4* Gamora, 4*Carol and Medusa or Women of Marvel and really love this team. Medusa at (5/4/4) so that her red ability's countdown last 3 turns, thus you can either match the countdown tiles to generate 2 attack tiles or you can let it resolve and buff whatever tiles you have, it's a win-win situation. Gamora's chap blue let you get out attack or strike tiles out early for buffing.

In 3* land, I'm having fun against PVE goons with Hawkguy, Doc Ock and Strange.  It's not perfect, but it's fun.  Once I get 10 purple and 9 blue, it's game over.  Hawkguy's strikes are killer, combined with Doc's attack tiles and Strange hits harder too.

That's a really good team and setup.  Thx.

I'm at the upper end of PVP, and the battles are rough.  I'm still early 4* so some of these teams are a bit much for me.  Some of the monster Peggy squads are tough.  Gamora might help there.  Her blue is still cheap even with Peggy active, but post stun you get a break.

I'm using G4mora/Medusa/Nico in the women of Marvel. G4mora and Medusa get friendly spam out quickly, and Nico starts buffing it to the stratosphere. This team does well against the Rogue teams, since attack tiles aren't reduced by Rogue's damage reduction.

I was also running IM40/Shuri/Peggy (3/5/5) now that I've champed Peggy. This team is rad: get Recharge out, fire off Vibranium Virtuoso a couple times, use Do as Peggy Says twice to stun lock everybody, use Shuri's green if you need to, win the match in 3 turns typically.

Now that Bl4de, C4rol and X-Pool is boosted and I use Chimichanga support on X-Pool it makes for a very quick strike-fest. X-Pools support makes more purple and a chance for a cd-tile. Plus free strikes and protects from C4rols support.
