With Coulson, Quake and 3* Gambit (mine's only 1/5/3) all boosted, it's almost easy to forget that the Mindless Ones and Kishus can ever be dangerous in the Strange Sights PVE.  They're literally helpless against the trio...at least in SCL 7.  What a nice way to celebrate champing Quake yesterday...

5* Gambit with only Black powers with 4* Blade and Jean Grey.  What a bloodfest.

Once even if you never match a red, Blade's red fires and never stops.  Jean's Purple was firing so much I just waited until I hit 20 purple unless I needed it.

Nothing new in general, but I just got Quake sufficiently covered to make it work: C4ge, Strang3, Quake against Maggia Muscle. It's still a little nerve-wracking every time I let a Tommy Gun countdown go off, but between Cage's Protects and Quake's damage reduction, they're usually just hitting for 1 damage even with a couple of their Strikes out.

C4rol, Coulson & 3* Gambit in strange sights - chase black matches early as once I got a strike tile out from Carol, proceed to 'unleash all the countdowns'

Best buffed strike tile I saw was about 4200, but usually the fight was over well before then with tiles popping all over the place, and Gambit red doing massive damage thanks to the strike tiles out

I was having a lot of fun in the Patch PvP event with Patch, 3* Gambit, & Coulson, especially once I got the green AP for Patch to throw out Strike Tiles. Then it was as simple as over-writing the AI's Purple strikes with Gambit's purple, start firing his Red, and watch & laugh as Coulson did his thing. More than a few times I got a good run going and wiped out entire teams in one turn.

Patch, 4* Cyclops, and Gambit were another fun team in that event. I was able to leave green tiles on the board because Cyclops' yellow would generate Green AP for Patch's Strike tiles, while Cyc's Blue collected more red AP for Gambit.

Medusa, Gamora and R&G is easily countered, Climbed very high just fighting teams made up of them w/o the need of using health packs.  I'm physically hunting only those teams because of how easy they are to beat.

What team do you use? I'm sick of skipping past 90% of matches due to seeing this!

Thing/3*or 5* Gambit/Wasp ruins them. And quite quickly I might add.

Not OP, but I've been running Carol, Coulson, and 3* Gambit (I don't have his 5*) in Balance of Power, and they're maybe not so great on defense (or maybe they are) but they're bloody wicked on offense.

With Carol front & center, enemy matches in their strongest color generates black AP for Photonic Barrage. Typically I cast Photonic Barrage, wait one more turn, then start firing Gambit's Ragin' Cajun, and Aces & Eights. Typically this is turn 4 or 5, so I have enough red for 4-5 Aces & Eights, because Gambit will inevitably charge then blow up a red tile or two, and if he doesn't, he'll hit Purple for more Ragin' Cajuns, or Blue for Coulson's Super Secret Tech.

After I'm finally out of purple and red AP, if any enemy are still alive, I let the AI have one last turn, wait for Coulson's bombs to finish exploding, tap Victory, then look for my next victim.

Against a Medusa/Gamora/R&G, the standard tactic is target Medusa first, and match R&G's strike tiles immediately. Medusa's heal will eliminate your initial match damage, but if you can get rid of the strike tiles and deny black (because Gamora likes black), from then out it's basically match damage & Medusa's counter, which you want to avoid matching in spite of it's constant DOT because that just creates more attack tiles and more opportunity for her to heal.

In BOP, that DOT hurts, but with the DOT and two more attack tiles it hurts even more. To help mitigate this, cast Gambit's Purple ASAP to overwrite some of R&G's strike tiles and/or any of Medusa's attack tiles. Then it's wait a couple of turns to build up a small pool of Red, and more Purple, and go nuts with Ragin' Cajun, and Aces & Eights.

Champed Ice Man the other day.

In the higher nodes on PVE where its non tile movers I went with Iceman - Vulture - IM40

That was quite fun, and pretty quick!

Carol outshines almost everyone on offence in Balance of Power. I've been using her with Coulson and Cloak & Dagger. C&D accelerates Carol's black and gets some strikes out quickly. I start using C&D's cheap purple to proc Coulson's passive countdowns which Carol uses to buff strikes... yikes. Meanwhile, C&D will start spawning a few red attack tiles, which add the strike's damage....

Nothing can survive for very long against this onslaught.

My Cloak & Dagger, and my Wasp, are both 1 cover away from being fully covered, while my 1/3/2 Thing still has a long way to go. Sadly that doesn't make him a great tank, but...he's boosted in BOP! Oh! That's brilliant! I just retaliated against a Medusa/Gamora/R&G team, with Thing, Wasp, and my 3* Gambit, and I took a little bit of damage but I won!

Damn it, man! I want to champ C&D, and Wasp, and Vulture, but now I want get Thing fully covered, too! That's a great team!

    Thing/IceMan/Vulture
    Thing/MockingBird/Vulture *** Personal Favorite
    Thing/HoboFist/C&D

    If you don't have Thing;

3Star Hawkeye/Carnage/Medusa ( I am so sorry for mentioning this team, forgive me.....)

    Antman/Carol/IM40

    5starHE/IM40/Vulture

Ideally you want to use Thing as his yellow set to 5 will proc after there first move.

3* HE/Carnage/Medusa is a team im surprised i havent seen as much as i should.....

I champed Fury recently. So I’m running.....

    Fury 5/3/5
    Mockingbird 3/4/4
    2* Bullseye

you wanna know what’s fun? Getting Fury’s yellow off and then firing Bullseyes black right after. You’ll probably kill 2 and the board will be left with 4 or more critical tiles on the board.

    3* Gambit 5/3/5
    3* Wolverine 4/5/4
    Colossus 4/5/4

There is some REALLY great synergy here. Colossus’ yellow shields Gambit from damage and reduces overall damage. His Fastball Special is awesome with enough red. You throw Gambit in the air and either use Pete’s or Logan’s hard-hitting red. And Wolvie’s green/red combo perfectly with Remy’s purple. Rainbow is covered too.
