Your latest fun team combination

I toyed around with Iceman (champ) - Spider-Woman (4/5/4, not yet champed) - IM40 in SHIELD Sim recently. Not bad actually.
Recharge fuels Ice's blue & green, and SW provides a needed red outlet after IM goes to sleep. Purple is situational. Black goes to SW if needed.
So if you get all three Recharge CDs to resolve, and grabbed a green & red match along the way, you go Iceman blue-blue-green, Spider-Woman red, and then the match is effectively over. At least one if not two characters are down, and anyone left standing is likely stunned for 2 or 4 turns. Mop up from there.

Drax, Switch and Coulson. Switch's purple feeds Coulson so you can charge and gather whatever AP you need at the moment or match away enemy countdowns. Drax's black at 5 covers takes out 3 enemy tiles (including countdowns) which then usually results in several cascades. Whenever you fire a power, you get your own countdowns from Coulson, which do their thing and give you more AP to activate other skills and whatever. Then there are matches, which reduces countdown tiles (thanks to Coulson) and then things just happen all over the place, not to mention that Drax does damage whenever one of your countdowns expire. I probably haven't explained it all that well, but if you have decently covered Drax and Coulson, this is a fun team, I promise. I have Drax at 5/4/2 lvl 200 and Coulson at 5/5/2 lvl 200 with Switch champed. Also fun is Sentry instead of Switch (World Rupture and all). Prior to this, I had no interest in leveling Drax and Coulson. My interests have changed.2

Just don't trigger Coulsons blue and you'll have both Buzzing Sound and Coulsons passive to gain extra AP each turn.
Wasp to create and strengthen special tiles, Coulson to strategically use his purple to gain extra AP and set up traps for enemy to accidentally match That Buzzing Sound, and Blade of course to deal high damage with red and also green (a few strengthened strile tiles and he'll end the battle quickly).
I've been running Coulson, Wasp, Carol, which is great fun, especially when the opposition grants you AP by matching their strongest colour. In some recent event where they were both boosted, Cloak & Dagger as a black feeder for Mordo was surprisingly fun.
I really want Cloak/Dagger champed but I have few covers left (hopefully I'll manage during this season) but I primarily want them as a yellow feeder. Paired with Power Man.2 -
I tryed out IM40-3Cap-Coulson today at PvE and was not dissapointed.
IM40 lay out 3 countdowntiles that get you AP and when they reach 0 you get extra AP from Coulsons passive.
3Cap deals damage and lay out countdowntile with his red and will return most of the AP also triggering Coulsons passive. If in need use 3Caps blue for a stun otherwise use Coulsons blue for AP steal (recommended to use after you use IM40 yellow).
Coulsons passives do most of the work but you also got his purple to charge and switch 2 tiles wich will get you even more AP.

Get HT green out, instant buffing of the protect tile and any strikes.
Carol passive tends to feed Yellow in most matches
Very effective team
Is the attraction with HT (over Blade), an active red, and you don't need to steal Carol's black to get the machine going?0 -
Here's a new one....
2* Captain Marvel
Cloak & Dagger
5* Black Panther 2/1/4
C&D fill the board with either black or yellow. I start off with black to get Panthers Prey on the field before I kill one character with it pumping up Cloaks attack tiles and with C&Ds purple power to switch to the yellow. Then I activate CMs Strategic Command and flood the field with TUPs for BP. Then, Cloak puts out more yellow tiles for Spirit of Wakanda to activate.0 -
My roster isn't the best but I like 2 magneto, switch, and 2 star Hawkeye. Mags and switch can set up at least 2 to 3 speed shots a fight against dark avengers.5

The idea was with 5's on Cap's blue and red, he could create 5-matches out of anything.
so...
Use Bullseye green to make 5-matches
Clean up any additional 5's with cap blue/red/yellow
Hopefully get two crit tiles out, KO someone with Bullseye black, and have tons of hawkeye purples on the board.
Cap's blue and red also helped to keep thug Countdowns out of the way if they got close to going off.
Because of this, 3* cap was my first championed 3*

While Iso-8 Brotherhood, with a relative lack of goons, seems like a waste of a boosted Dr Strange week, I have learned this event how fun 4* Carol (mine is 5/3/2), Coulson (mine is 5/4/2) and Loki can be against the endless Dark Avenger nodes. Loki's green and Coulson's blue pair nicely together for solid AP denial and if Carol's black is out, you can get some seriously boosted strike tiles pretty quickly. I've generated so much yellow that I've even used Coulson's yellow as a finisher (with a lot of help from Carol's pumped-up strike tiles). Perhaps not quick enough to be too serious, it's been a fun team to screw around with.3

I've actually been having a lot of success and fun putting Mordo (my 1st champed 4* after 500 days of play) on a 3*4*5* team with Iron Fist and Black Panther.
Check the link for screen grabs before and after firing IF's wicked cheap 5AP purple which resulted in almost 5k BP match damage and a gain of 18 black AP which Mordo used to deal damage and create more charged black tiles:

This may be an obvious team, but I just starting using it last night with my Boosted Blade and it worked great (and fast):
4*Blade (5/5/3) + 3*Cyclops (5/5/3) + Medusa (4/5/4)
Just collect Red, Yellow, Green (in that order) and match Medusa's tile when possible. Before everyone dies, fire off Blade's green to heal himself for the next match. I can also finish with Cyclops' Red too.

In doing the iso8 event, I tried a passive approach ...Bl4de, 3*thanos, and 3*strange. To clearing nodes...holy **** they made it thru fast.
IM40/Vis/hood....get enough black for 2 intimidate and recharge in the same turn...then vis wrecks it with aoe1 -
Going Passive/ Aggressive with C4ge / Bl4de / Strang33

I had fun today climbing in Shield Sim with my newly champed 4* R&G with Starlord and Peggy. Set Peggy & R&G up 3/5/5 and SL 5/3/5.
Hits really hard for the first couple of turns with the beefy strike tiles out and by the time the AI actually has enough AP to fire off a power the board is usually filled with enough countdowns that sucker punches can mop up quickly.1 -
With my current roster:
Bl4de/Medusa/3*Strange against anything that has a goon. Bl4de/Medusa/IM40 against anything that doesn't. Medusa's attack tiles coupled with Blade's strike tiles is killing it while I either get up enough AP to do something effective, or wait for goons to start laying down countdown tiles and letting Strange fire away.I'd use 5*Strange, but he's at 4/3/0... and I have been patiently waiting for a yellow tyvm.0
