Peggy's blue is great when all three resolve, but sadly that's pretty rare.
Try to use her blue right before you kill off someone, or in PVE target a goon when you use it.  Then the AI can't move during the countdowns.  Occasionally you'll be forced to match one, or a cascade will accidentally get one, but most of the time you can get all 3 to fire.

    Enjoying Blad3/Wasp/Medusa.

Blad3 drops strike tiles, 10 yellows lets Wasp bring every one of them to 1400+ dmg (boosted), and then whatever tile combo you make does 10,000+ damage. Using Medusa to do autodamage every turn, steal whatever strike/attack/protect tiles the enemy team makes, and generate AP/health whenever one of those is matched.

I have been enjoying Wasp/C4rol/Strang3 for any enemy team with goons. If no goons, I swap out Strang3 for 3* fist or either 3 or 4 Luke Cage.

Collect yellow and blue as quickly as possible. Get shields/swords out there, let Wasp start stealing AP. Whenever she steals AP, your tiles become stronger as well. If you happen to save up black, fire Carol's black as well (unless down to one enemy, then you can just fire Wasp's black to also stun). If using Fist, then use his purple to help build black faster.

My new anti-goon squad: 4* Cage with 5 black, champion 3* Strange, and any green user. Since 3* Blade is currently boosted, I run him more often than not.

Every goon CD gives you a free protect tile & a burst of health, and the target enemy eats flames from Strange. With Blade's free strike tiles boosting that damage it can get pretty crazy. And if Cage is out front, of course he removes an enemy tile, meaning Bullseye isn't quite as much of a nuisance. And if a CD does go off, you've probably got 4+ protects on the board to mitigate it anyway.

If my Cage were better covered (2 yellow, 1 red to go with the 5 black) it would feel like an advanced cheat mode.

After champing peggy, medusa and wasp quite recently I tried them out in sim today. 900 points climb with 4 health packs used! What, a , POwERHOUSE!!!

Priorotise blue and yellow and the rest just go on autopilot.
Although... As soon as I manage to champ Carol Peggy is out!
Medusa: heal, a generate, auto damage every turn.
Wasp spewing cd tiles, creating strike and defence tiles AND buffing them
Carol taking advantage of the cd tiles to put some extra buffs on strike tiles!

    The recent ladies ROCK!!

I tried Carol/Wasp/Medusa against the Big Enchilada today and it was exactly as face-melty as I expected, even with a 2/2/0 Carol. It will unfortunately melt less once they fix the countdown bug, but at the current rate of bug fixes, I anticipate good times for a while to come.

CD bug will be fixed with the new patch. I believe it goes out Friday.

I saw that. This is why I can't have broken things which are inadvertently occasionally nice things.

I just used Medusa, Patch and Nova on the 4* required node for Deadpool vs MPQ, the super annoying one with Carnage and Doc Ock, and wrecked so much face I was speechless. Most fun I've had with that node in ever.

There are so many ways to destroy goons nowadays, but my current favorite is

    Wasp, Star Lord, 4*Cage

Just collect some yellow and wait for goons to drop CD tiles......Cage drops protects and Star Lord reduces costs.  Once I have 3+ protects from Cage, I switch them to Strikes for 3 Yellow AP.  If I have 6 more Yellow AP, I flip them twice to create super strong strikes.  From there, the match ends pretty quickly.  Black and Red can finish off goons too.  Purple AP is for defense.

Just tried this with a 1/3/1 OML instead of cage, dropping strikes for wasp to flip with every power activation. Efficient.

With the current Meet Rocket and Groot event the team of Boosted RHulk, Boosted Captain Marvel, and Boosted IM40 is pretty amazing.

    Moonstone, Daken, Juggernaut

No j/k just wanted to bump this thread.

Here's a real one with some of my lesser-used toons: Antman, Chulk, Starlord. SL reduces Ant'Man's powers, making Grow easier, and TAH covers green and black and is generally a nuisance.

My new season-long simulator team is Carol / Wasp / Phil.  I tried Carol / Wasp / Drax, recreating the countdown bug, but it wasn't as much fun.

    Coulson, new Drax, 5* Hawkeye.
There is so much auto-AP / auto-damage going on, the opponents just drop off a cliff.
I will never tire of firing those arrows.

Colossus and Grey Suite Black Window + ***Iron Fist or Doctor Doom.
Goal is to get as much black as possible and launch Colossus' Fastball Special and choosing Black Widow.

I get too much joy out of it.

Boosted Iron Fist 3*, Mordo, and SW makes for some quick giggles. Turn 4 things start to snowball.

4* Rocket & Groot, 4* Captain Marvel, 3* Iron Man

R&G drops strike tiles, collect 6 yellow and use Recharge. Once Recharge goes off, it boosts those strike tiles quite high. Cast R&G blue for a perpetual countdown tile that boosts yout strike (and attack) tiles even further. Cast R&G green for even more uses of your strike tiles.

    Switch
    Carol
    2* Hawkeye

rainbow is covered. Carol's yellow is the key. It speeds up all the CDs from Hawk and Switch. Enemy matching of their strongest power speeds up Carol getting black and once that hits the field, it becomes a slaughterhouse.

Thanks for mentioning this. I've been playing around with it, and it's a ton of fun, especially right now while 2* Hawkeye is an Essential in the PvE.

EDIT: This also got me having fun with Carol, Wasp, and Flying Sam. It's weaker in a number of ways (no good red match damage, no green or blue Actives), but once you've got a couple of blue and yellow matches, it starts getting ridiculous really fast.
