Your latest fun team combination

The purple charges Widow to place more green which can be placed in such a way to create 1-3 crits for Prof X. Plus each time Prof X crits he's also building more purple. Team is usually dead before Green is fully charged.
This is the standard Charlie's Angels (winfinite) team, which was discovered a long time ago, but congrats if you figured it out on your own. The team can take down practically anyone, no matter the size, because of the nearly infinite combo. The only problem is that if Prof X is leveled too high, then your strongest color is Blue, not purple, which kills the combo.0 -

Yeah I figured it out. I had heard winfinite thrown around but never explained. I only discovered it because both Prof X and GSBW were boosted at the same time and I had few 4*s to choose from anyway.0 -

I like using Blade with IF and 3-Strange, because automatic strikes plus IF can feed Blade black
Sadly, my Blade only has one cover. But Daken is good for self-healing and his nuke is handy when you've filled all the red tiles on the board and IF's green is ready to go.0 -

Nova works well with IF and the good doctor too. Full rainbow and you can use Strange's blue instead of Daken's and just watch enemies melt away. Nova's red is also a nice way to keep control.0 -
I found out that the new and improved Mr Fantastic has a great synergy with 4* Luke Cage: Reed puts out fortified special tiles that boost Cage's yellow nuke and Luke creates free protect tiles that can trigger Master of the Fantastic. No active colour overlap.
Add Teen Jean to the mix and you have a very versatile, full active rainbow team with 3 passives (and Jean can remove enemy special tiles so Luke's red hits for the full damage). They have practically all you could possibly need: big nukes, AOEs, lots of special tiles, board control, stun, enemy tile removal, burst heal... The passives punish almost everything enemy team does: matching away your special tiles, using powers, getting match-5s. Between The Defender and Flexibility there's so much protection that even 5* match damage stops mattering pretty quick. Great for difficult surivival nodes, the longer you play it, the stronger it gets - more and more fortified special tiles!
It is not a very fast team, but sooo fun to play.

4* Deadpool / 4* Wolvie / 4* Cyclops
Especially when one or more of them is boosted. Good sustained damage, and if you can get black and purple loaded up -- Countdown + wolvie black = fantastic amounts of damage potential. And Clops cleans up the mess. Super fun!0 -
Ok just found a very fun one with some lesser-used 4*s: Cho, War Machine, Miles. WM's green and blue at 5, and Miles' red at 3. The star of the show is WM's green. Cho gathers green, Miles' pink and yellow spam webs to match for more AP, and WM's green itself causes lots of cascades for more AP. A very fun combo. The occasional blue nuke from WM. Only downside is both miles and WM have reds at 3, but WM still makes plenty of tiles with it.0

Cho, Quill, and IM40 or Rulk, Moon Knight, and Cmags...or XFDP, KP, and Bobby0

I've fallen in love with a new team.
5* 285 1/0/1
271 4/4/5
172 1/2/5
Fun as hades. The slowest power is IWs at 10 but its sped up significantly by RHs which activates at 7 and gives 7 green. At 5 covers, hardly anything is getting hit by IWs Force Field Crush and not getting about 80% of their life ripped away. Her blue is for opposing special tiles of course but her and BP have nice symmetry. Her yellow only costs 7 and hides BP for Move or Be Moved and if you tack on his and that's a lovely chunk of damage (right now it's just below 4000 total) and you haven't even made a match yet! I'm actually wanting to get hit for RHs passive to go off but there's a bunch of yellow shields on the field so I'm not really getting hurt either.
Too much fun. Can't wait to get more BP and RH covers.0 -
Oddly enjoyable PvE team w/ unexpected synergy:
Not full rainbow coverage, but Spidey's purple builds protect tiles while helping Rulk accelerate, Thor's yellow also builds green, and red & blue still have their uses. Probably doesn't work as well if you have a champed Rulk, but if he's underleveled it's pretty good.0 -
I have come across and discovered a few, awesome team combinations:
POWER TEAM "A"
- IRON MAN: Mark 40
- CHULK
- PEGGY CARTER
• Iron Man's battery sets up Peggy Carter's and , in addition to Chulk's . Align the (2) most dangerous / powerful opponents in the second and third slots, to be stunned by Peggy Carter , then take them out.
• Chulk's can be set to destroy any tile if needed, and keeps feeding health.
POWER TEAM "B"
- BLACK PANTHER
- HULKBUSTER
- IRON FIST
• Iron Fist's will set up the Black Panther (Rage of the Panther) for massive damage across all opponents.
• Iron Fist and Black Panther will flood the board with tiles. If you can get these out in board before Rage of the Panther = more damage!
• Hulkbuster bring in heavy support with his Repulsor Punch and Hulk Proof.
GOON / THUG / NINJA TEAM
- NOVA
- OLD MAN LOGAN
- DOCTOR STRANGE STRANGE
• Flood the board with quick tiles using NOVA , , . This will activate OML . Despite OML losing health, his passive will regenerate health each turn.
• Doctor Strange provides stun, in addition to firepower each time opponent attacks you.
• NOTE: I only have (1) and (1) OML covers. One does not need an abundance of OML covers.0 -
For awhile I had been hoarding LTs and CP and decided to cash them in that last time Civil War rolled around and 5* Black Panther was released. I walked away with a 3/2/2 BP in addition to jump starting my 4* tier. I was quite blessed with Medusa covers at the time. After bonus heroes rolled out along with the concurrent vaulting, I decided to try for a few 4* bonus covers. I didn't get any, but I got the necessary covers to make Medusa my first 4* champ.
On Saturday, I was making my final push in the Simulator and discovered a fun team of 5* Black Panther, Medusa and Rocket & Groot. For starters, it's full rainbow coverage. I was noticing at one point that a couple of Medusa's CD tiles got matched to produce attack tiles along with her CD and R&G had their strike tiles and I had targted 5* Black Widow with Panther's Prey. I was doing about 4K damage each turn with a match, and then the passive attack on top of it the end of the turn. I think I had taken Widow from full health to dead before Panther's Prey had even finished counting down.0 -
So when Coulson came out, I eagerly awaited his PvP so I could play around with teams he could fit well in (as he's clearly been designed as an all-around utility/support character that does lots of little things and actually does them pretty effectively, and can fit neatly behind two heavy hitters without getting in the way). I think I found the right combination - 4*Carol, War Machine, and Coulson.
I'd already been having a lot of fun with the synergy between Carol and Rhodey (ironic!), but now with Coulson they become a ridiculous countdown-powered engine of destruction.
Just work towards getting your first Attack or Strike out, and then start firing off powers - each power lets Coulson put out a CD, which Carol can yellow to finish off, which collects AP and strengthens a special, which then fires off another Coulson CD, and on and on...
One might be tempted to forgo Coulson's seemingly least impressive active, his blue, and go for WM's nuke - well, when the board can have 5 countdowns on it so easily, stealing 2 or 3 AP for each (and not from one enemy color pool, each one steals from a random pool), I know I'd rather steal 10 to 15 AP for 11 blue. Even though this team floods the board with specials, judicious use of Carol's yellow and Coulson's purple swap gives you pretty good board control, and once you get to the point where you're taking several moves a turn you know you've got the match under control. Five passives, rainbow coverage, four AP generating powers, board shake and board control, attacks and strikes, and a bunch of crazy countdown synergy adds up to one of the most fun combos I've found in a while!0 -
I recently discovered a great team for EotS which I can use to quickly and easily wipe away enemies:
270 Rhulk (boosted)
274 Star Lord
183 IM40 (boosted)
For weak enemies: 2 purple matches + SL AP reduction = 5 Purple Gamma Siphon => 7 Green Hammer & Anvil for 5,500 Team Damage
For strong enemies: 2 yellow matches (recharge) + 1 purple match + 1 green match = Gamma Siphon => 18 green for 14,600 Team Damage
For wave nodes: build up as much purple and yellow as possible, then start wiping out waves for 7 Green, while using Gamma Siphon over and over
For essential nodes: just use Rhulk and IM40 with the required character0 -

Yeah, I've been spamming the hell out of im40 and rhulk this week, never thought to add SL, though. I'll have to try it.0 -
2/2/2 lvl 127
3* 1/1/1 lvl 52
4* 3/3/1 lvl 152
This team will be fun. Been using it for the Ultron sentries and it's hella fun. Medusa gets 2 AP back in purple or blue or green and Hawk gets 1 in purple and blue (so far) if you match an enemy tile. You will go through Hawks quiver like lightning. His black actually teams up with Medusa's purple and her yellow passive well.
Carol speeds up CDs of Medusa and (most importantly) Hawkeye. I use her black early to get strike tiles out to pump up when CDs expire. I use Hawks black later if he takes too much damage. But with medusa healing you with your own tiles out, there's not much need.
With Hawks blue at 5 AP and Carols yellow at 5AP, it's so easy to get things going. I can't wait to get more covers for all of them.0 -
Two super fun combined arms teams
Wasp / falcon / wolverine
Carol / fist / torch0 -
Hawkguy Starlord and X-23
Tried this in the Hawkeye essential node in meet R&G
granted Maggia Goons basically guarantees that full Quiver will cost 3 and Holding Back will cost 6
Hawkeye's passive also speeds up Purple for Starlord so he can overwrite some of the countdown/Muscle Strike Tiles
(Hawkguy 2/2/2, level 174 boosted, X-23 5/4/3 level 250, Star Lord 5/3/1, level 214 Boosted)
sub in SW for X-23, Speed up purple but no claws likely more effective against CD spammers
or ChoHulk/Red Hulk/any decent Green User0 -
3* , 3* ,
Goal is to get , , and .
Use recharge and fist's purple to fuel hawkguy's black and blue. Hawkguy's blue refills some ap and does damage, buffed by his strikes. Use his purple if he is full health or if black is all over the board. This combo should get better when I get more covers for Hawkguy (1/2/2).0 -
I haven't seen Logan at the cinema (and likely won't get a chance) so I've been amusing myself with OML + X23 + PX in SHIELD Sim.
A lot of inactive colours, but there's no Red spender to start, so X23 should hit Berserker Rage, and no Yellow spender, so OML will eventually pop those claws. A lot of potential for many, many strike tiles - which means cheaper traps from X23 and provides good fodder for PX to buff when he's invis.0
