Really enjoying boosted Jessica Jones with boosted/ascended Kate Bishop in the current pve. JJ's passive blue generates Kate's blue which hits crazy hard

5*Riri/Ascended Coulson/Kang. Boost +2 green.

If there are 2 green matches, you've won. Match green. Stun. Match green. Stun. Kang blue x3.
If no green matches settle for a red or blue and go from there.

Hawkeye over Riri obviously works too I just dont like using him.

With the new AI support, Ultron is drastically better than he used to be. Pairing him with Buffpin and OR and it’s become one of my best teams. Also, with Kitty and Jessica buffed, teaming them up with Miles5 gets out of hand pretty quickly.

Thanks for whoever mentioned Northsatr. I never really gave him a second thought. I need to Ascend him and Nightcrawler as quickly as possible. Just teamed them with Serci and it went winfinite right away. Full rainbow too.

Seconded on the thanks to whoever brought up Northstar. I tried him with Emm5 and Ikaris. Emm5 boosts Ikaris’s airborne damage, so the cascades that result from casting Northstar’s black is usually enough to down the allies that Northstar didn’t take airborne.

For additional context, here’s Ikaris’s stats at 463 w/ 29 yellow.

Edit: I swapped in iShulk for Emm5 and I think she may work even better w/ Northstar and Ikaris. Shulk tanks black for Northstar and he provides a useful outlet for her red airborne passive damage. A rainbow team that’s light on healthpacks.

Test driving some recent ascended characters and am Having some fun with this team:

4Chavez5
4Nick Fury5
And plain ole 3* Hood

Supports:
Carol’s communicator support on Fury (ap generation on last perk)
Skrulluminati on Hood
Threw a Mind stone on Chavez

Hood’s ap steal and Carols Comm ramps America’s crits quickly while acquiring the sustained ap needed for each summoned power of Fury’s yellow. Fury’s blue hits hard, and yellow is spammable at 6 ap.

I ended up stunning often, laying multiple crits in single turns, dealing ~12k aoe (fury yellow) and a cool ~110k nuke with his blue if matched in unison.

Probably could more interested in bringing Wiccan along with Hulking support. Both would benefit from the overcoming the threshold across all ap colors. Maybe in lieu of Chavez, but she just does some awesome heavy lifting. Worth a try when he ascends.

Rebalanced Fury worked better than I thought. With all 3 characters unboosted I was able to complete a Carbage challenge node 4 times over with no boosts/teamups. Not bad.

Who teams best with Jane 4>5 ascended? Red looks like it will hit extremely hard, but is expensive. Do you team her with an AP battery like Thor or charged tile creators?

Honestly, my favorite is the classic teamup between her and X-force.

With my man back to feeling his old self again, it still packs a punch!

I really like Ascended Jane with 5* Miles Morales. That’s one of the few charged tile creators that work better with Ascended Jane than 5* FosThor.

And Ascended Jane is still money with Iron Man 40.

Edit* Throg works well too. I don’t have it Ascended though. I’d love to see the ascended numbers on Throg though.

Just read through Goose 3* powers again. Didn’t click with me before, but if you pair him with Apoc and BRB, that team could be insane.

Ascended Medusa, 5* Carnage and 5* Miles, all boosted in this week's PVE, has been incredibly fun. Firing Miles green then Medusa purple is fun as hell. Hardly ever have to use a health pack either with Medusa's healing team

MThor, 5* Miles, and boosted Spider-Man India are quite fun together. Cascades building tons of AP from MThor, and putting webtiles on the board, then webtiles create more charge tiles because of Miles, and Spider-Man India hits incredibly hard to the whole enemy team with his green.

In the absence of any ascended 4 stars on my roster I’ve been trying to come up with a good 3rd for 5* Vulture and Heimdall. Turns out Omega Red completes the team very nicely!

Gather yellow and blue from match start. Use blue to reduce the cost of Heimdalls yellow to 5 and you should be able to fire Bifrost Bridge every turn. Combined with Vultures purple passive these generate 6 yellow AP, 7 red AP, 3 blue AP and 5 black AP each turn.
(This is higher than I’d expect from reading the powers but have tested and these numbers are accurate, so may be bugged?)
This provides ample Red AP for firing Tentacle Whip, especially if discounted by Heimdalls’ Blue.
Heimdall can also fortify ORs’ countdown (boosted by firing Tentacle Whip) to help ensure it ticks down to Zero for max damage.

Crucially, because of the ordering of abilities, ORs countdown still ticks down each turn, even if he’s been sent airborne by Heimdall!

Also there’s good health pack economy because Heimdalls’ blue and ORs’ red are both true heals, and vulture is invisible virtually all the time.

Ascended America Chavez being boosted in the Galactus boss event is crazy good. We're in round 6 and a regular match 3 in one of Chavez strong colors ends him with her being around lvl 600. Even if one of her colors aren't available, her passive damage will kill him next turn so the big guy never gets more than 1 turn.

Oh, this is supposed to be about team composition? That's it, she is the team. She does all the work, but I also bring boosted 5 star magneto and wong. On the off chance the match lasts long enough to fire a power his blue is fun for all the cascades and wong is just there to hopefully start off with his strike tiles and make the over kill extra overkilly.
