    For once, it would be really nice if a dev chimed in here with either a 'yes, this was the win rate we were aiming for' or 'sorry, our bad, this match-up was too difficult and we'll change it on the next 4* ddq rotation'. Just to give us some idea into what they're aiming for with nodes like this. Because it certainly isn't that their players are having fun.

    On the upside, hopefully this will make the next one with Jean all the more satisfying.

    For bracket completeness, only a single player has beat the node in my hracket, with a l270 355 Flaptain.

    After realizing using 40k ISO leveling Faptain to lvl 150 (3/5/2) was the dumbest thing I could have done as I still didn’t stand any chance killing her. I had a good night’s sleep opened MPQ, saw that I didn’t complete my first 4ddq since the start and then my OCD kicked in. No way I’m not completing it!

    Being all positive about the posts here that people around my faptain’s level were able to do it, I used all ISO resources and saved tokens (which I was saving hoping the token exchange rumor is true) I had left. Now I was able to lvl him from 150 to 188, so this should make things easier. Well how wrong was I, even using all boosts available (also the +100% damage and +2 all AP) and 17 tries later I haven’t come close.

    I can understand that you shouldn’t be able to complete a 4ddq with a 0/1/1 lvl 70 4*, but with a 10 covers lvl 188 fully boosted not coming close is taking it too far. This means that this part of the game serves no one, because the only ones able to complete it already have a fully leveled 4* or an insane amount of luck.

    Probably much better. There is a big difference between CapFalcon and Xpool, one is quite good, and quite fun to play, the other is garbage, so a LOT of people bought covers for Xpool. And Xpool at least has two usable powers icon_razz.gif

    I am 100% sure this has been the worst DDQ4 of all. In my sub just 10 people completed it. This has been my first defeat in DDQ4 and frankly I am quite pissed with devs, because it is basically their fault. THEY NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT LOSING IS NOT COOL ! Let's stop this **** of "you have to lose". If you have 2 or 3 covers you now you don't have a chance, but people with 6-9 covers have loosed in this fight! With 9 covers!!! This is of course completely ridiculous...

    I am going to keep dreaming and I am going to hope some kind of compensation for this stupidity icon_razz.gif

    Devs need to start compensating their player base when they make this kind of mistakes, we are all humans and we make mistakes, the important part is what you do after you make the mistake (but D3-Demiurge doesn't have a very good record in that regard...)

    I don't expect that one to be all that easy. 1-on-1, JGs abilities are expensive and underpowered. And if the opponent is a 2* buffed to lv270, it's gonna be ugly.

    I agree. She has some pretty awesome AoE abilities that don't offer any benefits in a solo battle.

    I think JG is currently the most overrated 4*. I mean, I always target her first on JeanBuster teams, but only because her blue is annoying and slows matches down.

    That's true for her green, but at 10 her purple is still very solid in terms of damage and utility, assuming she's facing someone who uses special tiles of any kind.

    As for her being overrated ( not your words, but too lazy to multiquote), she's not nigh invincible like xforce was in his heyday, but she's still probably the best anti-special tile character out there, and she's a great addition to any team in both pve and pvp with solid damage output and a good defensive passive. I think Iceman might arguably be a better character, but we don't see him in pvp often enough to properly evaluate that. Most overrated 4* would probably be XFDP, in my opinion.

    But what will mostly make the difference is that I have her at L250, with both offensive powers maxed. That's a much better situation than with Flaptain (one that I'll be going back to after that, unfortunately, since I have an average of about 8 covers each for all the 4* released from Reed onward, and only 4 for x23).

    To add to the flaptain vs. xfdp comparison. There were probably double the chances of getting xfdp's red ability vs. flaptain's red. While not his best ability xfdp's red at least is a pretty good damaging power, plus healing him to take some more punishment from the opp. Flaptain's red is essentially the only way to win the match, and only having 2 was really stretching it to win. I only got those 2 because I opened one from a token somewhere, and I won his PvE event so I had about as many covers as anyone could be expected to have without buying any at 4/3/2.
