Didn't enter the 1st round of Jugs event cause all i got is 2* Wolvie and although the rest i have max covers for, i made the decision to finish levelling my Punisher before anyone else. So round 1 was a loss. Woke up this morning hoping round 2 would have different heroes to use. NOPE.That's 6 Thor covers gone. Oh well, on to a new topic apparently the next PVE will be alliance based. Interesting hopefully cause i didn't do anything in the Jug events means i have a lower mmr

It's actually because MBW was dying constantly that I had to sub in MStorm. Worked out well.

Good job everyone on the first part of heroic Juggernaut. I finally scored my first Red X-Force cover! I basically had to grind every last node for the last 3 hours to do it though - I'm probably not gonna have the time to do it for part 2 & 3. I used IM40 (128) / Wolverine (85) / Cap (60) to do every node, except the ones that needed Thor.

Anyways, now that there is a bit of downtime, I was thinking we might be able to share some strategies for team comps that score quick wins in PVP. If we can all do that, I think it can boost our Alliance scores during upcoming events.

For Fearless Defenders, I was running Punisher 141, IM40 128 and Spidey 115. It worked well for me, but the matches were very deliberate and I'm searching for something a bit faster so I can help our alliance score more.

The team comp I am contemplating is Patch / Hood / OBw. I think this team will be able to get people down a lot faster, but the problem is I have those three at levels 60/64/50 (though I have them near max covers).

What does everyone else think? My other options are for leveling up are CMag (level 90, max covers, but impending nerf) and the Hulk (level 65, but only 5/2/2 covers).

My 3 of choice are Punisher-109 but currently leveling him to max, OBW-85 and Thor-85 and its working well for me. But i want someone to replace Thor and it will probably be Ironman to use as an ap generator and tank to feed Punisher and give OBW her purples. But i haven't made a final decision yet.

While I haven't actually started it yet as it is too early, I checked 2/2/2 Lazythor in the Juggs thing and he's boosted to 141 (assuming you've iso'ed him to 51) with actual useful powers. So part two should be much easier for those with more covers now.

Fearless Defenders is a tougher event for me, because Classic magneto is locked out. I ran max Punisher, max Hulk, max OBW. I don't really like Spiderman for PVP actually, since he tends to slow down the fight a bit and you have to clear fast at the end so you can throw down your shield before retaliation. I used way more shields than normal for this one because I wanted to see if I could get the 1100 point progression reward; it was more of an experiment. After the rewards, though, I still was probably only down about 150 HP, although I probably won't do that again unless the reward is really good.

Cmags and Punisher or Patch is the fastest clearing team you can get right now. We'll see what the nerfs end up doing. I'm sure it won't be pretty.

As far as the next alliance event being PVE, I will do my best, guys, but I think I may need extra support from you superstars. I'm so bad at PVE it's not funny. I'm embarrassed to admit that I couldn't finish all of the prologue until I had multiple 100 level characters....

Nice. I was tempted to go for that... but then I suddenly found myself trailing the leader by 300 points with 10 min. to go in the event.

Sounds good. I personally will have little input into your team comp, though, since I'm 2*->3*

For me, though, I run Thorverine + OBW, and I wonder if Thor + C.Storm + OBW would be a better/more annoying defensive team, since opponents would need to both prioritize taking down OBW due to her steal and avoid dishing out big damage until Raging Tempest has been neutralized.

I dont find Spiderman to slow me down that much really. I think right at the end when your pushing for those last few points your better with an extra high damage character in your line-up rather than a stun/heal character - especially since in the last minutes of a competition you dont really care about downtime if your out of health packs.

I do like the comfort of having a healer during those less frantic times though.

PVEs it's really all about timing the refreshes, brackets, and rubberbanding. I managed top 200 on Hulk and my roster is still far from awesome. Though Hulk was omg omg omg grind!!!
