This was probably the easiest Big Enchilada all week. Get Kingpin down, build AP and power to finish the round and stun the active character for the next round and repeat. 4th round usual Double Storm blue and Double Thor green and get my Blade.

Kishu with Caltrops was in round 3. That round was Storm blue to stun IW, move tiles to damage Kishu then Storm Green followed by Thor yellow to kill Kishu then back to collecting AP.

Yeah, she had enough ap built up to go invisible immediately both times for me. Better than ultrons, but still super annoying and worse than the old days.

Condolences again to people who actually need this for 2 to 3 star.png transition. Four rounds of board movers, three with 4 star.png opponents.

I got through today's surprisingly fine with champed #* team of Thor, Hulk, and Cap. None of them got under 10,000, which is odd even considering how Hulk usually loses half his health charging up Thor. But still, three 4*'s to get through for a 3* cover? I still don't get it who this aimed to "challenge".

Still, if it was planned that way, Kingpin in the first wave was an interesting choice. Had he showed up in a later wave with his black stored up and his countdown spawning goons by his side, D3 would have literally been giving 2->3*'s players the finger. If it was planned like that, not just random, I admit I kinda of like that situational challenge part of it. That aspect feels doable for a 2* team. Work in progress, lets see where it goes the rest of the week.

Yeah, the second IW almost caught me because the AI still had tons of yellow saved up. I try to make sure now that I take out the last member of wave with a power or match 5 just to make sure. My go to team of 3* DP/Switch/Cage still has relatively no difficulty with beating the new changes as I can whale at least two of the waves completely although a few of the matches have cost me health packs whereas they never did before (expect the Hand waves at times). I would not relish facing the new changes with a 2* team though as it would be much more difficult and take a whole lot longer.
  • Got to the last wave two times, both times Invs Woman went invisible and I lost.

This is still too tough for 2* characters at my current level. It is better, but it is still a little overpowered.

    That is me, it sucks.
I suggest lowering the difficulty more. Possibly add a new section for higher level characters as well. icon_e_biggrin.gif

    DDQ is simply for 2*OBW+2*Magneto+2*Storm.

Like the first node is for 1*Juggernaught.
  • I just beat it, this time I only took 3 hits.
Talk about a big difference when you get a good drop! icon_e_biggrin.gif
  • Beat it today, lost the first time with a bad drop to start. Second time I beat it easily.
I will say it is more challenging but they seem to have reduced it back to a possible level.
  • still can't do this..... yay.........

Edit: real yay 26 healthpack.png later
  • After managing to beat the BE once this week with fully covered 3*s, I'm still left with the same question...

For whom are they building this part of MPQ?

The 4* node takes 4*s already mostly completed, and now the 3* node has been updated to necessitate fully covered 3*s, so what exactly is the point of anyone playing DDQ?

I have yet to fail BE even once with an essentially 2* team (I use 3*Thor but it doesn't really matter any and I could use the 2* version just as easily since his damage output isn't important in any way). After the first wave, I never get hit by a power.

You end a wave with a power and then stun/kill all the non-goons in the new wave. This is easily accomplished with 2*Storm. 2*Mags and 2*Thor give Storm blue and green.

This team has been posted about in this thread a dozen or so times. It's really easy to build (only two-stars needed!) and doesn't fail essentially ever. Why are people using something else and then being sad that they fail?

Because then they can complain about it?

In what reality would it be actually fun for every single user playing this game to use the exact same team, because that is the safest option to use??????

That is easily one of the silliest things I have heard on this forum, in many months.

Not to mention the fact that going by the same logic, do you remember WHY Goddess Thor and XForce Wolverine got the bat so hard?

    You all are so troubling.

While I agree using the same team for every situation in MPQ would be ridiculous (It's what makes me in no hurry to be on the 5* level right now), I don't think that's what people are arguing for here , or at least most of them. I think they mean having one set team for Big Enchilada mainly, or DDQ, but they have other, separate teams for PVE events, or PVP events. I have one set team for TBE too, because I know they can get it done and I don't have to waste health packs on them in other events (most of the time anyway), since I won't use them again until tomorrow.

I use Thormento for BE because I have them all championed and my 3* roster is a work in progress. If there aren't a large variety of combinations of 3* characters that can beat BE then something is really wrong.
  • My best percentage team for BE is , OBW, Classic Storm, Marvel Now Mag.
Unless I get a bad drop I tend to be ready to murder the last wave.
I think the adjustment they made was very helpful.

So much for DDQ being easier. Yet another day my 3* team gets destroyed by the Big Enchilada.

Rough day again today. In large part because all four nodes had movers again - no chance to catch up on AP when you are using it all to eliminate those tile movers.

Round 1 Capt. Marvel has a ton of health, had my champed LT half dead before I got out of the round.
Round 2 IF, so have to use a bunch of that AP
Round 3 one of the ultron goons, have to use some more AP.
...haven't gathered much AP to finish off round 4 at this point, and...
SURPRISE! Ultron / FalCap (who immediately flooded the board with yellow D tiles), Cap.

Beat it first time (level 170+ Hood/LT/DP), but it was a close one. Needed that Jean TU that I brought along.
