Wasp is leaving the token pool on Thursday, so it might be smart to sit on your tokens for a while and hold off on leveling her. She is good, but you will not be able to add many champion levels to her.

I see this advice quite a bit since vaulting began. Is the rationale that Wasp will not be as powerful a champion as some other character because she will ultimately not gain as many levels? Doesn't that depend heavily on a comparison of power sets and how they scale with levels? 

Or is it more that if you use your ISO on Wasp now, you won't have enough left to champ the characters who are still in tokens, and will end up wasting a bunch of their covers as you scramble for ISO? 

Or a bit of both? 

The latter in my case. It will be a while Before Wasp's first champion level shows up, so there's no particular rush to level her.

Current Bonus Heroes:
Thanos - Jean Grey - Gamora 

5-Stars:
Since my 3/1/1 Thanos has become a 3/2/2 Thanos, and he will soon be cycling out of the recent 5* group, it's probably best to try him as a bonus hero for a bit.  Tempting to go back to Green Goblin, but Thanos at 4 or 5 black would be pretty significant now that he has some other covers as well.

4-Stars:
The Event to celebrate Guardians 2 put me in a spot with Nova.  Between the event and Dr. Strange hitting 183, I ended up with a 5/5/2 Nova with 3 extra Red/Yellow covers.  Presently sitting at 115 CP and enough Iso (or close to it) to bring him to 270 and champ him shortly.  I used to have over 500k Iso-8, but decided to choose between X-23 and Teen Jean (caved and bought her Purple from Heroes for Hire to bring her to 4/4/4, then got a bonus hero) for the best partner to Champion along with Nova.  I chose Jean as my first 4*.  It feels good to take that step, especially with a few others close to ready behind them.  Probably going to target Wasp, Cyclops, or Captain Marvel as my bonus hero once I get the legendary token from Jean.

3-Stars:
Full champion roster, aside from 1/2/2 Star-Lord.  Gamora as a bonus hero will bring Star-Lord to 3/4/4 (or is it 4/3/4?) at level 183.  I can either leave her as my bonus to get to 4/4/4, or switch to 3* Starlord for his Champion rewards.  Either way, between the two of them I should be able to finish off 4* Star-Lord.  Likely to go with Psylocke at some point after or in-between to get Peggy to 5/5/2.

2-Stars:
The least likely tier to be up-to-date on my linked roster.  Almost always have the entire roster, unless I luck into a 5* or 4* and sell a 144 temporarily to make space while I build another and collect some HP.  The farming is always going.

Summary:
Finally champed a 4* (Teen Jean) with my second (Nova) very close to finishing with a few covers ready to add on.

Short term goals: planning my to hatechamp Riri and Agent Venom this month/season bc they are the last 4*s left to champ (that are fully covered -Cloak n Dagger will be covered in a week or two after they go into tokens)

Long term goals: work on the 3* farming to fuel 5* leveling - might be time to build that tier

Nothing going on at the 5* level, other than more champion levels in the latests.

At the 4* level, I championed Fist a few hours before the first extra cover I had for him would have expired.  Cloak and Dagger are nearly unchanged at 2/3/4.  I hit 370 for the first time with a current character (Wasp).  Next closest is, I think, Blade at 338.

In the 3*s, have gotten several more to max-champ level, and rostered several more dupes.  And 3-4 of those dupes (Daken, Daredevil, Deadpool, and Groot, at least) have been championed.  I did hit one milestone, as my second Lazy Cap hit max-champ level (this one isn't getting sold).  Two or three others are getting close.  It has hit me that the difference in acquisition rate between vaulted and latests is huge.

Overall?  Another million or two ISO into the roster.  Almost all is going into dupes now.

Looking forward?  Well, going to spend all my legendaries and cp as soon as Wasp is out of tokens, mostly looking for levels for Thanos and Panther.  And covers for C&D, I guess.  They aren't great, but still want to have them championed.

My next ISO project is my now-fully covered Red Hulk dupe (who has somehow managed to get three covers pending).  After that are two or three 3*s (Rags and Beast, for sure.  Quicksilver too, if I can somehow pull an non-blue cover).

Once I blow those legendaries and CP, I plan on hoarding both for some time.  Either until just before Starlord leaves latests or just after (he looks terrible, but still might want to have him.  Definitely not in a rush for him).

After that? Champion C&D, if possible.  Champion Howard or Dino, maybe.  Keep the farm going.  Champion whatever 3*s become possible.

Edit: I hit Shield Rank 125 in there.  I never got close to 100 when that was the limit, so I feel like raising the limit again is overdue.

Seven seasons tracked, had only five champ 4* and not all champed 3* when I started posting in this thread. Ah, memories!

Looks like eight more seasons tracked there.

Last season: rushed to champ Thanos, opened hoard to get more levels on him - opened 3 Thanos and last 4 BP I needed, so forced to hoard again. Got to where I could champ BP late in season and opened 2nd part of hoard (fully) - pulled no BP and forced into two 4* champs, started hoarding 3rd time for final week of season.

3* changes: SL rostered, not champed. Three 266 (+2, Cage/Grocket), all three dupes started. Patch/BPKK/Mag/SG/BE/Blade/Cap/Rag/BW all 255+, all BH until I stop chasing LT.

4* changes C&D rostered. 37 champed (+2: Gwenpool, Mordo). 9 at 172 (+duck).

Vaulted 4* status: Unchamped Wasp about to join my six other ignored , vaulted 4*'s (PX/WM/GR/IW/Drax/MrF [/Duck]). Drew to champ BP - instead drew SEVEN Gwenpool and SEVEN Mordo - raced to champ both. Venom/Riri unchamped with 13 covers, IF/C&D don't have 13.

5* changes: No daily drop and haven't pulled a classic for three seasons, no changes there. Thanos 453 (+3), 3/5/45BP (+4, one was bonus hero), HE 1/3/2 (+6). No 5k iso [whoops, I mean no SL]

145/156 Roster spots (+9 used, prepping for more dupe 3*'s, added all the 1*'s again).
498cp/12LT - pulled at start of season after champing Thanos, started hoarding again near end of season when I pulled to 13 BP.
Level 104 (+4)
Day 1137 ; next daily drops - (third) War Machine, not champed and will be wasted, can't waste iso on vaulted characters.

Next season plan: Still hoarding so I don't waste BP if I pull any. Will hoard until SL goes into 5* tokens, then pull everything and hope to champ BP within two weeks.

After that I may move back to classics, depends on HE status. Also will work on last couple remaining non-champed non-vaulted 4*'s, Riri first.

So yes, quite a good start on those 3. I still have 1040 CP to spend, but needed to stop for a while and level up everyone before I kept going.

On the 4* front, vaulting messed with me like it did for almost everyone. Opening my hoard gave me a flood of covers for the latest 12, so now all of them are max covered. The only ones left that aren't champed are:

War Machine (5/4/3) - He's vaulted, so I'm in no rush to finish him off
Mordo - He's next on my list to champ since I have 6 covers for him in my queue
Wasp - She's max covered, but I've been selling off her excess covers since you can still get the rework bonus for them. A 3-cover dupe leveled to 87 nets you 5k ISO and 1k HP
Agent Venom - Arguably the worst 4* of the bunch and last in my priority list
Agent Coulson - I like him a lot, but ISO needs are huge and he's going to have to wait for a while

On the 3* side, BWGS is up to level 260. Once she gets to 266, I'll roster a dupe to farm. I'm not going to sell any max champ 3*s since they're too valuable in PvP.

2* farm is getting depleted. By the time I champ Mordo and Thanos, I'll probably have 6 or 7 2*s that need to be champed from level 15. That will take a while.

So the plan for the next month is Mordo, 5Thanos, then 2* farm. Once Thanos is champed, I can use the rest of my CP to finish off the other 2 Latest guys.

It's been another month, so time for another update.

In the 5* world, I spent the rest of my CP.  Thanos is now champed and Hawkeye is fully covered at level 255.  Black Panther is 5/4/3.  So I'm done using CP for Latest tokens.  I'm not going to hoard again so I've been using my CP to try to fill in the rest of my 5*s.  Currently I have IM46 at 12 covers, Phoenix and Spidey at 11 covers, Steve Rodgers at 8 covers, and the rest at 5 covers or below.

In the 4* realm I finished off Mordo, Wasp and Coulson.  The only ones not champed are War Machine (still not max covered), Agent Venom, Iron Fist and Cloak and Dagger (4 covers).  Since Iron Fist is the progression reward for the next PvP, he's my next target.

 2* farm is up and running again, which is good because I have a lot of ISO needs.  I know, who doesn't?

So the plan for the immediate future is Iron Fist, followed by 5* Hawkeye.  If I get an Agent Venom cover, then I'll probably throw him in the mix too ahead of Hawkeye.  Unless I get another Hawkeye cover.

I opened my hoard on Thursday when Cloak and Dagger entered the token pool. Now I have Hawkeye, Thanos and Black Panther championed and I am working on getting the ISO to champ BSSM too.
Fourstar wise, the hoard provided enough covers to champ all the latest twelve, so my only unchamped fourstar at the moment is Kate Bishop, who is at a clunky 5/2/5 build. I hope to get the third black soon.
Star-Lord has been added to my three-star roster, and my replacement Iron Man 40 is the first replacement fourstar to be fully covered. Future covers will be champion levels for his big brother until he hits level 266.
Most of my ISO stash vanished when I opened the hoard, but I think I can make it work.

Since I starting selling the 266s, I have rechamped a total of 11 and added Hawkguy to my champs. Starlord will get his 13th cover from progression in his pvp, but wait until next season when he is available in tokens.  Meantime I have a cover in queue for Bullseye and Torch. Hulk, Deadpool,  Panther and Daredevil will also be rechamped as I get covers.

It's been a long time since I hoarded CP/LTs but I'm doing it again now. I kinda had to scramble to champ Wasp, and then immediately jumped over to champing Nova with the two recent reward covers that were given out. So I wanted to just slow down again, and I noticed that I've got Spider-Woman with 13 covers but level 70. Rather than stress myself, I figured that starting a hoard was the solution.

On one hand, I'm excited for Brocket covers, on the other hand, it looks Cage is leaving at the same time (and I'm still only 11 or 12 covers).

I opened my hoard last week, and am now solidly in fivestar land with a level 460 Hawkeye, 458 Thanos, 453 Black Panther and 451 Spiderman in addition to my previous 455 Phoenix and 454 OML.

On the fourstar front I have made all the latest twelve into champions. I finally got a black Kate Bishop cover last night by getting top 5 in First Avenger, so she is my next ISO investment. Once she is done I suppose I can use any excess ISO to level up my other fivestars...

Currently gathering iso to try and champ Thanos before the one on the vine goes. If I can't get enough in time, Hobo Fist and the farm will get the nod first.

I stopped opening Taco tokens to get specific 4s i need.  I stopped opening legends tokens because i can only use 73% of the 4s i am getting currently.  I am working on champing Riri (4/4/5), level 223.  Once I champ her, I will relevel the 2 stars, hopefully before Luke (5/3/2) moves to the vault. Then I will pull classics to work on 4s. Otherwise, I will wait for Rocket and Groot to join the 12.  Also hoping I can finish my 2/5/5 Coulson  if i open a bunch of tokens at once.  I would hate to spend 120 cp to finish him, but apparently he is really useful.

Alrighty - it's been about a month and a half since my last update, which is here.  Up to Shield Level 94 (from 89).

5 Stars:
OML remains at 315 (2/3/2) - haven't really used him at all since the nerf.  I've managed to fully cover Thanos (5/4/4) but have him soft capped at 285 for now.  I'll probably soft cap him at 315 sometime soon.  BP also now has 10 covers (3/3/4) but haven't moved him from 255.  I've started to use both of these in PVE and occasionally Thanos in PVP.

4 Stars:
Now have 25 champs - adding Medusa, Carol, Wasp and Cage.

15 other 4*s are fully covered.  Coulson is my next to champ as I've got two of his covers in my queue.  For the rest, I've started to slowly build them up when they have behemoth burrito or clash of the titans.  I feel like I've gotten most of the major players champed by now, so not in any rush to champ the rest.

3 Stars:
Added Hawkeye to my champs - now everyone is champed except for Star-Lord and Dr. Oc.  Not in any hurry to champ either.

I max-champed Patch a few weeks ago, and promptly sold him.  Rebuilding him now (3/5/4 - 90).  GSBW is very close (254), though I might wait to have a dupe fully covered and champed before selling her.

2 Stars:
I've been somewhat neglecting my 2* farming as I was trying to push Carol, Cage, and Wasp to champ-land.  In a little bit better shape than last time (6 champs vs. 4 champs).  I'll focus on getting the rest of the farm going next.

Upcoming Plans:

• Pulling all my LTs I get until 5* Star-Lord gets added.  Then it's hoarding season for 3 months (have absolutely no desire for him unless he gets changed soon).
• Get Coulson Champed
• Get the rest of my 2* farm back in swing
• Getting Thanos up to 315 and soft-capping him for now
• Get 3* Wolvie back to champ status after selling him max-champed
• Build dupes of 3*s that I'll be reluctant to sell once I max-champ them.

Been a while since I last divulged my progress.

 

I've now been hoarding since Vaulting…. well maybe a few weeks after that and am sitting on 69 Ledge tokens and 1287 CP.

 

I will be continuing to hoard until SL leaves the 5 star latest or they suddenly make him better and I have at least 250 pulls laying around. I’ve got 120 atm.

 

I have 41/49 4 stars champed now. I am currently leveling up all my remaining 4 stars as high as I can get them seeing as I rarely pull a 4 star now because of hoarding. 

 

I’m working on A Venom at the moment. When I take him to 250 it will be Coulson’s turn I guess, and so on. In a months’ time even with new added 4 stars I should have them levelled up as high as I can get them.

 

Then I will either get my 2 star farm up and running again or hoard iso too until big pull time. I will probably do the 2 star farm because they can be sold when maxed too if required.

I know we will get a 4 star Gamora soon but she won’t really affect numbers until I get a whole new swathe of covers for her.

Now that I've made it to three championed 5*s, I'm going to start hoarding my Latest Legends tokens and CP until Star Lord 5 leaves the Latest. Once that happens (and assuming the three Latest 5*s are all good), I will open like crazy, in hopes of fully covering at least one of the new 5*s.

Then, I'll probably go back to opening both Classics from CP and Latests from tokens in tandem, as I've been doing previously. I hope to champion Black Bolt some day. I hear he's quite good! Same with Thanos and Black Panther!

All champed except Star-lord, who is at eight covers. All but a handful have spat out their first 4* covers, and a few are rapidly approaching their second. I've had a fairly ludicrous run of lazy Cap covers and he's gone from 198 to 218 in about a month.

Up to 10 champs now. Added Wasp, Riri, Agent Venom, Agent Coulson and Spiderwoman since the last update. Blade will be done in a couple of days, and then Mordo will likely be next, as he's at 12 covers. He's also the oldest unchamped member of the latest 12, so I'm happy to be catching up.

Thanks to today's resupply, I now have all the 4*s rostered.

I'm picking up covers here and there for vaulted characters, including a bunch of Iceman and Rulk covers through bonus heroes, but none of them has more than 9 covers (XFW, Iceman and Nova).

Missing Cap and Star-lord (gutted, so I am), but have everyone else. BP and Thanos have 4 covers each, and OML has 3, everyone else has one or two.

I'm hoarding right now until I get Blade champed. I may wait until next season for a chance of R&G and Gamora. Spiderwoman has only a couple of champ levels, but Cage is at 281. We'll see.

Somehow, in the middle of earning HP to roster the recent string of GotG characters, I was able to finally roster all of the 2 stars again. And I had a bunch of 2* farms mature all at once too. So I was able to champ Spider-Woman after all.

Now I'm still hoarding CP/LT so I don't have anything to actively spend ISO on, so I feel like I've actually made some progress after vaulting was introduced.

I could max Fury; he's at 229 currently, but I don't have any covers waiting.
I could put ISO into C4ge; he's got 11 covers, so that would get him to 229, but I'm not planning on opening any tokens until he's swapped out for Grocket.

Unfortunately, all this waiting around does make me feel kinda bored, so I've started playing the game less & less.

A lot has changed in three months. About a month and a half ago, I cracked the LT and CP hoard I had been working on for awhile. I had been struggling to get enough HP to keep up with new characters being released and the ones I would occasionally pull or win through progression/placement, so I decided until I could reliably get 2000 HP in reserve (enough to roster a new character if I drew/won one or one was released) that I wouldn't draw any LTs. When Black Panther was released, I decided it was a good time to crack that hoard, as I was only three     's shy of a full roster. This definitely get me much more firmly into the four star transition.
So let's get on with it:

I actually had enough HP sitting around that I decided to go back and add Juggs and Spidey at this tier to help IM35 with DDQ. Just need to get a few more Spidey covers.
 
I've got all the   characters (except Bagman) rotating through the farm. As soon as one gets champed, I hold on to any of their covers I draw until I get 13 covers, then sell the champ and re-roster and champ them. If I don't have the right mix of covers in a two week span, then I just sell and re-roster with what I have and champ when I get to 13.
  
Every single    character is rostered and champed, except for , who is 1/3/3 and Level 91. Once he's available to be made a bonus hero, I'll add him to hopefully get him champed fairly quickly. Character levels range from  at Level 202 to  and  at Level 169.  is currently my only bonus hero at this tier, in an effort to get her to at least Level 183 for the  cover.
   
I have every     rostered. I only have one champ,  at Level 273 3/5/5. Everyone else ranges from  at Level 229 to  at Level 70. Most of them are toward that lower end, and with the advent of vaulting/bonus heroes they might stay that way for a bit, unless the devs change the status quo. I'm at least able to play at a level that I can usually get T10 in SCL7, which is good for a cover, plus another through progression. So progress on the older   's isn't entirely over, but I am glad I cracked my hoard before vaulting was implemented, as that broadened out my    tier quite a bit. I've also been able to complete a few Crashes, which feels good.

Perhaps one of the biggest changes, I've now got a handful of 5's, thanks to cracking that hoard. I haven't put any ISO in them to try and help keep my scaling in check. However, once they change how scaling is handled, I might level them up. It will all depend on how that change is implemented.
WHAT'S NEXT?
I just need a few more Spidey covers for the  tier. I doubt I'll add any characters at this tier beyond the three I have, although  is tempting for her stun.
The   farm is going strong and I plan to keep rotating them through.
I pretty much already covered my plans for the    tier above. I think I'll rotate bonus heroes one or two at a time until they get to Level 183 for the     cover reward.
As far as the     tier goes, I'm still trying to decide what the best way forward will be in light of vaulting/bonus heroes. I've saved LTs and CP and opened them in mini-bursts since cracking my hoard in February. Part of me feels like hoarding again is the only answer that makes sense, but the only reason I had so many LTs the first time around was from champing my   's. I can win some Crashes, but those are so few and far between that it's not really a reliable source for LTs. I am trying to get to at least 575 in each PvP event for the 10 CP.  and  are my only bonus heroes at this tier, but I've only gotten two  covers so far. I think I might switch to solely , as he only has one measly cover.
I've maintained VIP status since November, which I think has been beneficial to my progress.
I've finally gotten to the point where HP is in somewhat of an excess. It's allowing me to buy some shields in PvP, which has been helpful to getting to the 800/900 level on occasion. I'm still mostly on top of my ISO deficit, until I decide to level my     's.
All in all, I still feel like my roster is broadening out and that I can relying on even more teams. It's cool to finally start feeling like I'm a bit of a contender.

The theme of this update is 4* champs. I've gone from one to nine, with another on deck.

This tier has seen the biggest changes. I have every     rostered. I now have nine champs; Blade, Spider-Woman, Captain Marvel, Wasp, Riri Williams, Agent Venom, Luke Cage and Mordo have joined Medusa. They range from 279 to 272. With the covers I'll likely win from DP vs. MPQ and She-Hulk bonus hero covers, I should have enough to champ Gwenpool relatively soon. Everyone else ranges from War Machine at 2/5/5 (but only level 209) and Wolverine at 4/3/4 Level 229 (Peggy at 5/4/2 but Level 209) to Chulk at Level 74. Most of them are toward that lower end, and with vaulting/bonus heroes they might stay that way for a bit. Only a handful lack at least one cover in each color. I'm at least able to play at a level that I can usually get T10 in SCL7, which is good for a cover, plus another through progression. Crashes are still a bit hit or miss; I'm on a dry run right now, but should have some better odds in the next few rounds.

I'm currently saving for when BP rotates out of Latest, but since he's my last decently covered 5*, once he rotates out I'll probably switch to pulling LTs and CP as I get them from Classics. I can win some Crashes, but those are still more infrequent, so it's not really a reliable source for LTs. I am trying to get to at least 575 in each PvP event for the 10 CP. Iceman is my only bonus hero, and it's gotten him up to 2/2/1 Level 111. He'll probably remain my sole bonus hero for the foreseeable future.
