  • It's called monotony. There's more variation the higher you go because people use different characters. The ideal team is IM35/Storm/Widow, some people want to toss in Juggernaut or Venom because they act as a minor deterrent. Hawkeye is bad and Yelena is superbad.
  • This is one of those tournaments where it pays to just enter at the last minute and set up a quick shield for top 15.

I think you have to take some time to heal with each session. I'm taking moderate damage in each fight and with no healer you can't just jump your way to the top unless you are willing to burn a lot of healthpacks.
  • Im sad the rewards are Psylocke. This gonna be rough.

Most of the teams look the same on the high end too. It's like pick 2 out of OBW/Magneto/Punisher/Patch + Spiderman.

Bah, I'm pretty torn about how to invest in this tournament. On one hand it's 18k to get Juggs to 40 (which is a good mount), and 17k a piece to get Storm/IM35 from 30 to 50, which I'm guessing is necessary to reach top 5, which is a ton of iso for Psylocke which will not be making my core roster anytime soon. On the other hand, Psylocke's inevitably going to be featured in an upcoming PvP tournament that's probably going to offer black panther as a reward, which I really want. It just seems like a pretty big investment (~60k iso) on a bunch of 1* characters that I'm never going to use in any other tournament for the Psylocke... hmmmm....
  • its a nice event for newer players but i dont invest any iso...i dont need punsihers wife ive him icon_e_smile.gif Good luck to all other joiners icon_e_wink.gif

Finally my investment in 1*'s will pay off!

I'm glad the devs did this as it changes things up and I think it is relatively new player friendly.

Well the last couple of events have all been extremely new player friendly.

True. I'm a relatively new player and I really enjoyed the Simulator tournament as well. I just put some money into the game last week for more spaces on my roster and I definitely feel it was money well spent.

This is not a "New player" friendly tournament. Its tournament for those who bothered to max out their 1 stars (guess what level of player is most likely to have those?). And really its a Juggernaut, storm, widow, IM, venom tourney. go maxed or go home.
  • Looks like there's a featured tournament for Psylocke immediately after this one.

Not really sure I want to get a bunch of level 1 characters from scratch to just compete though, but the 1* I have right now would have a hard time beating Kicksthatkick.

B4C0N_M4G1C has 2 level 20s. That's a pretty significant roadblock for my 1* team lol.
  • Lone Star skirmish pack : every 1* hero + 3k ISO for 300/600 HP

    3,7k ISO for 300hp... I'm tempted.

I don't think I'd have a chance against that guy. I think Kicksthatkick only has level 1 and 2s, but even that would be tough to beat for my guys.

So tempted to get rid of my * Hawkeye slot just to make way for another Juggernaut - just for continous Headbutting of Modern Storm.
  • My 3 level 1 guys barely beat a team of 3 level 2 guys. I guess at least I'll get into a tournament. Was worried that I might not be able to beat any team at all.

That's the villain one. For 500/1000 you get the hero one with 5k ISO and every cover (can't remember the total amount now, just woke up icon_e_biggrin.gif )
  • I'm still quite new to this game, but why would you ever spend HP on something other than roster space (or maybe a shield) ?
