    This might actually have been my second worst moment of the day/DDQ, with the first being 3* Cap Marvel coming in the Under The Sea wave fight and Energy Manipulating as soon as she joined, but I'm so used to that by now it almost doesn't bother me...almost.
    I can't believe that this still hasn't been fixed. They could "fix" it by simply not including these particular characters in the wave nodes. Very easy fix. And yet we still have this problem.

    Screwed up the timing of my final grind in PVE. Dropped from T5 to out of T10... Ugh.

    Getting my butt whooped in the Bullseye event because I didn't realize the synergy between Ant-Man's "Ants! Ants! Ants!" and C4rol's yellow.  Once it resolved, each match against my team was doing 6K damage.

    Decided to be a bit proactive with my 3* dupes when I got the cover needed to champ Psylocke and could remove her as a bonus hero. Luke Cage was at a 3/3/5 build - no covers dying on the vine, but it would only be a matter of time, right? So I set him as my new bonus hero right Before the end of the season... and of course my season rewards packs gave me two black covers and no others. Guess I just started the countdown I tried to preempt...

    RNG cascades one-shot my 5* Wolverine at 370 with only match dmg at full health.

    I champed Yondu and thought I could run with him in The Hunt as a replacement for Gamora but he was nearly dead after just his own node. And naturally when he's healthy I can make tons of match 4s but when he was almost dead I couldn't get anything for him to try to heal the bastard.

    I decided to try SCL 7 in the current running PvE because I want to get the cover for Yondu. My top 5 characters are 3* at level ~170.  After completing 4 of each node, I was left with 1 or 2 healthpack. It took me between 2 to 2.5 hours to do the run. Ares is such a beast in SCL 7 for my roster. My characters was easily taking close to 4000 damage from his Onslaught and Sunder. What's worse is that his Sunder countdown tile was still on the board after knocking him out.

    I have to wait a few hours to refresh my healthpack and this will have a cumulative effect on my placement. For Yondu, I hope it's worth it.

    Do you have any tacos stockpiled?  I have a nice hoard I crack open just for healthpacks.

    got a 5th green Sandman from the LT i got out of the crash this morning, brought me to 5/4/2. Spent 20cp in classics, got...another green sandman. sigh. I was already in sort of a race to get covers to save the Nightcrawler (2/3/6) I have on the vine, and I'd already given up on the purple Red Hulk (3/1/6) I have on the vine. Oh well, I'm reasonably confident one or both of those two latest 4*s will get to 13. Probably both, since I won't have the iso for it lol.

    To be fair Florida is one of the most hated subs in the game. Yondu is, well, Yondu. He's no Gamora or Medusa but he's not Elektra either. And since your main focus is the Yondu cover I wouldn't worry too much about placement.

    That is fortunately just a display bug. You won't actually take damage from it after you've downed him.

    I was actually on pace for my first ever #1 finish, but then I ended up with a couple of nodes that just dragged out forever, and cost me enough time that I might not even manage T5.

    I only have 10 stockpiled. Anyway, I got my Yondu. His yellow saved me once during his essential when two of my allies were down. It was really close. I hope I can get the 22 command points.


    Got no. 1 in Combined Arms in SCL 6. You might be wondering why is it the worst? Because I got 5 covers that are not useful to me: 1 Wasp cover, 3 Mystique cover and when I opened up the token, I got Gwenpool. I was expecting to be overtaken so that I fall to spot 2 to 5 so that I can get 3 elite tokens instead of wasp cover. It made me realise one thing: players are not as competitive during off-season.


    Got a shock when I saw that one of the goon's deal 10000+ damage. It's a huge jump in damage from SCL 6, which is about 5000+?

    I did SCL9 for The Hunt. While doing my final clears I tapped the Hammer Sniper's "Deadly Shot" counter to see what it would do if it went off (not that there was any chance of that, not while running Gambit and Vulture). If it had counted down, it would have done ~90,000 damage.

    I got bored earlier and played a few pvp season matches and got the three Ares covers. Then I realized that my Ares was maxed and I have a fully covered dupe so I figured that I would sell the maxed one and champ the dupe. About two seconds later I remembered who the essential 2* was for the Black Panther pve. :(

    Not paying attention when I fired Recharge. There was only one possible move on the board. A yellow match-3. Guess where all three of the Recharge tiles landed :(

    My Cloak and Dagger getting taken down from 15,470 health to zero in one turn, thanks to:

    Strike tiles from the Gunner and Commander adding about 400 damage per match
    Pistol from a Commander
    Thunderclap from Ragnarok
    Magnetic Projectiles from the Team-Up
    Cascades of red and blue from the tiles switching.
    Two consecutive match-5s

    She had been healing up quite nicely, and had gotten back to full health when that happened.  Suddenly, Vulture didn't have a constant supply of black anymore.

    I had saved up 23* Latest pulls (plus a reserve of 120CP) for today, with two goals: 1) At least one Robbie cover so I'd have him rostered, and 2) a non-red America Chavez cover so I could champ her. Bonus heroes set appropriately, I dived in, and got: 1 5* (Archangel black), 1 Bonus hero (America red), 1 more America cover (red),19 covers for various 4* who are either champed or half-built, and two covers that were 6th in a colour for an unchamped 4*. So I went from 1 America cover on the vine, to 1 each for Rogue and Nightcrawler, AND I had to use my reserve to buy the last colour to champ Chavez. What have I done to anger thee, RNGsus?

    *Technically 21, but I got LTs from Bucky and America in the process.

    I feel your pain. I I've entered once at the 800 mark and just gave up on placement and decided I was playing progression only for that event.
