Had Crystal selected as my 5 star favorite in an effort to get the final cover needed to fully cover her.

Got her all the way to 490ish shards when of course I hit the +500 bonus shards when I was opening 4 LTs today as part of the daily quest.

I was hopping in pvp and finished my match. The app decided to restart and I had to watch in horror as it slowly loaded. I shielded, but of course, it then showed me I had lost 54 points. So irritating.

Pulled 6 Elite tokens this morning, all were 2* covers for different ascended characters and all 6 were 1/2 so no champ rewards.

Daken PvP. I planned my shields poorly, so I needed to put up an 8-hour towards the end. I queued up some people I could beat. I only planned to hit 1 person, who was likely shielded, and shield back up. I don't play competitively, but I was top 25 and didn't feel like getting knocked to t200. Wasn't going for anything higher than that.

Wiped TWICE to some of the most ridiculous cascades I've ever seen. I have my phone screen's timeout on 1 minute, and the cascades weren't done yet. That's how long they were.

Suppor Shards, hurray. Bonus shards? awesome haven't had those in a while. All gone to waste? of course.

Atlantis support (4* ) was at 1590 out of 1600 shards. Opened 1 standard support token to get my 10 shards and boom: 300 jackpot/bonus support shards. All wasted on my newly maxed 5* support

if you have a maxed support, all dupes / excess will flow over (since you can't target a maxed 5* support). but the bonus shards I received were for a non-maxed support so they all just vanish into the ether.

I think this happened to me once, except the bonus shards were applied to the favourite that caused it to go over max. I switched favourite and about 30 mins or so later, the shards were awarded to the new favourite. Maybe I was just lucky.

I've logged back in a couple times now but haven't seen anything rolled over to my new favourite. I also don't remember how many shards I had for my new favourite so anything is possible at this stage

Opened up 200 LL tokens, trying to champ Jubilee from a 2/2/2. She is now a 5/5/2 with 7 saved covers. Odds of that dry spell: (20/21)^200, or about 1-in-17,293

On the bright side, thanks to all of those bonus shards, my two Grockets combined to ascend to LVL 475. I'm looking forward to the 9000+ damage in strike tiles per match...

Not sure what the 20/21 is supposed to represent (nor do I not understand why you didn't favorite her for sharding that last cover).

But the odds of getting a specific cover for a 5 are .15 (odds of a 5) * (1/9) (odds of a specific cover for one of the 3 characters) = .0166666. Put another way, the odds of drawing anything else but that 1 cover are .983333 for a given draw. Over 200 draws the odds you missed are .983333^200 = .0346 or roughly 3.5%.

I pulled 3 Phylla's in a row when I needed anything but her. Out of the five 5* that I got she was 4 of them. Oh well serves me right for not waiting for her to leave but I really wanted to finish May and get some more Jubes, champion levels are not end of the world. I did at least get one Aunt May so she is only 1 cover away and can be finished via shards.
