Were the main missions recharging or not?

My experience was after the patch the missions reset levels to something easily achievable. I then completed one mission and then all others went straight back to 230's....

That was my experience as well. I got happy for a bit as I thought the matches would be challenging but fun. As soon as I won one match all they all shot back up again, I realised I was wrong.

Is it just me or did the standalone Hood mission disappear?

Same here. I'm going to have to see if tanking will do anything to these, because doing all this at 230 without boosts is out of the question. I'd just wind up glazed over finishing one points reset when the next is due up. Since we're getting a stack of HP for our now mis-specced Thorverines and I've no obvious use for it, I amused myself by playing the way the game would ostensibly like us to: burn health packs to keep going, boost and the cost be damned. Chewed up 600HP and cleaned out my (small) ISO reserve in about 20 minutes. Don't think I'll be doing that again.

Maybe I'll just join the Give Up Club. Demiurge seems to be doing everything in its power to promote membership.

Never mind. It's back now. It had changed to a Hood, Ares and Rags match for a second there.

Yep. After the patch I had a range of levels again. I fought two high-score battles and then went to check out some of those low-level fights… and they were all 230 again. And with the new boost pricing, I can't afford to do those without quickly getting into the "spending money hand over fist to compete" range.

I've gone through a lot of changes to this game without getting bitter, even trying to talk people back from some harsh reactions, but this is the first event to make me want to ragequit the game. The mid-event changes have now made it even worse than it already was.

Tried out letting my roster die to lower levels!

I meta-gamed my way into a 1st place sub finish. Spent as much time suiciding toons into battles as I did in real fights. Never fought the final boss IX.

Went into the new main missions after the Wolvie/Thor nerfs and became very disheartened with the opponent levels.

Luckily I have a full Patch, but now I can't even beat the first mission in the sub event now..I tanked 100 times and it is still 230.... So I am out...Friggin horrible tourney...Nerfing is fine, increasing cost of boosts is fine..But doing all this **** and make a tourney that is hard as heck....**** I say....utter and complete ****....

Yep, I'm done. Went from lvl 30 Maggia right to level 90. My highest level is 77, a nerfed Thor. Tried buffs, got my head handed to me.

Trying to figure out how much I want to grind from hereon out. I used to clear each sub 3 times, but now that the main mission is being loud and obnoxious with freaking 13 missions, I might just do 1 or 2 sub event clears and focus my energy on grinding the main mission. All of these retreats are incredibly annoying though, so I'm not sure yet. I guess it depends on how much I want that green wolvie (which would be my 5th one and probably the last wolvie ill see for a while due to pvp changes).

literally looking at two clears with that main, and really I might make it one, because the rubber band is so bad you dont need those main mission points.

I think the developers should just GIVE us a fully upgraded daredevil for all the **** being thrown at us. Or maybe just award us with hp and high iso (something like 200 won per fight).

I think I'm going to try to go for maximum rubber: I don't care about sub event prizes, so the plan would be to do a main event full clear, and immediately do a full subevent clear (without doing any previous subevent clears).

Amazing how one unannounced, greedy little change make this broken event even worse. They've sapped my will to continue playing. Nice to know 4 days of grinding will get me a whopping 70 Iso reward! Woah, now! Don't do me any favors!

Did this to me, too, but it's not changing back. Irritating. At least I have them at lvl 55...
