    I'm not going to be getting many X-Force teamups from my alliance. But I'm looking forward to having a full slate of 2* Storm teamups. A Lightning Storm that doesn't actually cost green AP? That's the stuff!

    Wind Storm will still only max out at level 94.

    per the announcement post: "The max level of a Team-Up is limited to the max level that character could have if they were in your roster when scaled up."

    It doesn't cost green AP, but you still need green AP to cast it, which makes it a pretty weak teamup. Way better off with the 1* or 3* version

    You are right, of course and I totally understand, but let's not act as if most of the player base hasn't zoomed past the "choose your team up" page and jumped into a battle with or without the team ups/boosts you did or did not want.

    I don't see this so I'll ask, feel free to quote the answer if it's already there. (Edit: re-read the notes, but still want clarification on this)

    If you boost +3 B/G, +3All, and +3TU (using all slots where TUs would go), are you given random TUs? Or is it only if your boost/TU slots are empty?

    Only if your boost/Team-Up slots are empty.

    There's a wide jump from that to actually using a TU you didn't intend to equip in the first place.

    Right but what this is, Mike, is a double attention check. I mentioned that - not only do you get the chance before the match starts, but also during it as well. If a person misses it the first time, that's most likely pretty common. I've done it myself with boosts. But to actually click it and use the team up? Probably fairly rare and if that happens...well, oops.

    I've had an inventory full of high level X-Force and Thor covers for ages (when you're fighting nothing for X-Force and 4Thor for 6 months). They are NOT useful for any sort of hopping. AP boosters will trump Teamups every time.

    Yeah, I agree, I've never been one for TU unless the situation is dire and I'm out of +3 all or +20% match damage TU. If I'm using 3 boost slots it's usually for AP and I want to use my AP abilities, not a 1 time shot. I could see them being useful for mid-level fights....but I horde and collect TU's for kicks and I'm not using a lvl 166+ TU for an "average" match, nor would I use it for a hop.
  • While I'm sure someone will think of something crazy to do with the TUs, it hardly seems like an important issue compared to how broken balance is in general so if people spend all their time figuring out how to load up X Force TUs instead of just using X Force, that still didn't make the problem any worse compared to before. Heading straight to TU is still not a good idea because TU is pretty much almost always your opponent's weak color so just because you have 20 copies of X Force there doesn't mean it's a good idea to head down a color that your opponent doesn't need at all.

    Like all the changes except for auto-loading teamups.

    I seldom use them or boosts unless i have to. Because I use them so infrequently, I don't stop at that screen to look at my empty slots, I move on past. I think it makes absolutely no sense to auto-load items you have no intention of using.

    I also would like clarification on when a TU is considered used up. I feel like I've experienced it where if you fill up the TU AP (intentionally or accidentally) enough to activate the ability but don't use it, it disappears after the battle... is this correct? I could swear it has happened to me before. It is with this understanding that I am against automatically loading TU's.

    If this is not the case, and TU don't get used up as long as you don't actually select the power, then I don't have a problem with it, it's nice to have an emergency backup it things get hairy.
