Some very nice additions in this update. The shield cooldown timer is very useful, the 'time left' bug for events being fixed is a very swift response to a very annoying problem, and team-ups sound a lot more practical this way.
As for the tweaking of early roster slot prices: when you dropped the HP cost for alliance slots, you sent all of us vets who had bought our spot an equal amount of HP, which I thought was very fair. It might be a bit too much to ask, but any chance of something similar happening for your adjustment to the first 25 roster slots?0 -

It took til page 2. I considering getting this out there first thing.
I for one would like 2 free slots please.
I am joking of course... But now that I think about it I realize how everyone had hp to buy Thor covers.
Being able to send out XF and Surgical Strike will be awesome. Lots of other great TUs to send too..... And those of us with specific slots dedicated to TUs may be able to sell those off now... Meaning this did in fact help solve some roster space issues.0 -

The first rule of F2p club is never be afraid to ask for free stuff.0 -
IceIX wrote:Spoit wrote:So, a lvl 40 3* would give 166 TUs? (if you have a leveled roster)?
But you also said:Someone wrote:When you earn a Team-Up, or a friend sends you one, its power is raised to the average level of your four best characters.
- The max level of a Team-Up is limited to the max level that character could have if they were in your roster when scaled up.
That implies that the gifted level 40 Rags wouldn't stay level 40.
Can you edit the original post to make clear the difference between earned and gifted team-ups?0 -
orbitalint wrote:Overall, like the changes to team ups but equipping a random team up seems like a attempt to use some of our more valuable ones accidentally. I don't need one every match. Maybe a 4th team up only slot in the future?
I save those suckers for high need matches and don't want to accidentally burn my 395 call the storm because it was randomly equipped on a start of a PvP or something.
As someone who is extremely lazy and never uses TUs because micromanaging them is incredibly annoying, Equipping random TUs is probably the best thing that could have happened, since now I will actually use TUs during my battles. I'm sure I don't need to explain why the (hopefully joking) conspiracy theory of it making you accidentally use valuable TUs is flawed, since I am definitely the target audience for this feature and am loving it.0 -
Hmm, alliances can really coordinate some excellent Team up strategies if this is the way going forward, very nice.0

Wow. Updates sound fantastic. I'm cautiously optimistic since things could still go wrong...
Strong alliance would get stronger since they can now send their high level team ups (XF, 4hor, LThor etc) to each other without any penalty for sending0 -

I'd like to think we use at least a small spark of our brains and notice when this happens. You'll have two main chances - one, when the team up is first randomly chosen for you and two, when you see the team up flashing and you go to it to see if it'll help in the battle. I know we play the game on autopilot sometimes, but it should be okay.0 -
Lots of awesome-ness here. Thanks for the update!0

Instead of selecting random TUs automatically we should have an option to fill any of the TU slots with a ? symbol (that picks a random choice). This way we only have random TUs when we want it.0

rixmith wrote:Randomly filling Team Up slots is a welcome addition. There are certainly times where my team up slots get emptied because they match opposing characters and I don't think to refill them. Even if they aren't the ones I'd have chosen, it will be nice to have something there in an emergency.
Thank you. I cannot fathom why people are frustrated about a convenient feature like this.0 -
A telepath ........?
Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please be Professor X.
I will be your bestest goodest friend in the widest world if it's Prof. Xavier.
Jean Grey would be ok as well, but only as the Pheonix. Unless she is the shapeshifter and we get both . But I don't think changing into a giant flaming bird counts as an actual shapeshift. More like wishful thinking on my part. For some reason though, I keep thinking Emma Frost.
Everything else looks great. Especially the part about getting to use characters that are sent out as TU. About time Fury broke out the LMDs.0 -

Yes, but how do you really feel about Professor X?
I respect your choice, but let's weigh the options...
A smoking hot redhead or a conservatively dressed bald dude in a wheelchair? Which would you choose? Kind of easy from my perspective.
Or we could both go disappointed. Isn't Moondragon a telepath as well? You never know with all the GotG love, athough she'd be the least popular of the three.0 -
the tease is for one character in my opinion, a telepath who can shape shift, Emma Frost0
-
I wonder if mr sinister will be classified as a shape shifting telepath?0

Prof X has always been one of my favorites. However, I just remembered that D3 is doing some things for Women's History month, so, I'm not sure what to expect anymore. Maybe Jean or Emma? Or both.? If it's Moondragon, I will literally burst into tears . Hear that D3? No Moondragon unless you want to see a grown man cry!
As to who I'd choose, bald guy in a wheel chair, or hot red head? On the off chance that wife ever sees this, I'm most definitely Not going to say the hot red head. . Purley from a power stand point though, I'd take Prof. X. anytime. He is supposdd to be the most powerful mind there is. That, and Jean has a problem staying alive .0 -
Vinmarc43 wrote:Ok, so i like the fact that my roster is still playable after i send teamups, but now because of this, everybody will have more dangerous teamups....Was this necessary...??? Didn't D3 had better things to fix in this game, come on man.... ?!?!?
Yes, this is an awesome edit. Why? Everyone will have more dangerous team ups, exactly.0 -
Uhhh.
Doesn't this just mean everyone will go into the fight with loki/hood/4thor or something similar? Just use your most defensive team equipping endless lvl270 surgical/xforce TUs?
Somehow it seems to me like giving people infinite max level 4* TUs isn't a good thing in the long run.0
