If you don't need those three heroes, they're no different than a regular heroic ten pack, except you're slightly more likely than you were to get 500 iso vs. 250. They are not guaranteed 3*s, and about 10% of the packs will have no 3*s, just like a regular heroic 10-pack. Before you go nuts, and especially before you spend any hp or actual money to get one, be fully aware of the odds here.
Ben, why does it show as 3* rarity then? All tokens(IIRC) are 2* rarity, even the season 10pack.
Are you 100% SURE this is not a different, new type of pack?
Consider: 1000 is a 4 reward. Electra is a 4 character. I think players anticipate much greater value out of rarity than they should. Its just the rarity of the reward, thats all.0 -

The tokens aren't the same - the 10pack is 3* rarity, the ones you buy and earn as progression are 2*. Which is why I am suspicious. D3 isn't exactly the best at communicating things so either this is a bug or this is a brand new type of 10 pack.
Holy tinykitty, that Blade/Ares/Daken essential node is tinykitty as tinykitty. I've spent more health packs on that node than anything in like a month!0 -

Wow, thanks D3P. I now understand what the D and P stand for in your name.0

Missed out again. At the end i bought for the first time health packs with hero points, but lost on the second to last non essential node The Hood, which killed my comeback
The lost 100 HP will hunt me some time later on...Give the people from 11-50 at least a heroic/event token but a standard token? Are you kidding me?
Now i need a break...0 -
Alpine (#2) at 2337 people. Seems to really be a **** shoot.0

I'm going by the odds when you click on it, which includes 10-pack odds. This wouldn't be the first time they've put 3 stars on a regular event pack. I guess it's possible that I'm wrong, and it's actually all 3* tokens that aren't buyable for some reason, but I think it's more likely just a regular 10-pack. Given how much money they make off the tokens, I think it's highly unlikely that they're making a 3* token pack that isn't available for sale, since they used to charge 1100 HP for 3* tokens when they had them, and they'd probably sell a bunch.
Also, right now, the Easy sub that started 5-6 hours ago is only up to about 5500 people, so I"d guess it'll be 4-5 hours until it fills up.0 -

Gotcha. I'm new so I've never seen those 3* packs before. I thought they were just gating them off or something.0 -
I wonder if they ever set stuff up like this top ten race just so they can monitor it and catch cheaters? I'm not in the known on how all of that works but I'd think it'd be a good way to do it if they can monitor individual games.0

I doubt it. They should have better methods to finding hackers. Even if they did monitor The Gauntlet to catch those who finish quickly, the top 10 are filled with longterm vets who would have long since been sandboxed if they cheated. For example, stage 3 has Puerto Rico, Beee, TheDIrewolf, me, Deertlylunatic, Seshoma, Chris001, ureno, Spider man 75, and locked in the top 10. I've either played with, against or otherwise seen these names for many seasons.0 -
Man I'm having a brutal time on Simulation 24 (CMag, Spidey, Falcon).
I just don't know what to do to stop the tokens from getting out of control, I try to keep them from matching purple and getting it myself to use DDs purp, but if the get enough yellow Mag drops the coercive force on me and I can't do any damage. I've got DD at around 150 boosted, but then the rest of my team is lower: 2 Cap at 101, 2 Daken at 94, 2 wolvie and Luke cage at 78. Normally run Daken / wolvie and rock strike tiles but falcon keeps me from building them fast enough and magneto can wipe out anyone. I can't seem to get AP quick enough for the Cap or DD to kill the protect tiles either. What can I do?0 -
Loki? Captain/Ms. Marvel? Daredevil purple.0

It's a hard match, because although Spidey on his own isn't a threat, when he contributes to Mag/Falcon it can get painful. On top of this, you can't ignore Magneto because he'll shake the board out and put out ridiculous dmg.
My strategy for this one wasn't a sure thing: Since my MagStorm wasn't allowed I had to bank on 3*Cap(And I think Hulk? Or Maybe Hood). Problem is, Redwing eats Cap for Breakfast. I was lucky enough that Spidey kept eating AP instead of Magneto, and took down the node, though it took a long time. I recommend a strong Team-Up, definitely boosting, and big AOE dmg if you have it. I would focus Falcon first(Falcon + protect tiles = no fun) because he has low health and he gives the other team time to pull off shenanigans. The faster you can go against this team, the better.0 -

Thanks for the advice. I guess it's gonna be boost red/yellow and all colours and try and nuke falcon down with wolvie and Daken. Maybe throw in a weak OBW to try and steal AP0 -

Go DD / Wolvie / Daken.
Spidey is actually your best friend. If he uses All Tied Up, it means that Mags can't nuke you. With your team, best bet is to focus Red, then Green, then Blue. Ignore Spidey's Purple - if you get enough Red, Wolvie can slice right through it. Hold your greens until you have enough Red to maximize Strike Tiles, then play be ear. If you have Mags weak enough, then you can use Wolvie's Green + Daken's Blue to take him down. If he still has a lot of HP, save up for Adamantium Slash. Once Mags is down, they really have no offensive skills, and you should be able to pick them off at your leisure.0 -
I just reached the Mags/Spidey/Falcon node myself. Took one look at it and said "This is a job for Captain Marvel." Might pair her with Loki and She-Hulk...0
