    ************************* SPECIAL MARVEL PUZZLE QUEST WEATHER BULLETIN *************************

    S.H.I.E.L.D. has issued a Severe Tinykitty Warning for the Deadpool versus Marvel Puzzle Quest Event from 22:00 EDT (03:00 GDT) to 00:00 EDT (05:00 GDT).

    Participants are advised that experts expect the following two hours to prepare for the worst player zerg rush in MPQ history. Side effects of this event may be strongly buffed villain and goon health pools, incredible "confirmation bias" cascades of unbelievable probability, an suddenly strangely intelligent opponent AI, and unprecedented numbers of Supernovas and World Ruptures thrown around from Dark Avenger Team-Ups. Also, be on the lookout for potential server connection issues originating from extreme player load, especially in the last and most intense 30 minutes of this weather event.

    Participants are advised to stay indoors and seek shelter unless they possess a viable Sentry or Patchneto at this time.

    S.H.I.E.L.D. expects this weather pattern to quickly disperse after 00:00 EST (05:00 GMT), but remnant tinykitties from the community may linger from those unfortunately impacted by this weather event (especially those who thought to sneak into the event in the last two hours).

    Note: Even after this weather event passes, no one will still believe your tales of confirmation bias cascades. They don't exist.

    You know, I was actually looking forward to this event, but instead it has turned out to be a grind-fest of epic proportions where, because I was unable to play for most of my Saturday, will be lucky as hell if I can even break 100 to get a single DP cover, and with some of the most thoroughly annoying nodes in recent history, so it's not even actually fun to play.

    I had hoped that this would breathe a little new life into the game for me, but instead all it does is point out for me that it might be time for me to look into a better and more fun game for my mobile gaming.

    There's no need for last minute warning in this event. Due to the way the RB works, if you're not within about top 100 it's already way too late for you to do anything unless you have an instant win hack, and I'm not even sure if that's enough for you to catch up to the guys in the top 5 who have scores that looked like they didn't sleep yet since the last sub started.

    I've been pleasantly surprised by this event. Deadpool as a character was done very well both mechanically and throughout the event. I'm somewhat apprehensive about A Little Off the Top, which is going to be pretty horrific to fight on defense, and the event rewards for this were obviously kind of...wrong...in terms of how low the point thresholds were, but other than that this was entertaining.

    I dunno, I'm #1 in my main bracket with 34.6k and I slept quite well. Wondering whether to start the last push yet or wait a bit more to get the most out of RB.

    Just hoping nobody just below me is waiting to get any 1000 point nodes.

    No idea how I managed it, but I got one full pass in (plus a couple of high point repeats) with 2 minutes to go and managed to get a top 50 in both. Was not expecting that.

    And I pulled the last Punny green I needed from a standard token so it looks like a good day for me icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I was 5th in my Thor bracket so I'm fine if this stays out for an hour.

    Ditto I think I did but whats the hardest I had to fight for 3 covers on a new character ever. (In fact I changed the order I did the nodes in the last hour this time around since I appeared to lose out in the last sub)

    Same for the first part. Instead of trying to blame my internet, they need to just have a picture of exhausted hamsters who apparently fell out of their wheels.

    EDIT: The "Post Preview" thing that shows you posts that were made while you were making your own post is idiotic. Is there any way to turn it off? I've tried to post at least a half dozen times, and keep getting showed new posts. I DON'T CARE.

    And love that when the game servers s*** the bed, the forums start lagging too.

    The last 90 second match I completed was too late and that was just before my connection to the server went down.

    Man, I had to FIGHT to stay in the top 100. I think I ended up at #89 or so. I'd know for sure if I could connect to the game right now.
