Oscorp Heroic - July 25-31

My last run through the three essentials got me to 54K so I should hit 60 sometime tomorrow. I might try a quick run through the rest of the nodes before the end just to get me back into the top 10 (13th at the moment).
Sidenote: I don't know why it hadn't occurred to me earlier but IM35 and Falcon work really well together. It's not what you'd call spectacular damage output but there's so many protect tiles out you've got enough time to grab all the TU tiles and at least 19 blue.0 -
As I am awake, I should be able to rank well in the sub that will end soon end.
It would not be so easy for the main event which will end at a not so convenient time for me.
Sadly, the blue hood cover is for top 10... and this is the only color I'm interested in0 -

Any hood covers at all would work for me, since I have only 3 yellows. But it's an impossible dream due to timing. I'm waiting a little bit before cleaning house on the sub to see how far I can go with my battered team and 3 health packs, but I'm hopeful.
On a side note, I unhappily discovered How To Get Rid of Unwanted Team-ups Instantly! I updated the tablet last night and went to tinykittyland trying to get rid of all the useless Yelena, Moonstone, seed team etc drops while prologue grinding out Rags TUs, but didn't bother to update my phone. Fine, I thought, I'll just play and see how the difference works out.
Get back to my tablet, the tinykittied game puts me through TU101 again... uh oh. All my hard-won team-ups are gone, and I got more stupid Yelena TUs again fighting Oscorp. On the bright side, I managed to keep the initial Fury ****-Assemble TU.0 -
tinykitty you, game. 15 minutes left in the PVE sub and you force me to update? tinykitty you. I was mid-tinykitty-match and you force me to lose.0

Uh oh....
Looking like no rubberband on the last 36 hours of the event....0 -
Anyone else notice their results tab is messed up for the subevent that just ended?
Leaderboard shows me in first with 40,535 points
Results tab says 14 of 84 with a score of 14063...

Look back a few posts I explained that I think the rubber banding is in the last 36 hours.
I think you meant to say that there is no rubberbanding for the last 36 hours?
In any case, my posting was to confirm that this indeed is the condition of the last round of the event.
Sucks to be anyone that didn't reach at least 50-55k by taking it easy over the last two subs though.0 -
My rewards just came in and they were the right rewards so maybe it's just some sort of display issue?0

Tinykittying scared the tinykitty tinykitty out of me, as I was in 3rd and the tinykittied results screen showed me first as 33rd, then when I closed and started the game again, it became tinykitty 157th. There is not enough tinykitty in the world to express my tinykitty feelings.
TINYKITTY THANK YOU for handing out rewards quickly and showing that it was only the results screen that got tinykittied and not the records and leaderboard. I tinykitty needed that hp or I wouldn't have been grinding for top 5.0 -
Got my CMarv at 60K. Done with this event - saving my scaling for Deadpool. Enjoy your Hood covers!0

I hope the keep this format with RB turned off during the final hours. It was fair last time, it's fair now.0 -
Picked up my CMarvs this morning, played up to 1st in my sub, ran some errands. Came back with five minutes left played one match and got back up to 2nd.
I'll probably play a couple of nodes in the main, but I'm content with slipping down a bit. Only need 1 black hood cover (or 3, but that's a different thing) so if I can do very little and stay top 50 (I'm 10th now) for the extra ISO great. Otherwise nice lazy top 150 is the goal.0 -

Put me down as another that got a heck of a scare. I finished one of the top two in my sub to be greeted by a screen telling me I finished in 42nd place.
Got the right rewards though so all is well.0 -

There is rubber banding in the last 36 hours its just not great. If your within about 18K of the leader you see the base nodes so for example like father like son 370 points. If you MILES behind i.e. 75K you see this node at 1320 so it has a 3.5 mulitpler on it. This makes my estimate of way out and its only about 22k for each increase in the band. So 40K back would see this node around 740 etc.
I have not totaled up the number of points on offer for a single clear but they look quite large but you are right if your sitting are at 50-55K you no hope of climbing into the top 10 unless everyone above you gives up.0 -

Yes same here. I was 3# before, and when update was through,I was 10#, had time just for one match and finished at 9#. Tinykittylitter!
Most annoying was that when after loading the update, tried to open the game and ...common link disrupted! And it wasnt about my internetconnection... And when i got the game open, it was soooooo slow updating with the numbers rolling at the opening screen. After all that there were about 2minutes time to play. Tinykittens!0 -
Sounds like the rubberband is a variation of Prodigal Sun/TaT subs where you only see the rubberband if you're unbelievably behind, which I think is a decent system. It throws a bone to those who are lazy as long as the overall leader easily surpassed the highest progression reward, and if not, it's your own fault for being lazy, and those who can see the rubberband are never in a position to threaten the overall leader so there isn't as much emphasis on the last hour rush.
Now if only they realize missions should not refresh in less time than it takes people to sleep.0 -

That makes sense. I'm looking at the bracket scoreboard, and am about 13k behind from casual play of this event. That would explain the lack of rubberband. Thanks!0 -

It's 2520 (or something close to that)/clear.0
