    Nice. I was thinking about maybe She-Hulk to go with the PvE but Steve is also great in my books since only 6 in our alliance have cover-maxed him.

    Steve is already maxed and I sold all of the covers of his from the Torchling pve that just gave him out. I'll probably still aim for top 5, because ISO, but this is nice.

    Looking forward to playing sentry daken with psy.

    First Psylocke red, now steve blue! All the colours I have none of! Love it, I'm going to tinykitty grind the tinykitties out of all the pvp and pve.

    We should be due for at least one Modern Storm and She-Hulk PvP sometime this season. As you note, She-Hulk is a powered-up character in the new PvE, which makes her a likely candidate to be the prize for the Steve Rogers PvP.

    I *almost* downed a team of 140ish psylocke, hood and hulk with my single cover psylocke, obw, tiny-thor. (I know, this is neither horse-shoes, nor hand-grenades). Hulk had 19 HP left after all my powers exhausted, and my last match damage was made. Needless to say, you really don't want to make hulk angry. lol. Even though I lost, it was incredibly fun to come so close! I'd have gotten like 45, but lost 3. I bet the guy was surprised I even retaliated if he even remembered. Heh

    The biggest hurt from that was really just the health packs. definitely put me behind for all the stuff going on.

    We haven't had a Hot Shot round for a while either.

    Looks like MMR will need some time to recover after Balance of Power - got to nearly 400 points and been facing level 70-110 opponents throughout, as opposed to the 120-166 I usually get.

    Heh. I was wondering last night if D3 had thought about what the BoP event could do to mmr. I feel for the players with lower level rosters.

    I had a similar experience. Very refreshing fighting something other than a wall of 166s.

    I'm getting the 120-166s, yep. They're chewing me up while I work on the pve progression for blue Steve. What I get for coming in 3rd on BOP, I guess!

    But I will have my revenge! Kitty Thor and OBW generally work well enough on anyone who isn't Sentry/LDaken, plus I still have a few functional 3*s I keep as a B-team. I'm saving the high value retals for when I'm ready to climb and shield. I only really need blue from this - my Steve is 3/5/0 and I haven't got enough iso to softcap him anyway

    I'll likely switch to Sentry/Daken for the final push tomorrow night, but for putting in a base score holy dang... Patch/Daken/Psy is ridiculously fun. Team strike tiles!

    Psylocke + LDaken is so wrong, it almost doesn't matter who the third person is on the team.

    Case in point, my ROFL moment of the day:

    -- Was fighting a team of Psy/OBW/LThor.

    -- I cleared out OBW first, and had just finished downing Psylocke, leaving LThor and his 10k health remaining.
    -- Computer pulls out one of those "Confirmation Bias" cascades, granting LThor 21 Green AP.
    -- LThor sneers at my roster, tapping his hammer and grinning in anticipation, verily.

    -- LDaken looks at the board, and sees it chock full of strike tiles from the 7 Green matches by LThor on the previous turn. LDaken smirks in anticipation and glances at Psylocke.
    -- Psylocke giggles for a moment, before regaining her composure and focusing on the task at hand. She nods at Daken, signaling that it is time for action.

    (Red) Psychic Knife --> (Black) --> Psy-Katana --> (Blue) Chemical Reaction (-3 Strike Tiles) --> Match Green (+2 Strike Tiles) --> (Strike + Attack tile damage) = Downed LThor.

    Poor dude, got served hard. icon_lol.gif
