Ohhh... YAY! Maggia! Just what we always wanted with crazy scaling in play.
Also... on the main map, only 2 nodes open on the right side before unlocking the current sub. The remaining three on the right side are locked. Looks like those three would unlock the third sub, which leaves the 6 in the middle for the typical final round global rubberband free-for-all that makes any previous sub work completely irrelevant.
What else is old?0 -

Looking at the time frame of these subs, I'm guessing there's going to be at least another 2D sub so that leaves only 12 hours for the main map nodes, even if they're repeatable, which they might not be. So I really wouldn't count on having an easy bail out at this point.0 -

I'm torn, part of me wants no global rubberband at the end, but another part is stupid and thinks that that would benefit our lower-scoring members. Well, and another 1000 alliances, too. So no crazy rubberband, hopefully.

Got a Blue Black Panther cover from my token. It's a 3*, and a good one. So I'm happy with that.
EDIT: Wow. That was genuinely one of the most rigged matches I think I've ever had. Since D3 is claiming the True Healing thing was all about promoting Roster Diversity (and giving us a restricted and kind of awful roster for this event), so I thought I would switch it up a bit and try out Wolvie, Storm, and Daredevil. I was able to get 3 Blue Traps and 1 Environment Trap on the board, but the computer conveniently always had different moves they could make. And it got to the point where Daredevil had low HP, so I started focusing on just matching Wolverine tiles. Until it just happened that I couldn't make anything but a Daredevil match so the computer could kill him.
Then the board was constantly falling so the only match I could make was a useless blue match that would somehow result in there being a Green, Black, or Purple match for Daken and Bullseye. Seriously, how can I not look at this event as a complete sham?
On the plus side, don't have to deal with Juggs, Ares, or Venom this round. Still see a Sentry. Hopefully the scaling won't take him too high.0 -
Roster diversity doesn't mean you use Daredevil on purpose.
Daredevil is actually pretty good if you're fighting guys with an extreme amount of HP (like over 10K) because that's where Ambush might actually come in handy. If your enemy can still be killed by Adamantium Slash range of damage, there's no reason to use DD.0 -
I'm shielded now in Daredevil PVP, gonna whip him out in PVE for a few matches but I'm wondering ~
when venom converts a random tile to a green web tile, can that disarm a daredevil trap?

There's no consistency on what counts as 'convert' and what counts as 'destroy'. For example Thor's Thunder Strike converts up to 9 basic tiles to yellow and does not disarm the trap, but Magneto's Magnetic Field which converts 2 tiles to blue protect tile will disarm a trap if put directly over a trap. From what I can tell, changing the special status of a tile disarms it, e.g. trap to strike (Daken), or trap to protect (Magneto), but changing the color of the trap does not remove it. So, going by that logic, the web tile changes the color and its special status (to web) which should disarm the trap.0

So for review the following Dark Avengers screw with Daredevil: Juggernaut, Sentry, Daken, Venom & Ragnarok
Daredevil might have some success fighting Moonstone & Ares as red users, Yelena, Bullseye and Hood in some of the current nodes
Oh wait another question, would moonstone destroying a random tile potentially disarm or trigger a trap? I know Magneto's red skill can disarm a trap0 -

Daredevil is a limited specialist against guys with way too much HP, but you already have Punisher who excels at dealing with these guys, so there's not much reason to use him in this setup. You'd only want to use Daredevil against Juggernaut/Venom/Ares who all have a ton of HP once scaling kicks in. Even though Juggernaut is very strong against Daredevil, if you didn't have Punisher there aren't any good options to whittle down his potentially 10K+ HPs. Of course, you do have Punisher for this event and Retribution + Judgment is more than enough to deal with even a 10K Juggernaut, so no need to bring Daredevil out unless it's for fun, or to preserve Punisher for the Army of One event.
Gravity Warp destroys the tile it's on if it's unable to warp, so yes it will disarm the trap if the AI happened to guess right.0 -

Yeah but I think he's asking what happens if there are no special tiles to warp (trap tiles don't get warped) and the AI happened to select the trap tile to cast warp on. In that case the trap will be disarmed. Would have to be very lucky (1 out of 64) but weirder things have happened.
By the same token Unstoppable Crash isn't as strong versus Ambush as it'd appear, because while it has a 1/4 chance of destroying the trap, the resulting mega cascade has a pretty high chance to set off any trap that survived it. Not that this is a reason to use Daredevil when you still have Punisher available, but board shaking ability is a double edged sword against traps. If you don't get the trap on the initial shakeup, you've an awfully good chance to hit it on the cascade.0 -
I joined this morning, and everyone who joined that bracket must also be feeling super lazy. After the first sub ended I was 7th in my bracket. 7.5 hours later, I'm down to 10th. I think my entire main is comprised of people who are planning on joining the current sub right near the end as well. 1000 smart sexy people we are.0

from the lack of movement of tje leaderboards...it looks like everyone is waiting on joining the next sub

kitty this event. ive pkayed 1 full clear and 2 clears each of the shulk subs...sitting top 20. why grind hard when u dont need to?0 -
The subs have only 200 people and are likely to have far greater variances. If you get an easy sub you can easily slack your way, but the main bracket has always been quite competitive for me.0

I think that Magneto triggers traps with Magnetic field, will have to test it, but damn, Bagjustice ended and I won't find a Daredevil opponent now for love or money.0

Seriously though, I haven't even started the latest sub. I will at some point, but not like I'm grinding away like a mad man right now. But then...now that there's Doom rewards in the punpun event...look out! Things about to get crazy up in here... word.
