The intent of shifting the Sneak Peek to the Events page was to try to populate other sub-forums more, and reduce the dependence on General Discussion for information. If I keep a redirect link on General Discussion, then that defeats the purpose.

Season start is usually about 12 hours after DDQ. US EST is about 8 pm. The Vintage store has a timeframe at the top of the screen, going until just around 1am Sat, US EST.note: if you are concerned about opening 4* tokens with current heroes (power man, spider woman) that update happens approx 11AM US EST, or DDQ+5 hours. What I'm more concerned about is whether I should wait until season starts before opening my VINTAGE tokens or if the VINTAGE store will be gone by when the season starts.I have a few ones and wanted to wait for the new season so that I can bonus mark Star Lord *** and Rocket & Groot **** before flipping these tokens.

Then it should be noted that while I DID come here and find this thread, it was an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I don't think the dependency on General Discussion for information is a bad thing, and would argue that having ONE common area for important information is logically superior, especially on a platform (web forum) explicitly designed for the share of information between users.I get that there's a desire to increase traffic to sub forums, but cannibalizing the efficiency of locating useful or important information is extremely counter-intuitive.If it's not broke, don't fix it.

That is the intent behind the News & Announcements section. To that end, I can link the Sneak Peek thread in that section from now on, in order to guide players to the Events page. The issue with having all major discussions in General Discussion was that players ended up creating discussion threads of all different topics in that one sub-forum; Event threads above Character threads above Bug threads above Token threads. It eventually led to a very convoluted compilation of random topics, which also had the side-effect of pushing anything but the most popular topics off the front page faster.

If I keep a redirect link on General Discussion, then that defeats the purpose. Would you consider creating a post in General Discussion called "Monthly (June) Updates"? It would contain all the redirect links of the game updates for the month (e.g. Sneak Peak, Pre Release Notes, Season Changes, Event Details, etc). This way there is only one post to avoid the General Discussion clutter of redirects and the players are still being directed to the appropriate sub-forum.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but I'd assume most people would prefer less forums and quick access to the information from the developers. Or keep the wide variety of forums but restrict your announcements to News & Announcements, Characters, and Events so we know where to look? Trying to find information shouldn't be its own PuzzleQuest.

Just to ask for due diligence though, what would be the difference between a Monthly Update thread in General Discussion versus going through the recent posts in the News & Announcements section?
