If I'm going for true annoyance with Cage and Mr F, I do X-23. Between C4ge's protect tiles, Mr F's team healing, and X-23 true healing, she never needs a health pack unless your team gets killed. But with Jean Grey boosted? Yeah, that's a no-brainer. Boosted, Champed Jean Grey is a cheat code for the game.

Problem is, you can only use two of those boosted legends with the required rare. Mr F synergizes perfectly with Cage's yellow, since he makes fortified tiles. Throw in Punisher's green on the first PVP, and you give Cage three little strikes for a nice chunk of damage. I can see a lot going with Jean and IM40 though for AOE on blue, black, purple, and green. Should make some fast matches.

@Brigby I know it's a long shot, but any chance we could get some Dev input on this? What kind of crazy world do we live in where they give us an event that features best friends, then a Luke Cage built to work with Iron Fist, THEN an Iron Fist built to work with Luke Cage, and then NOT boost both of them when that event runs again?

More like Kingpin Thing "Friends" Forever.. it would be great if the devs listened to our universal negative feedback about this event. If you're going to make Vault Tokens only accessible during the offseason PvP events then at least let it be events we enjoy like Combined Arms.

Season start is usually about 12 hours after DDQ.  US EST is about 8 pm.  The Vintage store has a timeframe at the top of the screen, going until just around 1am Sat, US EST.

note: if you are concerned about opening 4* tokens with current heroes (power man, spider woman) that update happens approx 11AM US EST, or DDQ+5 hours.

My Venom has been at 3/1/2 forever, it'll be nice getting AT LEAST 1 new cover on him. I don't even care about him as a character, but as a collector that wants everyone champed, him being tied with Spider Gwen as my lowest covered 4-star at 6 covers is not a good look. I don't Bonus Hero people until they are at least 9+ covers, so PVE/PVP progression were literally my only shots for the longest. 

I'm surprised there isn't any Howard though, I kinda thought this was his event.

From the Doctor Octopus announcement (emphasis mine):

Marvel.com: When can we utilize Octavius’ nefarious intellect for ourselves?

Josh Austin: Doctor Octopus (Classic) 5-Star will be available on June 1. The 5-Star cover store will be available to get Doctor Octopus (Classic) with increased odds. Doctor Octopus will be featured in the Webbed Wonder event that starts on June 1 with his new art added into the event. The player will still get a Howard cover and will also be able to get a Token for the 5-Star Doc Ock Cover store. Doctor Octopus (Classic) will then be added to the Latest Legends store June 19.

Aw, no CP at the end of progression. Just a token for the limited Octopu5 Store. Tempting to not go for it. But I just Champed Agent Coulson and it would be wrong not to play the event he's required in. Sure is too bad I have so many heroes with ISO priority over Eddie. I'll have to make sure not to go for top 10 so I only have to sell the progress cover in whatever starts Sunday.

@broll I purposefully didn't link it to General Discussion to try and gauge how many players will migrate to the Events section. The intent of shifting the Sneak Peek to the Events page was to try to populate other sub-forums more, and reduce the dependence on General Discussion for information. If I keep a redirect link on General Discussion, then that defeats the purpose.

Why is Meet R&G being run again already? We just had it a few weeks ago for the 4* R&G release. We haven't cycled through all the other events already have we?
