  • I wouldn't sweat it either way. I don't think there's a "wrong" build here outside of not maxing 5 yellow for Patch. There's a case to be made for 3/5/5, and even 4/4/5 too. I chose 5/3/5 because I don't want to have to build teams around maxing how many Patch tiles I can get on the board. As new characters come out and I potentially play around with my roster lineups, I think 5/3/5 is a more future-proof build, although I easily see the allure of the one-hit insta-kill for the 5 red build.

Yeah that was my concern, the need for him to be in charge of tiles. Screw it I'm gonna go 5/3/5. I need to make a decision instead of hanging on to covers forever.
  • Jeez guys. You really put a lot of effort in this. I won first and second sub and now I am aiming for 3rd win. After 2nd sub I was 3rd in my main bracket.

You don't have to do 4 refreshes. Just do it ONCE. After retreat some battles it would be easy matches. In 3rd submission enemies at my "Juggs" final mission are at 35level (!!!). Easy game. Doing once you will loose some oportunity to get 500 iso reward in every mission but you gain ... time, life, whatever icon_e_smile.gif

Nty. I wouldn't feel like I won anything. I'll win like I'm supposed to.

I'm confused. Are you only doing 1 refresh (2 rounds) joining early in the sub event or 1 round and joining really late in the sub event? Because whatever I'm doing is not working, heh.

If you will join early you have to do all 4 refreshes to be in the top. I don't believe that rubberbanding will do all job for you. Just join late to sub and do missions (2 rounds) near the end of sub, so no refresh at all.

  • Looks like we will hit the "Intel" goal later today. Perhaps multiple sub-brackets will open up again after unlocking Daredevil. Or maybe I am just assuming this will be more like The Hulk than it really is.
  • This has been a very frustrating event so far. Retreating doesn't seem to reset the levels for me, and nearly every successful replay gets me only 20 ISO. I kid you not, most missions have "1/4 rewards" even though I've done them several times. I really hope the pace picks up because the PvP has been pretty frustrating as well.

I hope this event ending + the next event starting will be enough to get the remaining 10M, if not I won't see what happens till tomorrow morning due to time zone.

I had to retreat a lot to get it to pay off - 15-20 times. It lowered several of the missions about 30 levels overall, usually by about 10 levels every 5-6 retreats. You need a deep roster because you'll knock a lot of characters out - I'd recommend using the first mission and the provided OBW.
  • I'm pissed I screwed up my refresh timing - needed first place to finish my 5/3/5 Patch.

Finished my Patch on the last refresh. I feel bad that I have to take 1st from the others in order to place to get my daredevil.
  • OH boy, the 230 missions are really kicking my *** this time. Getting ZERO blues for Spidey and just getting butchered. Lost 3 in a row icon_e_sad.gif
  • Accidentally joined the 230 Ares, Moonstone, Bullseye mission without boosts and finished easily lol.

4/3/5 Patch is nice. 5/3/5 is going to make this a cakewalk.

Retreat while u can, if no boost & or very unlucky situation

  • I am. Expecting enemies to regen points with about 1 hour 20 min remaining.

1 hour 21 minutes til ending. Got my regen.

Exactly 8 hours after I completed it for 2nd time.

I think I'm in too deep (currently at 1st place in main bracket) to start only doing 2 full clears. I'm currently doing 3 clears daily (4 is too hardcore), and maintaining a solid 200 point lead over second place. Doing 3 cycles is also good since people tend to be lazy and only do 2 cycles, which basically ensures you 1st place at a subevent (to me is just 75hp, which is fine). Another thing is that doing 6 mission clears through 3 cycles will let you get most of the 500 iso rewards, which I desperately need right now.
  • I got a partial 4th bracket before I had to stop due to time constraints in clearing, phantron is about 300 pts ahead going into the finale, boy did I hit a Hard core main bracket.
