    So I’ve been trying out…..

    The Maker 4/5/4
    4As5 Carnage 5/3/5
    3As4 Jubilee 3/5/5

It works but it has less control than the team I listed above. With this team, the attack tile damage gets out of control and fast. But now I’m (desperately?) chasing black and purple for The Maker so that I can keep the team from taking so much attack tile damage. And because of that, the team feels more hit and miss than on my team of Maker/5Miles/Silk because that team can still do damage passively by destroying web tiles and the resulting cascades. With jubilee and carnage, it’s pretty much attack tile damage until you can get enough black and purple.

I like the team feel tho. I kinda wonder how much Reed is needed on the team. Carnage and jubilee do the heavy lifting more often than not.

I used Maker, Carnage, Red Skull a few times in PvE recently to great effect. Red Skull seemed to remove Carnage's enemy strikes. Not sure I'm brave enough to try this in PvP to confirm that Skull works the way I think he does. Will have to wait for an appropriate PvE to test it again.

Skull's black removes an enemy special tile each time a Hydra tile goes off. Great way to clean up SAP tiles & I can see it helping a lot on that team!

Found a new dynamic duo from the recent releases.

    4AS5 Daredevil 4/5/4
    Silver Sable 4/5/4 or 4/4/5

This duo is based around DD’s awesome yellow passive. It creates a yellow strike for each hero on the team when a power is fired. DD and SS have some of the cheapest powers in the game and the board floods with yellow with just this 2. Fire SS’s black, meet its conditions, and you get even more yellow.

This duo rocks with any other character with cheap powers. Especially the new Iron Man (cosmic invasion).

Iron Man (cosmic invasion) equipped with Avengers Tower level 5
    4AS5 Daredevil 4/5/4
    Silver Sable 4/5/4 or 4/4/5

Once you fire 2 powers to start off a turn, your turn won’t end unless you want it to. Iron man’s powers are weak but the CDs he creates give yellow, blue, or red AP when matched or destroyed by your team. Avengers tower has a 60% chance to grant 2AP in your strongest color after a power is fired. Right now, with this team, the strongest color is purple. SS’s purple costs 3 to fire. You fire that and you get 3 yellow strikes on the field and you got a good chance to get 2 more purple AP. IM’s yellow costs 5 and makes 2 red CDs that gives 1 red AP when matched or destroyed. Avengers Tower also has an 85% chance to create 2 red tiles when IM fired a power.

TLDR: just keep firing your powers. Find the match 5s on the board that’ll show themselves. Fire IM’s blue to destroy a row and make more cascades/match 5s. Fire DD’s yellow to stun if a miracle happens and you can’t fire anymore powers.

But it shouldn’t come to that because your turn will never end and you’ll just keep firing.

    This is awesome.

I wonder if there's a way to integrate 5* Carol and milk that yellow generation when strikes are destroyed by non-match powers?

    Viper/Zemo/Skull is hilarious.

No one seemed to care about Sunspot or new Cosmic Iron-Man, but I put the two together & asked Okoye to come out of retirement while she was boosted.

Sunspot does extra hits when you fire any power in his colors, Red/Yellow/Purple. Cosmic IM can maintain winfinite with red & yellow, and his blue can destroy & trigger his CDs you'll be making. Good enough with just the two of them, they got through day 18 of The Tower & Cosmic is only 2/2/2.

Add a booster like Okoye & they ramp up. Cosmic makes yellow with his red, Okoye uses that to heal & makes more TU to boost the damage, and Sunspot backs up both of them with those extra hits.

Sunspot is way more useful than I expected.

I loved playing Shuri, Legion and 4* Magik. Just waiting to ascend them all see if they can still compete!

    Please elaborate on the synergy....

If he had said 4* Magik, I'd get it. Magik creates fortified tiles, Shuri gives AP discounts for fortified tiles, Legion can fire abilities for ~3Ap(?) after the discount.

Darkchylde Magik, I don't get as a synergy. Maybe they're just his 3 faves?

Maybe it’s the new metagame? Psych your opponents into using lower powered characters with absolutely no synergy by persuading them they’re a synergistic powerhouse?

4* IF Lin Lei, GoldMay, and Adam Warlock make a delightfully annoying defensive-leaning team with their constant healing and protect tiles.

There is some redundancy in IF’s and Warlock’s purple abilities that could afford some situational flexibility in their specific methods of yellow tile generation.

I've always wanted to run a fun healing team.

    I might try this.

Surely this is the perfect place for Anti-Venom!
No? Still absolutely terrible? Yep, that checks out.
I think they should just rename him anti-fun and be done with it.
I’m curious what your win condition is? Golden Oldie’s insta-kill blue?
I think I might sub in Hagatha or Captain Britain in place of Adam Warlock, to play off the protect tiles and so there is some actual damage potential?

However, if they were to change anti-venom to passively do damage based on any healing that occurs within the team, then we’d be in business!

    Oops....I meant 4* magik lol

But yes once you had reduced abilities, it became very easy for Legion to control the game from there on our, reducing enemy AP, fortifying tiles, doing damage....he was a powerhouse in that team.

Sometimes I'd replace Shuri or magik with Abigail brand

Ah, poor Anti-Venom. You’re right about Agatha being a better damage dealer than Warlock, but I was mostly trying to find a place for him.
